The bones are metaphors for the relationship that just broke. She left him. "I went through the jewelry and found our wedding rings, I put mine on my finger, and I GAVE YOURS A FLING." "I'm resurrecting memories of our recent broken home/a love that's dead and gone."

This video was before the stroke, I wish he was able to sing to this level after the stroke. He can sing a line or two now but nothing like in this video, the stroke robbed everyone of his wonderful voice. Just glad he survived.

This song was written by Paul Overstreet, who wrote a lot of music for Randy Travis. He has his own recording career, check out 'My Father in Me' and 'Daddy's Come around to Mama's way of thinking '
Randy Travis check out 'Deeper than the Holler,' and 'I told you so.'
John Anderson ' straight tequila night,' and ' just a swinging'
