I used to skate a lot when younger I think my best trick was a double heelflip, I broke my arm really bad when I hit a rock and was shot forward and I stopped my fall with my arm instead of rolling (bad idea) and my arm looked like a dollar sign I kinda slowed down after that but I enjoyed skating for like 7 years or so and made a lot of friends at the time through it I have recently been watching a bit of videos with andy anderson in them he's cool bc he has a totally diff style than anybody else

This was actually happening to me last night and I thought it was stick drift tbh, I think the aim assist shuts off completely sometimes, it has to be due to connection bc any time it happened, the enemy had 90+ ping next time it happens to you check the scoreboard

I don't think a pro scene is what will boost the game up, it needs way more of a casual base before pro scene can even be a popular thing imo...hope you are wrong though, but if season 3 doesn't deliver you might be right

I agree, I think worse would be being passive aggressive and not pointing things out and then having some big blowup later about something I never even mentioned was bothering me (moreso applies to personal relationships and stuff, but same goes for games) as they say the squeaky wheel gets grease

There has always been games/movies trying to show real life and there are still games/movies you can "hide in". Whatever that means. As long as the game/ movie is good I don't see what you need to hide from lol.

I'm still playing, just prob gonna wait on the next update to post any videos I'm not expecting custom games to be super fleshed out at first but I definitely think they can add a lot of spice to things especially after they come out of beta and get more features and stuff,

I haven’t been playing much. Ranked is dead. There’s nothing to do. If season 3 doesn’t deliver I’m pretty sure the game will die off completely by then.

Very true, I played many sessions where I prob shouldn't have played as long as I did but at least now I can hop on and just play a few games and get off without feeling like I need to grind

The camo grind was super easy to me for the most part. The only thing I hated was sniping (they’re overpowered). Compared to other games where it gets tedious. I’m able to just hop on xDefiant and have fun with everything. Got the grind done in 3 weeks just playing like normal. Quad xp is OP.

I agree I think that it's good that they have input based matchmaking, but having it on by default for everybody makes it harder on keyboard and mouse players in terms of queue time (sometimes it's not an issue but at certain times of day it can be kind of crazy)

No your right remove the battle pass and start adding cosmetics ....if they want to add fomo have a weekly discount

yeah I think they need to come up with other methods to get players to buy stuff, after having the camo also, there's some skins Ill likely always use over the camo (paintball skins have better audio due to your own gunfire being lower allowing you to hear more information compared to other skins, same with the watergun acr, there's also a free mp5 skin we got from the beta that I'm sure some ppl would pay for to get better iron sights on) I think them having many options in the store often and using discounts like you said would make things a lot more attractive for players to buy

@dartlinfps instead of complete skin how about tactical gears....gloves combat boots bag pack ...scarfs ....small accessory let them cost like 5 dollars ...you know little shrinkage

heavy barrel, leather wrapped front grip, fast mags (or quick mags if you don't want extra flinch but slightly slower reload), lightweight stock, and either leather wrapped grip or quickdraw grip (if having probs with recoil fabric grip can help by having slightly better recoil recovery)

seriously though, I didn't like mw22 ground war but looking back they had maps and kept delivering content, I have been tempted to go back just to play gw, they completely neglected us on mw3 while pretending to care at the start lol

I'm noticing more of situations with high ping players in fps games basically being "time travelers" and being a whole second ahead on the server sometimes, if you watch killcams it usually has packet loss and more and they will be shooting you where the server predicted you to be (not where you were actually standing or moving, usually a few feet away etc lol)

that's what a dev said on discord before the season started (it might not be the case idk) seems to not make sense to do that though imo and is a bad decision I would honestly be shocked unless they just meant that there will be a new camo progression path s4 that has diff requirements than currently so pyro could very well get way easier (or god forbid) harder to do lol

I think the m60 and the svd was the worst lol ironically the marksman rifles feel a lot better now than when I did them

I think getting the attachments is fairly easy but if you're unable to play on double XP weekend or something it can be kind of annoying, I think that they want to limit the amount of weapon levels people can get per session because they don't want people to get bored with the game or something and maybe also because they want people to use store skins instead of camos earned... Some of the decision making leads me to believe that because it's the only logical reasoning behind some of the decisions

I think without playing the objective it gave similar to what it gives now but if you play the objective especially capping and re capling you can easily get eight levels or so in one match (it seems the absolute best method is immediately capping a and then b and if you can start to cap c a little but dont fully take it and anybody who starts to take b take them off the point recap etc it gives a good amount per cap

I think they wanted to try to balance the addition of weapon XP for objectives and they wanted to see how much it was accepted without putting it in the patch notes, issue is tdm streaks are still the best way to level weapons... I'm curious if and when they'll revert anything, a lot of ppl don't like their progress being slowed...it also lines up with the first time I can remember since launch that we didn't have 3 XP tokens to earn weekly (only 2 20 min ones this week)

It's pretty sad how the game was handled for keyboard and mouse players I think a lot of people gave up earlier but the people who stuck it out have to be somewhat in denial if they don't acknowledge the fact that the game ISNT in a good spot for mnk players It's actually kind of crazy I switched pretty much to controller on this game because of that... Sitting and waiting to get into a match for a long time and then playing against some player with bad connection or something was killing the game for me and it felt like finding other keyboard and mouse players the game had to search far and wide and put a lot of players with over 100 ping in almost every single lobby I was finding , it's wild how the playerbase is split up, there really are so many players that are more average to below average skill on controller compared to playing versus the same 100 people on keyboard and mouse who are all fairly good at the game and fps veterans... If the matchmaking didn't take so long I would still be playing mostly on keyboard and mouse if I was able to play against a lot of the same ppl I play vs on controller. (But they have their input based on so I'd never match with them except on controller)

I can find TDM matches at 1AM without IBMM on using keyboard and mouse lol turn off IBMM and even that late at night I am into a lobby within 1-3 minutes. West coast US, moderate NAT type

It's not late at night I have probs finding games on mnk it's earlier in the AM if I want to game before work or if I have random free time mid day it just takes minutes to get lobbies vs basically instantly on controller, I don't like feeling like I spend half the time waiting for matches vs actually in them (I love mnk but I feel like the game was made by mostly controller players for controller) if the game ever actually has a real pro scene I guarantee you nobody on keyboard and mouse will be competing

@dartlinfps this is it. If you look on xdstats at the best m&k players, their accuracy is about the same as the median controller player. The best controller players have about double the accuracy of the best kbm players. That is a crushing advantage!

Yup, I think that there is a definite need to give the competitive players what they want but I also think that the game has a bit of a struggle with attracting casual players while also appealing to competitive, things like the spider bot and firebomb have no business being in any kind of competitive setting in my opinion I'm curious how many whales there truly are bc a ton of ppl I see with a bunch of skins in game are Ubisoft Creator partners who get stuff free, that said some ppl def buy stuff, but I wonder how much battle pass sales make vs bundles etc...they could possibly take notes from cod with their "blackcell" as greedy as I see that as being and don't like it, whatever keeps the game moving forward imo

@@dartlinfps Totally agree about firebomb and spiderbot + trying to appeal to both types of players.. I think Halo does this well by having separate settings for comp vs ranked vs casual modes over the years.. Ideally give the competitive scene full control over their own game settings/allowed weapons and abilities so that they can agree on what works and what doesnt like they did with the MLG league in Halo 3. The creators who get the store stuff for free are also a direct way of enticing players by the store too, overall I've spent about $30aud ($17ishUSD?) on the game since release between battle passes and buying 2 skins.. I'm usually a "no mtx purchase" type of gamer, but that $ amount means I've actually spent more on XDefiant than I have on mtx in ANY other game in the last decade, so I guess that's saying something. I know that number is super low but I spend money on XD for 2 reasons: 1 - I genuinely want the game to succeed because I want other developers to realise they don't need to implement a predatory SBMM system to have their game do well financially, really hoping it kicks off a trend in the industry (unlikely but I'm generally a positive and hopeful person so I still believe) 2 - Some of the skins are genuinely just cool.. I love that some of the weapon models completely change and even the audio is different on some.

I think I probably spent 20 or $30 before season 1 which was the point where I became a Creator partner but at the same time I want to see them continue this trend of having really cool cosmetics like the recent stuff in the battle pass and skins that have different looks and sounds, there are a few of them that I prefer over using pyroclastic, for example the battlepass ak and m16 or the new paintball MP7

I have it right now I like it but I also feel like it's just a waiting room for warzone as much as I hate to say that it just feels like that's the main focus of Call of Duty lately, I just have it because I got a free month Game pass that came with a controller I got, I personally don't dislike it but there's a lot of stuff that I do find annoying like just the amount of stuff that gives randomness on there like the recon showing ppl through walls after death

I think he does know what he's doing I just think that the whole games as a service is something that he doesn't have a lot of experience with, I think the games that he is most known for are from a different time where games would get updates way less frequently

I agree I can't stand the heartbeat when you get low health covering up every other sound in the game or some of the sound effects like your own ghillie suit on echelon being loud... Also you can hear direction pretty well now but you can't tell the distance

the m4 with rapid fire and the highwaymen is pretty crazy too

yeah the tdm xp is not even comparable when you can do a long streak and just start getting a level per kill or more, domination objective with 4xp is OK, but def doesnt justify them increasing weapon lvls by 500 per level

@@dartlinfps yh i remember saving boosters and doing em all during a double xp, shiii was going 40/60 lvl's a game lol now they feel a lil slow but wont be touching em anytime soon

yeah it's def slower to level weapons than it used to, they also only gave 2 weapon xp tokens to earn this week as opposed to the regular 3, they clearly are trying to slow players' progression down because they want to save probably a lot of what they are working on for season 3
