Lol This is a fun story. Some. More favorite Blake songs are "I'll Name The Dogs" "Honey Bee" and "Some Beach" and another great music video that is more like a movie that you forget to listen is "Beer For My Horses" Toby Keith and Willie Nelson. I don't think yall have done any Toby Keith but he has a bunch of great song that yall would like!
As a 9-1-1 dispatcher (the first of the first responders), that's pretty cool to have a first responders bourbon! And Keith, you are correct. There is no national 10 code system (other than 10-4). My agency and others in the DC area went to plain language because of that (started plain language after 9/11 because local agencies couldn't easily talk to one another using 10 codes while responding to the Pentagon). As for the song, this one is one of my favorite Blake songs. You'd also like The Baby and Austin. Both great story songs. #IAm911
Here’s a few more good ones from Blake: Goodbye Time (cover of a Conway song), The Baby, Austin, Every time I Hear That Song, She Wouldn’t Be Gone, Nobody But Me, Don’t Make Me, Granddaddy’s Gun, She’s Got A Way With Words, and Who Are You When I’m Not Looking. Here’s some just fun ones: Some Beach, The More I Drink, Hillbilly Bone, Boys ‘Round Here,
This is Blake's 2nd song and second video. Ol' Red is my favorite of his songs. I do like God's Country. Since y'all are metal guys go check out State of Mine's cover of God's Country. It's awesome! I really liked the response y'all gave the song. This is one of those song you listen to when you're ticked off at your SO and just need to drive and remind yourself murder is bad mmmkay. Thanks for the great reaction. Bourbon: it's beautiful but for the cost, I could buy several new pairs of shoes😁
Thank you Guys! I feel Blake’s vocals are underrated. One of my favorites is his duet with Ashley Monroe (Piston Annies): Lonely Tonight. His vocals with her strong Bluegrass sound is amazing!
"Ol' Red" was written by James "Bo" Bohan, Don Goodman and Mark Sherrill, and was originally recorded by George Jones on his 1990 album You Oughta Be Here with Me. It was later covered by Kenny Rogers on his 1993 album If Only My Heart Had a Voice.
a great story song by Blake is Austin, this song and austin are the two songs i like the most on his first album "Ol' Red" i know originaly bij kenny rogers..... and Dustin i think you will like Chris Stapleton Maggie's Song
Very good song. Definitely recommend these songs by Blake. Austin, God Gave Me You, Hell Right, Hillbilly Bone, Kiss My Country Ass, Some Beach, The Baby, The More I Drink, All About Tonight, She Wouldn't Be Gone, Home, I'll Name The Dogs, Doin' What She Likes, Who Are You When I'm Not Looking, and Minimum Wage.
You can hear Blake mature with his music. That's for sure. This is still one of my favorites by him and it was his first hit. Dustin: should definitely checkout Home Free "Workin for A Livin" for his harmonica fix. Also Carrie Underwood's Live performance of "Chocktaw County Affair" (Carrie Plays harmonica...)
I'm sitting here laughing at the fact that you guys didn't realize this is one of Blake's earliest songs and he was much younger in this video lol but it is indeed him.
I didn't discover it until a few years ago, but this song was originally done by George Jones. And Blake's other hit around this time called "Goodbye Time" was originally done by Conway Twitty. I didn't discover that until recently either. Love both of those songs.
One of my favorites. Blake is one of those great singers that is consistent. He has some of the greatest storytelling songs. There's a video of him, from earlier this year, bringing a young six-year-old on stage with him. The little boy is a huge Blake fan and is awaiting a heart transplant. Blake kneels down and sings "God's Country" with him. You can't watch it without getting emotional. I suggest "Austin" and he has a great duet with Christina Aguilera called "Just A Fool" and he sings the song "Footloose" from the 2011 remake of Footloose and he does a damn good job. The remake of the movie itself doesn't match the original but the highlight is most certainly Blake. (Some people might like the 2011 remake better, I'm just really critical of remakes of movies that don't need to be remade.) Montgomery Gentry "Hell Yeah" and "Some People Change" Terri Clark "She Didn't Have Time" and "Girls Lie To" which has a really fun video. Kenny Rogers "Lady" and his duet with Dolly "Island In The Stream"
That was not an actor singing that was Blake Shelton back in his early days when he had the longer hair. 😂 Great song! You should check out Kenny Rogers"The Greatest". It's a cute song. 😊
Thank you. This is one of my favorites. It’s just the type of song needed to bring a smile, and perfect to react to in-between the more emotional ones you react to.
This was the first song that I heard from Blake and I became an instant fan. He went on to win CMA Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year a few times since then. I believe that he holds a record for having each consecutive single that he released going to number one at 13 or 14, I'm not sure, I lost count. He does pick a wide range a material to record from comedic, to serious, to love songs. If you want to get a different taste of the type of songs he has produced I would highly recommend his song 'Sangria'. ✌
I'm SO excited that you guys finally did this one. It's one of Blake's classics - and most popular. I have to request Austin - it's a ballad and his first single - but it's a great song and story. And also The Baby. It's an incredible story - very emotional - and one of Blake's BEST. Cheers to you both from Canada!
Keith and Dustin, as a die-hard Country music fan, I really appreciate how y’all understand the great stories. All other Reactors miss the mark 90% of the time. Biggest Fan!
before video: why is this just now showing up on my alerts? looking forward to ya'lls reaction! start of video: YES! YOU DID THE VIDEO! end of music part of video: yes, once you realize what's happening with teh blue tick, you can kinda figure out where the song is going. love ya'lls reactions. and yes, this was VERY early in blake's career. another suggestion from that era of Blake is Austin.
There was a certain look for some of the country music artists back when this was made. He looks similar to Joe Nichols in this one. Speaking of Joe Nichols, you guys should listen to The Impossible.
Hahaha you guys are hilarious and awesome 😎 yes that's a younger Blake. The baby is another young Blake song too. It's a pretty deep song. Thanks for the videos please keep um coming. You guys are my favorite RUclipsrs. ❤️
For more story telling from Blake Shelton there is "Austin", "Some Beach", "The Baby" (one for the feels)... If someone can help with the name of the song with the video filmed at/around a lighthouse... can seem to open the file draw... ;/
I love when Country Music gives you a good Lyrical Musical Motif. Not as big of a punch as songs like “don’t take the girl” or “there goes my life”, but the lyric “Ol’ Reds itching to have a little fun” definitely applies. Lol.
One of my son’s college instructors, drove an Ambulance. One night a drunk guy was in the back. He asked is he was going to die. My son’s instructor said no and then proceeded to play the song Another One Bites The Dust!
I’ve got a suggestion to Dustin’s harmonica weakness and both of your adoration for Carrie’s voice. Choctaw County Affair, amazing story, Carrie played harmonica on it, and it’s my second favorite of her songs, ranking just behind Spinning Bottles(which is another good listen if you’re in the mood for a story in a ballad).
Blake back in his hair days. Keith being a racer I was surprised you didn't notice the cousin was played by Elliot Sadler a former NASCAR Cup driver from Virgina. Another great reaction from you guys. Some other songs from him in his hair days is This is Austin or Some Beach.
I've never been a NASCAR fan. I've started watching more of it recently since they've added road courses to the calendar. But I'm an F1, Indy, IMSA fan. Don't like circle-tracks. - Keith
This is a young Blake Shelton.. Blake Shelton - Some Beach - y'all would really like this song! Honey Bee - this song has pretty good guitar rips in it and a pretty darn good song!
Way to go guys, another great song and one of my favorite reactions yet. I would like to suggest another story telling song again. "I Watched It All On My Radio" by Lionel Cartwright will take you back to your childhood. Thanks again. Keep up the awesome videos.
Blake is sooo country but he is a rocker too! He mixes rock in his concerts. Please add to your list his songs The More I Drink and the live version of Its All About Tonight. He also did remake of Footloose! Love his music ❤

Yes, that was Blake…long ago!
Blake’s early stuff is great 🙂 this and “Austin” are two of his best.
100% Also let's not forget Some Beach...lol
@@Iggyzgirl If you did not bring that one up, I would have. :)
@@Iggyzgirl The more I drink by Blake and Kiss My Country A$$ is two other good songs by Blake lol
I love Austin
Goodbye Time is one of my favorites.
If you are NASCAR fans, the cousin was former driver Elliott Sadler. Elliott is also in his “Some Beach” video too.
Yeah that’s Blake, he was very young….one of his first hit songs 😂
Austin is another great storytelling song by Blake but The Baby is my fave by him
Mine too!!!!!!!!
its old school long haired Blake Shelton!! This is one of my all time favorite songs
Blake has bars he has opened that he named Ole Red.
Early Blake!!! That IS Blake singing!!!
Also, Blake has a restaurant, live music venue in Nashville named Ole Red, after this song. Great idea about the for the bourbon.
This song was Blake’s early number one hits. “God’s country” is my favorite song from him far as is new music concern. His older stuff is awesome
🙌🏻 Same
Gotta give credit where it is due…Hardy wrote God’s Country
That is indeed Blake. Young Blake with the long curly hair rather than his short hair that he has now.
Definitely need Some Beach!!
Yes, that's Blake. When he first got big he had long curly hair. This was from the very early 2000's.

it was Blake, but it was also over 20 years ago. He looks better now....I cracked up the first time I heard this one

Definitely The Baby and Austin!
This song was a cover of George Jones.

lol, "Murder is bad. Usually." FIFY.
Thank you Guys! I feel Blake’s vocals are underrated. One of my favorites is his duet with Ashley Monroe (Piston Annies): Lonely Tonight. His vocals with her strong Bluegrass sound is amazing!
Austin and the baby by him are good too. Younger Blake is amazing he adapted to the change in style through the times
Awesome reaction! This is the Blake song that got us listening to him. I also love 'Austin., but this is my husband's favorite.
That is Blake Shelton. This is one of his early songs, he used to have long hair early in his career.
I love the harmonica in this one. Your smiles were great.
It was great. Really set the tone for the song. - Keith
a great story song by Blake is Austin, this song and austin are the two songs i like the most on his first album "Ol' Red" i know originaly bij kenny rogers..... and Dustin i think you will like Chris Stapleton Maggie's Song
It's a young Blake before he cut his hair, Some Beach is one of my all time faves of his
Very good song. Definitely recommend these songs by Blake. Young Blake my dudes! ☮️❤️🌻👵🏼

Kenny Rogers "Lady" and his duet with Dolly "Island In The Stream"
Love "Hell Yeah", it's one of those songs that just speaks to you on a particular level...
I ain't gonna argue about him being a good story teller because I like Blake as well, but I'm pretty damn sure this one's a cover.
@ Bourbon Country Reacts you asked for Ranger Creek check your mailbox.
You owe me Dustin, still no clue what your friend was talking about the box one thou
Great reaction yall, another great young Blake song is Austin.
That was not an actor singing that was Blake Shelton back in his early days when he had the longer hair. 😂 Great song! You should check out Kenny Rogers"The Greatest". It's a cute song. 😊
My daughter and I crank up the radio to this! That is him earlier on in his career!
This is baby Blake!!!
The long haired dude is actually Blake Shelton. This is early in his career
It confused us. - Keith
Thank you. This is one of my favorites. It’s just the type of song needed to bring a smile, and perfect to react to in-between the more emotional ones you react to.
Thanks for watching!

That sounds like Miranda lambert singing background vocals

Shhh Jeannie don't warn them about The Baby, it is gonna be a bribe video
I vote for Austin, too!
Austin was definitely the first one I fell in love with .
I’m with Austin vote
Adding a vote for Austin. Every woman on Earth wants someone to feel that for her.
A 'very' young Blake Sheldon. I love this one! Thanks, guys!
Thanks for watching!
This is one of my fav Blake Shelton tunes. Please add votes to the following
Scotty McCreery-Five more minutes
Brad Paisley - He didn’t have to be
Thank you, you got to my request so fast!
Blake's early stuff was really good. "Austin" and "Some Beach" are good ones.
Dustin looked like he enjoyed this song! This is one of Blake’s first songs.
Blake was early twenties here, so maybe 20+ yrs ago. His hair was gorgeous. The grey hair is pretty nice too…
One of my favorite songs 🙌🏻 along with Kiss my country a**
This is young Blake. He has a set a bars named after this song too.
Keith and Dustin, as a die-hard Country music fan, I really appreciate how y’all understand the great stories. All other Reactors miss the mark 90% of the time. Biggest Fan!
We do try to wrap our heads around the songs as best we can. - Keith
Young Blake is definitely my choice over old/now Blake! Those early songs were awesome!
I don't think we've heard enough to make that call for ourselves. - Keith
Damn Blake was hot af with all that hair!!
Blake Sheltons Come back as a country boy is an awesome song and video
Love Blake, young and old. Have to react to The Baby by Shelton.
Blake is one of my favorite country music artists. I love his old and his new. And he is just an all around great guy.

I think I got a couple Blake Shelton bribes coming up he,he,he,he,he
He was young back then just a young Blake.
Love Blake. My favorite song of his is Austin. His first big hit
Hahaha you guys are hilarious and awesome 😎 yes that's a younger Blake. The baby is another young Blake song too. It's a pretty deep song. Thanks for the videos please keep um coming. You guys are my favorite RUclipsrs. ❤️
YESSSS! Great song!😆
I'm NOT a Blake Shelton fan but I like this song. 👍
That's a young Blake Shelton
Great reaction as always. Blake has many great songs my favorites are The Baby and Austin
Great song, awesome. Blake is definitely up there. Great job, I really enjoy watching you two.
Thanks!
My dad used to sing this when I was a little girl...and I'm 65. Gonna go look for the original...
That’s Blake in the video w the long hair !! That was when he first started ..Elliot Sadler (race car driver ) plays his cousin fm TN ..
Great story song! Great video guys! Cheers from Kentucky!
Thanks!

Wonderful

Country music is the best genre for telling a hell of a story
Blake was a lot younger back then! That’s him!
Ol Red is the name of his club, wonder where he came up with that name!!! It's been pretty good for him!!!
This is a young Blake Shelton.. Blake Shelton - Some Beach - y'all would really like this song! Honey Bee - this song has pretty good guitar rips in it and a pretty darn good song!
I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this but, Nascars Elliot Sadler played Blake's cousin.
one I like that goes with this is "Papa loved Mama" by Garth Brooks, feels like they can be part of the same story
Way to go guys, another great song and one of my favorite reactions yet. I would like to suggest another story telling song again. "I Watched It All On My Radio" by Lionel Cartwright will take you back to your childhood. Thanks again. Keep up the awesome videos.
That is Blake!
one on my playlists
Blake Shelton The Baby is a great song
You still need to do “she’s got a way with words” by Blake. Also, try this one by John Denver. “You stomped on my heart”
Another fun older Shelton song is Some Beach. It is really funny.
Blake has alot of great songs
Ranger Creek has a Thin Blue Line Bourbon wish I could send you some. And yes all first responders have a knife on them
This is baby Blake
Blake used to have that big curly mullet when he was younger
Blake is sooo country but he is a rocker too! He mixes rock in his concerts. Please add to your list his songs The More I Drink and the live version of Its All About Tonight. He also did remake of Footloose! Love his music ❤
That is Blake real young
I think the guard that he was thinking was Brad Paisley was actually Chris Cagle. Because that’s what he look like back then.
I love Blake’s music. You should check out Nobody but You and Happy Anywhere. He sings them with his wife.
