A better PC helps, but I get 240fps and the desync is still there. Sometimes it feels great, others it's simply horrible. It's 100% the servers and netcode.
I've heard somebody say that to me before they said that with a better PC you just noticed the network problems that much more through microstutters etc and that the biggest bottleneck is the networking stuff (ie I would see a bigger improvement switching to fiber than getting a new PC)
@@dartlinfps 1 Gbps up/down fiber here, doesn't matter. De-sync is as bad as CoD, IMO. Maybe it's the Cloud Servers or w/e. I will say, I just played again since before the jump nerfs and the game felt better, not perfect, but better.
I think you might be right about the cloud servers what if they essentially are just virtual machines and not ACTUAL dedicated hardware to save money and this performance issue is bc of that... I played a solid amount of matches today trying to get some footage and caught myself asking why I was playing against Angelina Jolie from wanted more than a few times lol
snipers need to be reworked. They deal the same damage at ranges which means a lot of attachments (like chrome lined) do absolutely nothing but hurt your weapon. counter wise there's also never a reason to not use the lightweight barrel as it just does the same damage at all ranges so there's no downside whatsoever edit: also want to add that in a game where it takes 6 shot tk it doesn't make sense to have weapons that can 1 shot to the body at any range
I don't think a better gpu or cpu will change the outcome as long as your fps is at least what the server tick rate is. But I think it's all about fiber internet.
I can guarantee you that it's not the PC. I am running a Ryzen + ATi last gen while my cousin has the latest i9 and 4090 and we are, both on the same ISP (2.5 GB connection) and living in the same area and we are having the same issues that you described. And it's not constant, so some games it work great for me and bad for him, some games the opposite and some other games great/bad for both of us. I don't know what they did and how they did it, but before Season 1 it was working as great as it could for both of us and we were scoring 1st and 2nd place almost every game, but now it's extremely sweaty

I have seen alot of other ppl say it got worse after the new season, I think the network is the biggest bottleneck but even with fiber etc there's issues still in game that are out of our control, I think this has led to alot of people to step away (maybe forever or maybe until they hear it has improved)
If you quickscope me in a gun fight, fair play. If I laser you while you are hard scoping and you pick me off then the that recent nerf did absolutely nothing
I miss the days where your performance in game wasn’t dependent on what gear you had. Give me MW2 where everyone was on the same console and no one had better gear.
I need to use those attachments when I see a sniper on the enemy team that's a good point, idk y I stopped using those attachments they really make you way faster
What monitor do you use? This also plays in system latency as well. Monitors that have very, very low response times and motion blur reduction can at times be the advantage you need in these fast twitch games. I have several monitors but yet to get an OLED but my Zowie monitor is by far the most preferred monitor to use in XDEF, just more responsive and instant quick response time with little to no blur. If you're really competitive like me and you want that extra edge, you gotta try these type of monitors. I have other fancier type monitors like IPS and VA but I always go back to the shitty Zowie for it's clarity and speed!
I use a relatively cheap lg monitor 144hz it doesn't have any crazy special features I think it uses the same type of panel that zowie monitors has and the picture suffers a bit for better performance... I definitely want to upgrade at some point but I'm going to upgrade my entire system because it's 4 years old now (still works I just want the best I can get once I can do so
@@dartlinfps Crazy theory, but upgrade your monitor first. Go for broke with the monitor you want and then upgrade your PC after. Something like an 32" OLED or 27" OLED @4k or 2k will have you at endgame for a very long time! What are you PC specs?
Snipers are OP, every single time, not just sometimes... especially the TAC-50, you can get hit reg's on them, does nothing. Quick scope is even worse, you just have to be within the scopes view and your dead.. the flinch they put in is useless..to me running around with a snipers in a close up gun battle is stupid, I even saw one youtuber show a clip where the guy he was shooting with a AK-47 with hit reg showing, had his secondary handgun out, he swapped to his Tac-50 and took him out...
Oh yeah tac 50 is most op, I noticed it's faster than the new sniper it seems and it is so forgiving, the fact that you can basically hit somebody in the belly button and flinch up is kinda cheap, it seems like tac 50 is better than the other 2
Signal booster but it was like a voip amp used to boost the signal if you're wiring up multiple rooms to connect to the coax cable so it was pointless for the single modem in the house using a coax cable from the living room wall
@@VeeHausen Sniping is very rewarding, I consider myself more of a run and gunner with the sniper, took some getting used to after CoD but it’s been well worth it. My friends find it funny that I have all snipers 200 plus in leveling and regular guns at least my m16 is around 40. Again I’m just love the snipering the most, even more when you force people to rage quit 😂😂
I need to start sniping now that I got my Internet fixed bc it seems to be the biggest skill gap in the game, I'm convinced those guys that I played last night were not going to really get beat one-on-one and a lot of situations unless I was using a sniper it didn't matter if I shot first lol it was like if you hit your shots the sniper beats EVERY other weapon in game it seems like
I think snipers are only overpowered on keyboard and mouse to be honest with you, it's def a skill weapon though, it's CRAZY going against like 3 of them that are really good it's oppressive but they do have to hit shots (I think a lot of the times when you feel like you're shooting them and they get a shot off its a connection thing bc flinch is pretty strong now)
lmao I think they're fine, the only time I dislike playing vs them is when the enemy is clearly desync'd and has a couple hundred ms advantage to the server and always sees me first or when I see them first, my first couple shots don't even register despite hitmarkers

Like these players will complain about hardscopers and quick scopers regardless of the fact that they play like boys and cry like babies when they themselves were the only problem

thats a really good point, it seems only the ads attachments and the flinch reduction attachments are useful everything else is just like filler

Try strafing more in gunfights and spec your weapons for ADS walking speed.
If you're moving a lot it's really hard for snipers to hit you.

I'm crazy, I run a M44 wit ACOG and spec out for pure ADS speed/shoot to sprint stats....pushing objectives with snipers is hard but really rewarding!

Snipers aren’t broken. You have to be accurate to quick scope. You full auto babies get rewarded for shooting toes.
