Hlw sir.I am an international student from Bangladesh and i am coming in san bruno to study at the skyline college.can you please give me some tips about accomodation for the international students like us?😃
skyline is at the top of the hill, you will likely need a car. living close to el camino is likely the most convenient as it is close to more retail. everything is commutable by car. reach out with any questions!
@@BAYAREA650 what else would I have to take into consideration, rent/mortgage is most people's biggest expense. I'm I'm single guy , no kids. I live pretty simply. What would you say would be the minimum base salary to live in San Bruno for a 1k a month apartment?
@@brianjohnson4967 do you know of a place there that is for $1k a month? Rent usually isn’t that cheap! But if you’re lucky and know someone who may rent you a spot for that cheap , sure! I’d say rent is probably a little more closer on the higher side but again depending on the location.. I make about 55k a year and live 10-12 mins away from San Bruno and I cannot afford. I have to have roommates.
@@brianjohnson4967 location wise, San Bruno is good. It’s a small city, Bart, cal train access, mall, stores etc. which state/city are you coming from if I may ask?
@@BAYAREA650 I currently live I Atlanta, GA. I got lucky and have a rent who owns properties, willing to rent a 1 br in San Bruno for 1k a month, utilities included. I've worked as a personal trainer in GA, and made about 40k a year. It's tight, but I was able to get by living alone. California pays more than GA, so honestly I'd probably easily make more than 40k, if I personal train in CA.

Awesome? You have incredibly low standards.
What is the average rent in San Bruno and the cost of living?
A 1br apt is around $2200-2400. It is still one of the more affordable cities on the peninsula

Could I live comfortably there if I had an apartment for $1000 a month, and my annual income is 40k?
No. Sadly
