That's not his main appeal tho. It's that besides his champion attitude he's kind and passionate about the game but the dub makes him look like an asshole.
I do like how Michiru isn't an asshole, like he just enjoys playing the game but his general vibe comes off as snobbish while other people are literally playing their best just to try and reach his level.
Another banger episode, the use of top notch strategy in the game from start to finish and the emotion of defeat after working so hard towards something, it hurts my soul seeing that fall of megumi but what hurt more was michiru's genuine attempt at giving advice being taken as an insult I can feel it and I enjoyed watching this episode :D
you can see why Michiru is the best the series has offered by far, he actually do shit that pros do IRL in VG matches, damage deny according to matchup, early guards, tempo control, and ofc a bit of trigger luck fucker has a gameplan from turn 1 and knows how to capitalize on it at every turn

bruh, Michiru is a pro for a reason, in episode 2 his playstyle was agrresive to counter final rush, today he was legit chilling, giving megumi 1 dmg, until he ride drajewel, then he started whaming her, while barely letting megumi attack to pass through till turn 4.
Idk tho, I think there was some cheating done on his behalf by the animator. There's no way that he's able to spend so many cards on guarding almost every attacks early and still have such a huge hand (with a lot of g0s) on magnolia elder's turn. And, it wasn't like he was holding back on calling rear guards too lol. Also at the end, he never realized that he only won because megumi didn't get a single perfect guard. Megumi got robbed by the plot :(

Notice he also discarded the multiattacker G2 in favor of that other G3 that retires stuff knowing that Megumi likely would've blocked a 4th attack and Magnolia is vulnerable to retiring.

If you play it well, you can grab a win from any kind of match-up with this deck. I seriously think that Drajeweled can become meta.

Actually, about Raika's insert song on episode 3 is kind of trivial, since his VA Ogasawara Jin was the one who is singing it with a different character of another franchise. (More likely an anime band). The VA confirmed himself on his Twitter post.
Michiru is such an interesting character he's always trying to control the tempo of the fight and has actually has a winning image in his head. He reminds me of Zane from Yugioh Gx during his first duel with Jaden

I sorta want to see Raika losing to Taizou next ep since Taizou is built up to be kind of a more important character this season. And it also raises the bar for Yu-yu when he fights Taizou since at 1 win and 1 loss, he is at a precarious situation if he loses again, since I don't see Raika losing against Zakusa. In fact I would see Jingi breaking the rules for Yu-yu's block with 3 players having 2 wins and 1 loss if Yu-yu wins against Taizou.
When they revealed all support it will be a very strong deck. Falcate Performer and Rock Agour are the keys for the deck to function properly. Rystal Galer is a hand replenisher. I also want to know about Power Gem and Matelbara effect.

Ok so this basically confirm my suspicion that all of block C is pointless as tohya is basically destroying them and willing to bet that the Other side character don’t matter. Tch, the revelation today is kinda lackluster. I was hoping for Falcate Performer and Rock Agour. With those 2 cards alone and Drajewelled deck is complete. Rystal Galer is nice, because his skill is no cost, while Power Gem needs cb and very situational. But more or less it boosted the deck a bit
Well that was to be expected, but I do feel bad for Megumi though, all that effort only for her to lose, and to put more salt in the wound Michiru started saying how she would have made him change plans but due to her own actions, everything played out exactly how he wanted, I know he wasn't saying anything mean but he really made Megumi very frustrated just from that alone. Also I just realized that we're halfway through this season but we havent seen a single full match on Block C, I was expecting Tohya vs Himari for Lyrical Monasterio presentation, but no it's a skipfight, now I'm really curious on who would be the other Block C fighter to join the tournament. Also Jinki has some ulterior motives along with Masanori, and a mystery person, wonder who it might be. Next is Taizo and Raika, and I don't know who would win this one, though I do want Raika to lose.
I knew LM wasn't gonna make it past the blocks but I at least would've appreciated if they freaking acknowledged the nation and gave us an animation fight between her and Tohya since they spent the time to keep reminding Tohya to get ready for his next game. I really like the effort the put for changing his play style depending on the opponent and there deck really shows why he’s considered the best.

Tch, the revelation today is kinda lackluster. I was hoping for Falcate Performer and Rock Agour. With those 2 cards alone and Drajewelled deck is complete. Rystal Galer is nice, because his skill is no cost, while Power Gem needs cb and very situational. But more or less it boosted the deck a bit
Well that was to be expected, but I do feel bad for Megumi though, all that effort only for her to lose, and to put more salt in the wound Michiru started saying how she would have made him change plans but due to her own actions, everything played out exactly how he wanted, I know he wasn't saying anything mean but he really made Megumi very frustrated just from that alone.
Also I just realized that we're halfway through this season but we havent seen a single full match on Block C, I was expecting Tohya vs Himari for Lyrical Monasterio presentation, but no it's a skipfight, now I'm really curious on who would be the other Block C fighter to join the tournament. Also Jinki has some ulterior motives along with Masanori, and a mystery person, wonder who it might be.
Next is Taizo and Raika, and I don't know who would win this one, though I do want Raika to lose.
I'm kinda expecting Raika to get his ass handed to him by Michiru.

22:33 as you can see at c block mondo has two wins, since other two dont have any wins 3rd day fight wont change the fact mondo and tohya keeps going.
@@edea_oblige That's what I was thinking too, if Taizo wins against Raika all three of them will be tied and there have to be a tie breaker.
I knew LM wasn't gonna make it past the blocks but I at least would've appreciated if they freaking acknowledged the nation and gave us an animation fight between her and Tohya since they spent the time to keep reminding Tohya to get ready for his next game. Well, whatever we get heroes and bastion for block C
