Some awesome items in this video! The TPMS and surge protector… 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing this. As someone who is planning a RV purchase and hitting the road, your videos have been very much appreciated and helpful.
Our pleasure. Glad it was helpful! - MJ
Thanks for updating my shopping list... :) Just guessing here but I believe you guys are really in love with your Liquid Springs. lol. Hoping for an air compressor for Christmas
LS is the best suspension available on the market. Just our opinion and yes we love it
My biggest upgrade was 4 battle born batteries, 3000 watt victron inverter, solar controller, easy start a/c, battery monitor and two control panels in 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter motor home, did most of the work myself, somewhere around $10,000.
Wow awesome thanks for sharing
Same for me and now I’m set to dry camp. If that’s not your thing GC batteries are great.
We love our TPMS just wish ours would show in our truck dashboard and not just our rv or cell system after we open up the app. Came free with the rig so lesson learned. Thought about a tankless water heater but want one that can switch between electric or propane. Haven't found one yet. Thanks for sharing all the other items!
Tankless water heaters are to energy hungry for electric on RV. They will only run on propane. With that said once you get one it’s hard to go back!!
It's ERV marathon night! Great stuff. Like the safety and compactness of it. Love Izzy's shirt, had to put my sunglasses on too.
Just subscribed to The Pitbull Adventures of Sierra and Bowser. Lucy says woof woof!
Thanks!
My sinuses have thanked me everyday since we bought the electric dehumidifier!!! OMGosh!!! Best buy ever!!! We full-time. We were in Virginia during winter. We run it during winter as well. It has a set humidity level that it cuts on and off with which is 30%. When showering, it helps because it cuts on and then cuts off when needed. The best EVER!!! Tip for you though. We use the water for our black tank. We just pour the water into the toilet. Helps with dilution. We have to empty the dehumidifier about every other day at the very least. Conserve the tap faucet water.
We are going to be investing in a TPMS soon.
Thanks for the tip. Make sure to use our discount code for the TPMS and save some $! Thanks for watching Melendy! - MJ
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge & experience. I appreciate it very much. I love how open you are with everything, even if it isn't all roses. I need to research a TPMS for our C class.
We appreciate that! Thank you! 😃
Great video with awesome ideas for luxury upgrades. We did get the dehumidifier after seeing the review last year. Love our Tire Minder!! We don’t have the viair, yet, I’m thinking about that one. It would take up less space then the pancake air compressor that we carry now. Thanks !!
The Viair is great. Definitely saves space in the bays. Thanks for watching guys
You must have the Viair compressor for when your TPMS system finds a low air tire. We had a valve stem start to loosen so we tightened it up and then aired up the tire.
👍
This was like window shopping for us.
Lou & Angie
LOL thanks for watching and the comment
Awesome video MJ and Izzy!
Thanks Rockey
I love this video Izzy and MJ! These are very great items to have and get. I love that one called Beddy. That looks so comfy to use for your bedding. Thank you so much. Hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks Sherri
All good stuff guys, I have the Viair 450P-RV by far the best portable 12-volt compressor that I have owned. Love my Power Watchdog, and my Hughes Autoformers voltage regulator, the internal components, replaceable surge module, their design that Power Watchdog uses to mitigate vibration is second to none.
Awesome thanks for sharing John.
Collision mitigation system, 360 view are must have;s. Had those installed on our 2016 bus our new bus it is standard equipment. Very expensive upgrades but worth every dime
Thanks for sharing Lee
I do the same with our dehumidifier. Sadly youre the second person I've heard do this. Keeping humidity out during storage is SOOOOO important
Also forgot to mention! I put a Damp Rid bag in each of the storage bays. Kinda expensive, but keeps those bays bone dry. Worth it if you ask me, nice not having moisture in your basement!
Another great video and explanation of items.
With your addition of the Liquid Spring system what did you do with all of the equipment you installed before?
Most of the equipment sold. The sumo springs are still for sale.
What are you asking for them?
@@kerwinmcnamara3815 $550 for front and rear shipped to lower 48
For me I love the TPMS, the Air Compressor and we have them both. This is just our second year in our used Dutch Star and after having to pull everything out of my second pass through Bay last year I installed my very favorite accessory, A Moreryde Pull out Tray. I now have both Pass Throughs with full extension trays. What a difference it has made in my life! But I must say this year’s travels just started on May 4th and we will be on the road until mid September covering as much of the US as we can see and the Internet at this park in Idaho is Spotty at best so of course I’m kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on that option. The biggest obstacle for us was the monthly service fee because we weren’t sure how much we would use it. Well, no Netflix or Amazon Prime without dropouts so far and we’ll be here through May so I watch allot of RUclips at night. 😁. I’ll pick your brain at the Meet Up! 😂
LOL You got it! Have a wonderful trip- sounds fun! - MJ
I have the same air compressor which I love. I purchased it after sending back the tire minder which took all the out air of 2 of my tires and just gave me problems all around. I did get the tireminder on discount with your code but had to send it back. I'm very happy with the TPMS system that's on my dashboard That comes with the Ford. It tells me my tire pressures and warns me if there low. Obviously not as good as a TPMS system Like tire minder that's working. But good enough. Thanks, love you guys.
Sorry to hear about the Tireminder and thanks for watching.
The Vialr compressor is worth it to me. Many say their diesel pusher has a connection to air up tires but 1, the motorhome has to be running, and 2, it takes forever to get to.over 100 psi which you may need. It's not which TPS you get as long as it monitors and alarms tire temperature as well.
Yes, the Viair is awesome. Thanks for your thoughts Roy!
Hello I liked you guys not only because we have a 2019 3014 Bay Star. We love it.
Thru the years of your experience what is the top list of upgrades in order - is liquid spring a number 1
We have the other basics you have listed but now looking for a smoother ride
Thank you
Your favorite fan
Peter (Parker)
You won’t regret LS upgrade
If you charge your tires with nitrogen they will run cooler and hold pressure longer than compressed air. This is used by airlines and major aircraft manufacturing companies, like Boeing.
👍
Always enjoys the vids guys...I found myself laughing a couple of times! Great reference vid for our next (Gen2) RV. Our Fleetwood Southwind 34A is our "test the water" rig. If all goes well, a pre-owned DP will be highly considered for longer term ownership. We just got a Jeep Wrangler toad, so a TPMS is a must, not just an upgrade! Hope you are going well MJ...all the best!
Awesome! Good luck and thank you. 😀 - MJ
Have you ever had or heard about tpms wheel sensors being stolen? I'm close to purchasing and was wondering if there are any tips to reduce the risk. As for the anti theft locking nuts that the provide, i see potential problems removing the caps when airing up due to valve stem placement.
Anything can be stolen if a thief has a reason to steal them. The locking nuts help. The safety factor far outweighs the potential for theft in our opinion. Thanks for watching and the comment.
You are a professional driver. Our surge protector is probably our most expensive item and it’s already saved us once at home. We do have a TPMS which we use on our SUV when we’re not using the RV and will switch it to the RV.
Thanks for sharing
HAHA.... I have the same argument with my husband every year.... 'DON'T BUY STUFF BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!'
I didn’t this year 😉
@@EndlessRVing that's good. We don't have an RV, yet. But we have a boat and it's fun upgrading. (and expensive)
I have a question about your dehumidifier. Approximately how tall is yours? I bought one off Amazon it was so tiny it didn't work I sent it back. I don't want one 2.5 ft tall that is huge like you use in your basement of your house?
25 pints or greater is what we recommend. We linked one in the video description
Can you use TPMS with valve extenders like the back inside tires?
Yes
Hi MJ & Izzy,,I was wondering if the liquid spring changes or reduces your carrying capacity to the RV?
Thanks
4 corner system is an increase of approx 600 lbs over stock
Have you had to descale trauma heater yet?
Yes we have
?? On your Beddys which did you get cotton, minky or luxe line? Thanks, have been wanting but afraid it will be TOOOOO hot for us, we only sleep with a sheet here (Maui) and generally kick that off. So it’s definitely cotton but reading reviews the luxe line sounds more comfortable????
We like the minky
All good accessories, MJ and Izzy! Our most expensive RV upgrade? The RV itself! Agree about the VIAIR compressor, which I focused in on after some research, it appears to be one of, if not the best, portable air compressors on the market. I consider an air compressor in an RV to be an essential item.
BTW, at the last minute we decided to throw caution to the wind and departed on our RV trip to Asheville, NC, where we are camped now. So far no problems finding fuel. We tour the Biltmore "Gardens in Bloom" on Sunday. Our biggest problem has been the incredibly inconsistent GPS in our Jeep Wrangler, it has been wrong nearly as often as it has been right, and it frequently gets confused. One reason I still like to have paper maps!
Glad you enjoying your trip. As for GPS just use google maps or waze. Both free and pretty accurate.
Is there a link for the truma tankless water heater? Thanks
truma.net/
Thanks to both of you! Great tips! We still don't have our new class A. Does Liquid Spring have a setup for a D.P? Absolutely have to have a tire pressure system. Thanks again for your tips! SAFE TRAVELS
Thanks Ron. LS does not have a DP setup yet. Stay tuned.
You forgot the most expensive and all important item. THE RV.
Well, of course! lol
