Hi Rebecca, it made me smile so much when I heard you say 'nowt'. It reminds me of my nana who's originally from Lancaster, she's been in the wirral for over 50 years now and she still has her accent It's only when the extended family come down do we realise how much its toned down.
Even now she'll come out with a word or a phrase and we'll all be shaking our heads trying to figure out what she's on about, she told us once that her mum would shout at them if they ever said the word water without the T.

The kitchen nightmare continues. They started on the 2nd Oct and it's now the 21st .. we still do not have a working kitchen and I am still in a lot of pain.. I just want it finished now 😢

We had a shower attachment that went on the taps. The problem was that due to the shape of the taps the shower nozzles kept popping off. In the end dad got some strong string & tied them on which worked a treat . . . . no more sudden blasts of hot or cold water 😂😂😂
Hi Rebecca, greetings from a dark, dull, extremely stormy Ireland, definitely a day for the fire and diamond painting. Regarding the Christmas painting, Timeless Traditions, from Dreamer Designs, well SNAP, I ordered it yesterday. I saw it when Kim put it up in the group but didn't have time to look at it properly, then it came up yesterday on my e-mail as a new release and I knew that I just had to have it, it's gorgeous 😍 It'll probably be two or three weeks before it gets here but the minute it's delivered I know I'm going to kit it up straightaway, anything else that I'm doing will just have to be put on hold 😁. Thank you for another great WIP and Waffle.

Hey everyone, it has been a while, we had my hubby's aunt and uncle stay with us for a month which kept us busy. Didn't have any time to diamond painting which was very hard. But on the plus side hubby bought me a light pad as it was on special buys in Aldi. And I finally had a chance to try it and love it.

About the glue dot, that someone asked: I’ve been using it for more than 6 months now and really prefer it to both wax and putty. But this afternoon, after changing an old not sticking one for a new, for some reason the new decided not to stick to the pen tip! I use the metal tips from DAC, never had a problem, use your glue dots (from Add More Zest), never had a problem, changed dots many times… never had a problem. This afternoon… “something” didn’t want me to diamond paint, I guess, because the new dots (yes, plural) wouldn’t stay in the pen if my life depended on it 😅😂 If I was trying these for the first time, I would certainly give up and think peeps who recommended them were messing with the others! By the way, about 4 hrs later, a “dot” cut from a used piece of double sided tape (that I use in multiplacers) is finally working like a charm. Go figure!!
Megan is quilting too? I know one of your other daughters took the quilt class with you. How did Megan get the quilting bug?
Hi Rebecca , well I went and did it . I fell and scraped my right hand , knee and elbow . So I haven't been able to work on my pumpkin dragon for days . But it is whispering to me ! Just not able to use my right hand to hold the pen . Minor infection in the hand . So yeah I have done a lot of moaning and groaning lol !
