Full credit to you skiers who ski these steeper runs. I must admit my large, older frame enjoys the tree lined runs. That's the joy of skiing I guess the variety available in the most beautiful locations.
Yeah, IBEX is an interesting one I'll have to revisit... the powder was deep that day and I found it difficult to manoeuvre, my kit wasn't right and I know that now after getting my new boots... that's all I'll say for now :-)
104% is 46° - that is extremely steep for a groomed black... You can see this run in degrees instead of percent here -> ruclips.net/video/VPpWWls6ZTo/видео.html
Well, yes, but conditions change on these slopes... and they can be very challenging... I'm just going through them quickly... when conditions are reasonable...

Agreed, it's nice to get the adrenaline pumping every now and then, but I also enjoy the more relaxing and scenic runs :-)
As a snowboarder, that Chavenatte mogul field is my worst nightmare! There is no joy go down that😄
Yes, understood... however, I don't think they were as large as they can get on this day... :-)
That last one looked a tough one, steep from the off. If you are ever in the Langwied region, the 'Black Mamba' takes no prisoners.

Are the slopes harder to ski, this year?
These are older videos... I haven't skied this season yet... my van broke and only got it back today...
Крутые уклоны. Но судя по следам там много лыжников катается
On the last one, Ibex, that was in the morning and really busy... everyone wanted to carve up the powder...
@@ChasingSnowда, я увидел что на последнем уклоне толстый слой свежего снега
What does a slope gradient of 104% even mean? 😧

@ChasingSnow thanks!
It means for every 100m you go forward it goes 104m down. Hence slightly above 45°.
Where are you these days??
Just started my ski season in Kopaonik...
Yes, sure, slope can be called "tough" if it is covered witg icy gravel. But this story is not about ski ;)

Wie unsicher und langweilig!
