    Wow nice Job in Fl we pull out the whole water source to work on it in our shop Due to fire hazard Regulations in Bldgs and Condominiums

      Wow.
      That regulation, our code seems a little excessive

    Gotta get you a set of feildpeace probes and use measure quick. If your a good tech with out digital probes, it’s like getting a super power.

    have you made a video of dangers of reading across legs and getting 0 volts. always check to ground. i bet that pump at 21:40 was only breaking one leg.

  • @digiwrench863

    yes..i always check rev valve TD if things are weird/bad evap split/noisey compressor carrier resi doesnt make it so easy though =(

    Gotta love the Geo repairs… at least it wasn’t in a crawl space lol. Those erratic drain faults on the Waterfurnace will typically lead to a faulty board in the near future.

    • @TaddyDigest
      @TaddyDigest  Год назад

      I hope the board isn't bad, but I think it may

    • @nebo1227
      @nebo1227 Год назад

      Gotta use those pan tabs on a water furnace. Your drain faults will disappear.

    What do you do when you have a water loop port that keeps dripping like that? I run into that quiet a bit when servicing Geo's and it gives me concerns that the loop will get low because of the drip, granted the cap pretty much stops the drip.

    • @TaddyDigest
      @TaddyDigest  Год назад +1

      If the cap stops the leak then I would not worry about it if it's shooting out very fast at a steady stream. Then definitely order another p t port

    Stuck in the middle position. Doesn’t happen often hopefully the compressor is ok

    If anyone wants a quick way of replacing the reversing valve all you have to do is take your blade of a sword or or hacksaw and instead of heating them all up and trying to pull them out you cook close to the actual reversing valve then you can individually pull on each one while heating it and cleaning it off

    They have a new coil and compressor they should go ahead and change the reversing value and they have almost a new unit but it goes that way sometime I have been a service tech for 23 yrs and saw it many times that’s just how it is

    So what's the benifit of putting a gt unit over a traditional A/C unit? This unit looks just as complicated as an A/C or hvac unit. I was under the impression that a gt system didn't need a compressor and all the same stuff as an HVAC. I was looking into GT to cut my energy cost. This is confusing to me.

    • @TaddyDigest

      all geo units have compressors only difference is they have a water coil

    Sounds like that geothermal system cost the owner more money in service calls, repairs and parts. Then they will ever save on energy efficiency.. and just think of it it’s not even cold yet.
