Its rare to see such a thing in anime but its incredibly realistic. It almost makes you forget that they’re characters with wildly unique hair colors and fleshes out their personalities beyond the game
same here! i personally got giddy from watching that because i love to think over my own deck when i play and my strategy of "what if i did this instead"
I like how Michiru acknowledged the game situations he would lose instead. He basically said I rushed you and I had this good draw that's why I won. Dunno what would happen otherwise.

Real cardfights and awesome dragons. The real Drajeweled is incredible but his support cards are way impressive. I wonder if they keep the power up or if it's continuous. And I totally didn't geek out with the OG opening playing 😅
I really appreciate what their doing using skills actually playing the game vanguard and making you feel like your actually watching them play vanguard announcing skills and guards and even using the nostalgia music this is a season I pray still is as good as the episodes we’ve already seen this season
the Bruce - Drajeweled fight was wild, i hope they do this brawl between the units more often, it was what i enjoyed a lot in seasons 1 and 2 of OverDress
The original op at the end was a welcome surprise and I must say they bombarded us with new characters today huh? The standouts are obviously Urara And Raika with how prominent they are in the op but I’m also interested in Michiru, I haven’t been this excited for new characters since Kazuma back in G.
Okay The opening is soo good, the song the animation, the symbolism it's really great, really pumps me to see what's gonna happen next. So Michiru's personality, I genuinely like him, even though those bangs and eyes make him terryfying at times, he's just a dude who really loves Vanguard and has synthesia, interesting that he and Danji...err Nadatsugu go way back, also Michiru telling him to go check on the tournament, yeah I knew this isn't gonna be your normal tournament arc. So not only did they return the Power counters for this, they also played the 1st Vanguard Opening, which immediately gave me nostalgic vibes, also didn't know that Urara joined Blackout. Also the way Raika acted when he saw Michiru smiling at Yuyu immediately signals "I'm gonna vent all my anger and frustrations at you in the next episode." Now for speculation, I think in the next Episode Yuyu will lose to Raika, since the qualifiers structure is that the all fighters in a block fight a total of 3 times against different opponent in the same block, fighters with 2-3 wins proceed to the tournament, this might give Yuyu some more development, so far the people I speculated to be in the the tournament are: Block A - Yuyu and Raika (because this gives a chance for them to rematch, though that doesn't mean that Taizo is out of the question, the fact that the opening gives him significance and his avatar present in the opening also speaks for itself) Block B - Mirei and Urara Block C - Tohya (only for now since I don't really know about the other characters in Block C) Block D - Michiru and Megumi Overall good episode, it introduces new characters and how the tournament will go down. Hope to see more.
Ah, the nostalgia from hearing the og opening of Vanguard. Urara being a bundle of joy that deserves headpats and Michiru being a rather chill guy. But the tournament? Yeah, Michiru has a good idea on having Danji investigate it. I'm still suspicious of Jinki and his motives behind it. Edit: I just noticed Tohya is dressed like Danji. Kinda says something about him, doesn't it?
Raika death staring Urara whilst she was just trying to get an autograph of Michiru was just so heart thumping but also uncalled for, I wanna protect the girl she just wanted a memory of the encounter >.
Also, overdress has great designs. Loving the new characters. Really wish this show was more popular. I say this as someone who's only watched the 1st season of vanguard - overdress is different, love the slice of life aspects of it.

Th og opening bring back memories I feel nostalgic just from hearing it. If theirs one thing I'll always like about this new gen is the fact it's legit multi age it's not around 10 to 18 at max an this we legit got grown up playing vanguard as a sport on the pro level we even got fighters who's parent (although the guy look young but that's not the point) and that's nice alot of this guys have other jobs outside of vanguard that's they thing that makes this gen shine imo.
