This is what RUclips is about. Not someone sitting in a chair regurgitating Wikipedia while monetizing the lives and drama of others. Just a person sharing a part of their adventure through life. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely Brilliant. Not a challenge to be taken lightly, by any stretch, with lots of curve balls to deal with and a good quota of plan B's. A true inspiration to anyone set to embark on an expedition or risky adventure showing knowledge and professionalism will reduce your risks and help you achieve. Thanks for all the effort to allow total strangers to share your experience 👏👏👏

Chapeau, Henry! An epic adventure. I remember Guy Cribb and Antoine Albeau crossed from France to England about 15 years ago, but there were two of them and they had a support boat. It just shows you what you can do with years of building knowledge, experience and ability. Windsurfing isn't just about the PWA and blasting along at 30+ knots feet away from other racers. They are the jetskis to your cabin cruiser. Windsurfing is fun even in lighter winds when the challenge can be getting from one place to another and overcoming adversity. Don't get me wrong - the PWA folk are amazing, but windsurfing can be so much more. Well done! I am very much looking forward to your next adventure, but it's OK if it's not as scary as this one 🙂

Well done Henry , I’ve not windsurfed now for about 5 years due to injuries and free time . Fallen out of love with it a bit but when I watch videos like this it ignites the love I once had for blasting across the water , excellent videos 👍

Well... I'm a retired windsurfer, have sold my equipment years back and I agree that light wind is scary and heavy wind is scary too, the sweet spot in-between never lasts long! On a long haul you don't have the luxury to change sail surface so you must know your capabilities very well and pray that the weather forecast is good. This crossing unassisted is a great achievement, congratulations. I watched the complete series about your trip, very well made and again bravo!

Thanks, really enjoyed that. I started windsurfing aged 14 some 44 years ago, I crossed the channel with a mate when we were 19. It was tough, but the kit was nowhere as good as the gear you have today. No way we could have done it unsupported. You did a fantastic job great commentary and great sailing skills. 1 fall! Amazing. Makes me want to break out my bow ancient kit and start windsurfing again!

Great achievement, really enjoyed watching your adventure. There is something unique about Longboard Windsurfing - it is somewhere between sailing and recreational watersports. If I went back to windsurfing I would probably want to try longboarding again since it has a totally different quality to kitesurfing.

This was so good, for so many reasons. The simplicity, yet sophistication of the equipment. Henry's enthusiasm, and joy like a young lad walking to the candy store! The shipping behemoths navigating the channel, and of course the history of the greatest armada with a singular mission, to restore and preserve freedom, for so many people. Thanks for taking us along Henry! ✌️❤️ 🇺🇲 Mark
