Hi Billy. Nice to see you doing well. I met you when I came down to Brady's on the Southside about 30 years ago. Gus Taylor was sitting in for your usual bass player and Carey Bell came in after his set in some Northside club. He sent a friend out to his car to get his big chromatic after loaning him his pistol. You showed me how he played in E flat by pushing in the slide to make it a C sharp Chromatic, which I love doing when I can get someone to play in E flat. LOL. I had to leave early, about 3:30 am, and you stopped the band so you could check out the cab driver who turned out to be a keyboard player by the name of Michael Pryor. Nice guy. I want to thank you for a great evening and so glad to be able to meet two of my favorite harmonica players. Thanks, Ken Miller

Great to see Billy Branch on his home turf. I should have seen him at Rosa's in 2000 but he was sick. Still had a great night, and eventually got to hear him here at a festival in Gaildorf, Germany many years later.
