I was told to boil the tire for a spell 15 to 20 mins to soften tire up

Yes allot of people do this. It makes it easier to stretch the tire over the rim.

Yes took me about 5 mins to change both tires also without detaching motor

Would it be just as easy to add pneumatic tires? I feel the ride is way too rough compared to it's sister model the Hover-1 blackhawk and would like to know if would be possible to change out the ones on the X8

Hi Michael, yes of course. Both X7 and X8 scooters come standard with pneumatic tires. We do have them available and in stock if you wanted to make the change.
