- The ALL NEW Mercedes Benz GLB 250 is finally here, and it wants to dominate the luxury compact SUV scene. Under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 that is producing 221 HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It's exterior has more of a boxier appearance than the GLA & GLC. On the inside you have all of the new tech from Mercedes Benz including two optional 10.25in screens for the dash. Is the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLB 250

We looked at it at the dealer’s. I can’t believe how roomy it is given the size. We have a senior -my mom, and I can see her getting in and out of the 2nd row very easily and fitting her mobility scooter in the back with extra space for shopping bags. Plus I like the 3rd row seat option. I’m not really interested in the leather stuff, but it’s definitely a contender for me. Currently in the market for a new lease since mine is ending in May.

Nice work Captain Content !! This GLB is a real head scratcher for me and to think they offer this thing with a 3rd row. This car is simply not needed at all. It reminds me of my old GLK so I do like the boxy look but I will not be running out to grab this thing. Keep it going Joe !!
I love how the dash and touchscreen radio, are attached like that and I would love to see more of them inside vehicles.
Unfortunately that about the only good thing about this car. Non having full leather and FWD/understeer etc... is not exceptable at 51K
Ventilated seats are an option with different leather. You can see that by the blank button on the door where it would be. This particular model had the Alcantara seat inserts which won't get ventilation as an option. Ergo, don't zonk it if it's an option, or could not have been optioned with it to begin with.
Hello Joe, I have a question for you. When you were test driving the GLB, did you hear any whistling noise coming out of the A/C when you were accelerating? Maybe on the highway? Thanks, Hope to hear from you

I noticed that as well- a bit Honda like in the rear.
Not just an ordinary 8 speed automatic. It's actually a Dual Clutch 8 speed transmission. With 4 drive modes. Good and useful info you missed on. Great feature especially on a sporty luxury suv starting at 36k.

I have a 2021 almost the same color. I have all the options, fully loaded ,yes l enjoy driving it sometimes I get a little gutsy because I had the G L S 450 before wich is quite a bit bigger ,parking is much easier because of the size. But l love the Mercedes ,all of them .

Nice review on the exterior and drive. I was hoping to get a better look at the console, tho. When a vehicle has an unusual cockpit, that should be focused on. I can't see the shifter in any of the stock pictures, and you just said you didn't really like it, but didn't really show it or the mouse pad where one would expect the shifter to be. Just something to consider in future videos.

This vs 2020 GLC 300? Glc is a bit faster 0-60, a little wider and tad longer, but glb is taller. Glc likely has fewer rattles etc. which would you get?

I literally just spent a good 3 minutes counting spokes on those rims. He said 10, but I counted 13, which seems like a weird spoke count.
I love Raiti's Rides. He kills it in every video. Where are the car designers? They need to like and subscribe ASAP and get schooled on the rear wiper! Raiti is 100% on about zonking them on every video.

Kirit Chandran I drove the glb today and own the glc hybrid 2019. It is a very similar drive. I would buy the glb for sure. I also own Bmw and if you. BUy a sedan buy the 330i or the coming plug in hybrid. SUV wise Mercedes wins in quality and styling especially with the new infotainment systems. Bmw is still easier to use on their new 330 series

Hey guys would you recommend a base model 2020 mazda 6 or base model 2020 sonata, Im leaning towards the mazda for the made in japan
I would prefer the Mazda 6. Looks nicer and will handle better. They have better road manners and its bullet proof. But if you can, spring for the 2.5 turbo. But the regular 2.5 still does well enough. Sonata will have a better warranty if that is important to you. Both are nice cars. I'd test drive both if I were you.
The sonata is going to be more well equipped at the base level, but the ride of the Mazda 6 is more refined and the interior materials are more upscale
I'm going to test drive one of these bay-bies tomorrow.

So it looks like, at least in the USA, there will be no GLB AMG series? I know there’s an AMG package you can add… But I want the engine that comes with the AMG
I think the exhausts are like that because they’re giving you the option to customize it but I understand most people it should be standard

@@Telvincomehn True Audi has great interiors. Mercedes problems are with their interior panels, which creaks like an econobox when you push on them

Why don't you reviewers do a stock vehicle. This MB says it has a base price of 37K next thing you know your showing a 50k plus vehicle. Lets keep it real just sayin I would like to see what you get for 37k.
The content creators don't have a choice. The dealers aren't trying to sell base models.

Jyorhan Greene you may do better to get it when they put it on lease special. Outright owning a used vehicle is a costly mistake in these days of rapid vehicle development. If you do t like a car you can easily give it back after lease. If you like it you can buy it after the lease. You will also get huge incentives upgrading an expired lease but your timing needs to be right and you have to shop on the internet and make your first contact through the internet. Also. The tax aspect with a lease is nice because you pay tax on the part that you use and doesn’t take a huge loss when you sell the vehicle

I have been trying to figure out its purpose and place. Is a small off roader? But it is front wheel biased. Perhaps it is something to compete with the X1. Would love to see a comparison between the GLC, GLB, X3, and RDX. I see comparisons among the Germans , and. Amongst the JApanese. How about Germans vs Japanese for a change?

utubepin0 i currently have a glk350 and I am purchasing the glb250. As a loaner until my 250 is ready they have given me a glc300 2019. If you want more room and the upgrades check out the 250. It is leaps and bounds over the glc.

DG hi, I am in love with the glb. I really liked to boxy body of the glk and was worried I would miss it. The glb has impressed me, and the engine is not a disappointment. It actually caught me off guard, it has a lot of get up and go. Impressive styling and runs smoothly.

DG my glk had over 200k miles and I have a long daily commute. I decided it was rime to go a bit newer and enjoy some new technology as well.
For $50,000 give me a Dora Explorer ST with 400 turbo charged horses.!! Although I've heard they've been having some issues with the new Explorer's.
Love the look of it but it's missing a few key features that it should have, like cooled seats.
