- Thank you for watching! Please do subscribe if you haven't already. It's very exciting to be able to grow the channel and show more people long distance windsurfing. Very much appreciate all your likes and comments given the collective wind sport experience of the audience!

I don't know why the youtube algorithm served me this series but I'm very thankful it did, great films, well done. Inspirational.
It thinks you're into watersports.
Yeah same.
He is part of the evil progressive new world order so his content gets pushed
Exactly the same 😂
Me too but watched it and just want to say congrats.
This is what RUclips is about. Not someone sitting in a chair regurgitating Wikipedia while monetizing the lives and drama of others. Just a person sharing a part of their adventure through life. Thanks for sharing!
Wind surfing is basically sailing with a broken mast and without the ability to sit down 😂
It's actually insane how wind surfing works. Hats off to you Henry this was an epic watch! SUBBED
I don't know where, I don't care. Simply brilliant; all three episodes 😊😊😊
This is top class content! Edited superbly. Amazing shots and storytelling, and an amazing accomplishment. Thoroughly enjoyed the series, great stuff mate!
Very good of you to say, thanks so much chap! Always enjoy watching your vids!
Thanks so much dude! V good of you to say. Always enjoy your vids!
I can practically smell the moules frites... Honk!! 😂 Been waiting all week for Ep3.. it didnt dissapoint.. great editing , great achievment 🤙
A true adventure in the old British tradition, well done
Hat’s of mate ! What an incredible adventure ! I have been windsurfing for 35 years and I would not have the courage to do that trip alone ! Respect !!! ✌️👊👊
Wow what a Journey and total respect from a fellow windsurfer.
Absolutely Brilliant. Not a challenge to be taken lightly, by any stretch, with lots of curve balls to deal with and a good quota of plan B's. A true inspiration to anyone set to embark on an expedition or risky adventure showing knowledge and professionalism will reduce your risks and help you achieve. Thanks for all the effort to allow total strangers to share your experience 👏👏👏
Bravo Monsieur! Very ballsy.
I knew from the first episode when I noticed your resting face is smiling that you were going to make it. Congratulations Henry on both a terrific windsurfing achievement and excellent storytelling!
That was a great adventure. Well done. It was a great pleasure to follow you . Welcome to France.. 😊👍👍👍
Chapeau, Henry! An epic adventure. I remember Guy Cribb and Antoine Albeau crossed from France to England about 15 years ago, but there were two of them and they had a support boat. It just shows you what you can do with years of building knowledge, experience and ability. Windsurfing isn't just about the PWA and blasting along at 30+ knots feet away from other racers. They are the jetskis to your cabin cruiser. Windsurfing is fun even in lighter winds when the challenge can be getting from one place to another and overcoming adversity. Don't get me wrong - the PWA folk are amazing, but windsurfing can be so much more. Well done! I am very much looking forward to your next adventure, but it's OK if it's not as scary as this one 🙂
As a man who gets sea sick, RUclips sent me this marvellous series. Bravo on your achievement. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Well done Henry , I’ve not windsurfed now for about 5 years due to injuries and free time . Fallen out of love with it a bit but when I watch videos like this it ignites the love I once had for blasting across the water , excellent videos 👍
Well... I'm a retired windsurfer, have sold my equipment years back and I agree that light wind is scary and heavy wind is scary too, the sweet spot in-between never lasts long! On a long haul you don't have the luxury to change sail surface so you must know your capabilities very well and pray that the weather forecast is good. This crossing unassisted is a great achievement, congratulations. I watched the complete series about your trip, very well made and again bravo!
Why light wind is scary?
Was a great pleasure to see your challenge. In those days it s nice to see the common people doing incredible things. Thank you for sharing your emotions. Regards from Poland.
Superb. Thoroughly enjoyed watching. Been looking forward to part 3. Beautifully edited too.
Just beats my sailing high….🙂….
Can you imagine being on the ferry to France sipping tea, reading the paper and seeing this mad bastard come wind surfing past. Mad lad
I have absolutely no interest in windsurfing but man have I enjoyed watching this, a massive well done to you sir👏👏
What an awesome trip! It’s rarely that you see a true adventure like this, really breaking the mould and achieving something unique. Well done, Henry!
This was so good, for so many reasons. The simplicity, yet sophistication of the equipment. Henry's enthusiasm, and joy like a young lad walking to the candy store! The shipping behemoths navigating the channel, and of course the history of the greatest armada with a singular mission, to restore and preserve freedom, for so many people. Thanks for taking us along Henry! ✌️❤️ 🇺🇲 Mark
I'm not into windsurfing, but your journey is truly inspiring. Congratulations Henry.
Thanks, really enjoyed that. I started windsurfing aged 14 some 44 years ago, I crossed the channel with a mate when we were 19. It was tough, but the kit was nowhere as good as the gear you have today. No way we could have done it unsupported. You did a fantastic job great commentary and great sailing skills. 1 fall! Amazing. Makes me want to break out my bow ancient kit and start windsurfing again!
This has to be one of the best videos I’ve seen on RUclips this year. Your knowledge of the conditions and geography of the English Channel was impressive and informative. Your enthusiasm was infectious. Inspirational is the word that comes to mind. Well done for putting together these 3 videos . The world needs more people like you. Best of luck mate. Look forward to your next adventure. Btw I’ve shared this to a few like minded pals.
That's a fabulous and such a lovely comment... Its really special when people just like you take the time to send such a nice message to Henry. well done you...
Great ending to a real adventure. A big thank you, Henry.
To paraphrase Del Boy, “who dares wins”. You dared and you won. Bravo!
Congratulations, Henry 👏👏
Was eagerly awaiting this section to be uploaded, and it was an absolute joy to watch. Great editing and presentation all round. I look forward to your next adventure. 👍
Great adventure mate well done , from a fellow windsurfer from Pompey now living in WA😊
Great achievement, really enjoyed watching your adventure. There is something unique about Longboard Windsurfing - it is somewhere between sailing and recreational watersports. If I went back to windsurfing I would probably want to try longboarding again since it has a totally different quality to kitesurfing.
Welcome to the club of legends. Congratulations Henry, Bravo !
I know nothing about windsurfing. Doesnt interest me at all. But I absolutely loved this series. Crazy YouTibe algo nonsense ... but super enjoyable. "How civilised, France in time for lunch". A classic commentary.
The algorithm brought me here, and I'm thankful it did! What a fantastic series of films. Chapeau! Congratulations on a great achievement.
Well done Henry. What a great achievement, and what a great way to remember it. This has been a fantastic little series.

What a way to end the Summer!
Nothing better than watching you cross the English channel to go steal some "Bière" from the Frenchies!
Well Done!
One of the best windsurf series of videos ever. Well done. Entertaining. Loved the bit of Bach.
What a fantastically cheerful adventure!
Been windsurfing as a teen and young adult. Gave up on it when my kids were born but vids like this make me wish I never quit... Maybe I will make a comeback in 2024...best Sport in the World
