I am finally back! Am so ready for this summer to be over. Video card on computer went out, dropped monitor when trying to move it to work on computer, found out Dad's cancer is now in his bones, and just found out this weekend that my daughter in law is having major liver issues and in the hospital.
The only good thing to happen this summer is the birth of a beautiful new grand daughter. Thank heaven for diamond painting . Edit- Forgot to mention we also had two tornados within minutes of each other that touched down a little over a mile from our house. They tore the roof off the highschool for our county and damaged several homes.
Needed to hear the discussion about grieving. I am finding this year really hard to deal with. I lost my Dad earlier in the year and my beautiful dog a few weeks ago. My logical brain is struggling with the fact that I am just not reacting the way I expected I would. I try to, but am, in the background, when my door shuts, just not dealing with it all very well.. but there’s a part of me that knows that actually that’s ok… Diamond painting gives me focus, and something to do when I wake up in the small hours, and your videos are some of the best at helping me cope in those moments, Rebecca, so thank you. 🙏
I grew up with a bathroom with a claw foot tub and no shower. We would rinse the shampoo out of our hair using an old tin pitcher. Such elegance. 😂 Before I went in to take a bath I would ask everyone (parents and step siblings) if they needed the bathroom. Always heard no…but within 15 minutes my irritating step brother would say he needed to use the toilet. I tried to ignore him but then my dad would bellow “Kimmy, get out of the tub so he can use the toilet.” Irritates me to this day remembering that and it was 40 years ago. 🙄 I did LOVE that tub though. You can really relax in a claw foot tub. 🛁
My grandparents had a clawfoot tub. I loved bathing in it! It was so deep that we could swim from, end to end . (Until we grew a little older and filled up the tub more.)

Yesterday we waited 12 hours for a 111 call back 😮
We had an outside loo till I was 11 yrs old. Dad used to light a small paraffin lamp in there during winter to stop it freezing 😂 Our bath was a tin one that hung in the garden snd was brought into the kitchen once a week for all out baths 😮 It was a dream come true when we moved into a maisonette with indoor bath, loo and central heating 😂
The stress of the kitchen refit has taken its toll on my fibromyalgia amongst other things.. but I just keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end 😊🥰💚
My great grandparents had an outhouse. I had never been to their home until my great grandfather died. There were so many people at their house before and after the funeral. So even though there was an indoor bathroom by then (1960) my Mom took my sister and me to the outhouse. I was horrified to learn that it was a two-seater. But there were no stalls separating the two holes. So there we were, cheek to cheek. I still remember the awful smell!

Hi Rebecca, I place also wrong drill on different place, I work up-side down start from left side downstairs in till the middle every time and turn to right-up for the bottom up every time. ❤❤
Hi Rebecca, love your work. You know how your hand was sticking to the glue all the time? Just a little trick I do, I put cover paper there as it's easy to move as I move across the canvas. 😊 Happy Diamond Painting 🎉
Looking forward to the mini painting set for your event. I’ll do my advent 15 x 15cm painting for it too. I’ve still got last year’s event kit to do plus Zesty wolf. Last year’s event painting was kitted up and prepped alongside your video so I will probably do that one for DAS’s November event. I’ll have a long run up for Christmas but that’s not a bad thing! Loving the colours to Colourful Kooka. x

I have placed lots of the wrong colours on a cheap snowman painting as it was one i was doing with my grandson whi was 4 at the time and wanted his snowman with red,green,blue,gold and any other colour he wanted. 😂😂 he is very cute. ❤❤❤
On a confetti heavy section or whole painting if I miss one or two and the color I am working with looks similar I put the color I am using right down and don’t look back. Lol
Rebecca! Stop Spilling Drills! When you spilled them on Thursday WIP and Waffle my mega tray did a backflip on the floor and then you spill drills in ths video and it happened AGAIN! You are jinxing me! All jokes of course, love your videos! And this picture looks like ti will be so pretty when its done
Hi Rebecca. Hope all is well with you and your family. I have only intentionally put the wrong colour in the wrong place on a diamond painting because the random colour they put looked so out of place I needed to change and it looks better.
Hello! I wanted to say I love your idea for the diamond paintings. I love your creativity every year!
They just aren't for me, so I won't be ordering this year. So I have a puppy Christmas painting I will do for the advent event this year. I will probably do what I usually do and just split it in my normal sections and once it's done move on to another WIP.
As of today 6 October, my dogs Bladder Cancer Surgery it tomorrow. I'm a bucket of nerves. I know he's a strong boy. I have 100% faith in our vet. But last year when he had the same surgery he had a very rough recovery so I'm just hoping for a better recovery this time. Any healing thoughts welcome.
to the person talking about paintgem symbols on mystery kits i think they did hear you because i had that same issue with my Mystery 3 set but i got my friend the mystery 3 set when it restocked and she didnt have the 2 similar symbols in hers one was replaced with an umbrella. sp i think that PaintGem got enough people complaining about to make that change.
Hi Rebecca, I hope your Christmas event goes well I probably won't be joining you with the diamond paintings this year as everything is still very much up in the air. I am currently working on two small 30 x 30 cm canvases which will be Christmas gifts for my great neices. They are both the same, an angel with a black background . I am trying to make them differ by adding my own colours in the wings. I have dug my way into my spare drills so it will be intresting to work on these.

hi Rebecca. My name is Bogga and im on your fb group. I sometimes put a wrong diamond on the wrong symbol if its the last one in a section and im not in the mood to diamond paint anymore. I wanted to say thank you for all you do. At the moment i am struggling to finish a Chelsea painting for my husband but i have been using the days to nap instead of diamond paint since i am 35weeks pregnant and have young ones at home. My kids are 3 and 1 but they go kindergarten in the day so i have time to nap. I've been sick this pregnancy and struggling with my health where i almost died in august from blood loss that the doctors can't find an explanation for. Your videos helped a lot when i got lonely in the hospital and in the nights i struggled to sleep so again thank you!
Ladydax :) I go to audiology for my ears as I’ve been deaf since birth. I would contact audiology explain that you are really struggling! Or speak to your GP to see if you can get an an urgent appointment just explain how bad things are for you.
I go for microsuctioning as my ears get full of wax which is very annoying as it makes me even more deaf than I already am! 😂
I hate saying pardon and you what all the time 😂 I kill two birds with one stone (not literally) and I get my hearing aid tubes sorted in the same appointment! The things we have to go through to help us! Good luck with getting a more urgent appointment xx
Hello Rebecca , well another year I will be unable to purchase the advent collection this year . I have had three large amounts of payments going out from July to end of October. Then I end up playing catch-up from November onwards. No more get caught up and then it's time to do it again . However come July 2025 I will finally pay off my car . Can't wait. It will give me almost 400 hundred to put on my personal lian to get it down .
