Saw them live about a month ago. Her rendition of Sweet Child O Mine blew me away. It was the 2nd song of the night, and I already knew it was the highlight.
I enjoyed this a lot! It takes on a whole different vibe when Miche sings it. It's like she's you're sassy grandma putting someone who did her family wrong in their place. Right from the beginning, I hear more than what she's saying: "You see, I only wanted one time to see you laughing; you understand?" she sounds sympathetic and like she's handing out discipline all at once, and her body language helps that along, too. It's as powerful as any sermon and holds a different kind of emotion.
In the climate today: this is needed. When we come together as individuals of character, with differing skills, different pasts and experience, with mutual respect; awesome can happen.
