What can I say? I love the internet. I started my search cuz I wanted to hear "Creep" out of the blue. Then I started wanting to more about the guitar player who struck like thunder in that song. Next I moved on to "How to play like Jonny Greenwood," I wanted to know more about his guitar. *Then* I finally Wiki'd him. Mind blown, finding the promise of *real, honest to G-d music*, I find this. Oh joy, oh happy day. Thanks for posting.
Maybe there’s older versions of ourselves out there in the future laughing about how lost we use to be. And knowing that everything turned out just the way we had always dreamed. A front porch, companionship, extraordinary accomplishments behind us, but fixing that minor leak under the sink still feels like a great feat. Clothes with buttons that make a loud sound when you slip them through their holes. Maybe in the future we can still run and play, it just makes the next nights sleep so much more easy. Maybe in the future we turn out just A-okay. 4:37
Супер композитор и музыкант!!! Желаю вам крепкого здоровья, вдохновения, плодотворной работы в вашем музыкальном творчестве, радуйте нас своей музыкой подольше!!! Спасибо!!! :)
This soundtrack was just hypnotic to me. The opening theme 'House of Woodcock' just mesmerized me. I liked Jonny Greenwood's soundtrack for "There Will Be Blood" too.
I hear Bill Evans influence, it’s like an intersection between classical music and jazz to me. Listening to this exquisite piece of art feels like you are witnessing Bill Evans' use of space in “House of Woodcock” (i.e., "Skating In Central Park") with Debussy's lush harmonies, and Ravel's beautifully crafted orchestration is already there to make it even more unforgettable... And also Messiaen... And Baroque influences... Even Steve Reich... It might even be Third Stream music... The synthesis of jazz, classical impressionism and minimalism...
I know some of the radiohead stuff comes from either the 18-hour OK Computer session leak or the Bonus cassette that came with the collector's edition of the remaster. No idea for the rest of this.
I think it's Jonny playing here because I've just revisited an Adam Buxton podcast episode featuring Jonny, and he's playing House of Woodcock there as well and the playing style is very identical according to my brain
@@Bati_ This, and also according to Wikipedia Jonny wrote the soundtrack during the AMSP tour and recorded demos on his phone and sent them to PTA, so I would guess that’s what this is
He's a Russian guy, and Thom hurt him by not coming to his Russian fans a single time. That's why he is made to upload these snippets, to subdue his pain, to have a relief, just to take the edge off.
I would say every member is represented in Radiohead equally. In talking about their writing/recording process, they’ve mentioned that they feel more like arrangers than players of their respective instruments. They all contribute to the vision.
Wondering why he wouldn’t play his own scores on the soundtrack albums if it’s someone else playing for him. He should bc he’s good if this is actually him on these recordings
There is no doubt that Scriabin was one of the most prolific composers ever to walk this earth, but even with that said, it's best not to compare the genius of Greenwood and Scriabin.
0:50 being able to play that quickly, softly, and with a clear/even sound is unreal. thats so hard
House of Woodcock is a masterpiece.

That's absolutely lovely. Cheers.
you should definitely watch the movies he has composed the music for. :)
now listen to in rainbows. youre gonna appreciate it
I love this story!!
I like to think this is one of the members secret account.
I bet that its Collin
and that hes doing it without the others knowing
It’s not
@danieljliversLXXXIX Damn that's pretty cool! Still wonder who Danny Stashkin is.
@danieljliversLXXXIX bro that's so low
Love Phantom Thread ❤️ The score perfectly elevates the film quite beautifully. Very elegant and captivating.
I'm actually blown away at first chord. That's some Ravel level shit right here. Maestro totale!
It reminded me of something - Debussy?
Guys it's from the phantom thread DVD extras
don't spoil it wtf
Genius Musician..The Legend.😎
Barbara Rose is just about the best thing I’ve ever heard
I feel like as a musician I would be intimidated by his skill if I met him.
I mean, jonny ist just built different
The Octatonic Vol. 2 is the best thing i've heard in a long time. Jonny is a freaking genius, take a look at it
I just ordered both 1 & 2...can't wait to put them on when they arrive.
The polyrhythm king.
Gracias Jonny. Eres un genio y una inspiración. Mago inalcanzable.
This early version of Barbara Rose is so subtle, so beautiful
Incredibly beautiful. I am living through the nostalgia of my future life. Blessed to have Radiohead, to have music and to have life.
'That's As May Be' is surprisingly simple to play but sounds so complex! I love playing it
One of my favorite songs from the film soundtrack 😍
Daniel Stashkin knows where we live

Stunning find if you love The Phantom Thread soundtrack. So gorgeous ♥️🎧♥️🎧
Holy cow- just found this! Yay!
Thank you!
I’m saving them all for my “special time” of happies.☺️✌️
I hear this every day. It would be nice if the sound was a little louder.

Лучший композитор современности, не побоюсь таких гипербол.
😎
What a genius!!

Ok, now I KNOW you're just sneaking around radiohead's house for these early cuts, there is, no other way.
Ants Move Away my man is risking incarceration just to bring those early tracks
HE MUST BE ED IN DISGUISE OR SOMETHING
This comment implies that all Radiohead members live collectively all in one house
"radiohead's house" yeah they all live together in one big house like cartoon characters
@@drperkyreal4686 Well, duh. They're a band, right? 🤷 jk😊
my heart
For the hungry boy makes me think of Jon Brion. I wonder if they would get along. Chromaticism and dominant chords forever.
Piano for Children!
Jon Brion: first 4 PTA films. Jonny: next 4 PTA films. Maybe that's PTA's type
That was such a sweet scene. He'd found his muse, and she was a little lovely adorkable at first, when she stumbled into another waitress.
Essa e a trilha sonora do filme Trama Fantasma....belo trabalho!!!!
FABULOSO! FABULOSO!
There Will Be Radiohead
Love the pun!
Night made 😌
beautiful
Muchas gracias por esto estimado.
🎹🎧🎼💙💚 thank you once again
I had no idea he could play like that
Yes, why not creating beautiful music nowadays?
Merci. May the Heart of the Sun and the Spirit of the Forest pour Light Rain on us.
Thank you so much
Tnx Jonny!! :D
This sounds like Soft piano by Spitfire Audio LABS
You didn't try westwood piano kontakt too
I’m scared right now and this is kinda helping idk
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, I'd never have found it otherwise. Does anyone know where I can find the minidiscs?
they're on bandcamp
come back to us johnny
tiene buena banda sonora
This guy's good, he should be in a band (ha ha)
Felt that in my stretch marks✍🏻
He's in one it's called muse
What style of classical music would you all call this? I vote Impressionism

Ravel
Sounds like 20th century. Debussy - Ravel - Satie that type of stuff.
bruh where are you getting these stuff??
Phantom Thread Blu-Ray. Anyone who owns the movies have these.

@@matthewsetlak5589 a lot of stuff is also available in the Radiohead Public Library
It’s a cover
i just want to know if this is jonny playing. it probably is, right? god i love him so much

sounds like Bill Evans
This music gives the atmosphere of a Claude Weisbuch figure
Are you really daniel or are you Colin, Ed, Jonny, thom or Philip tell us the truth. How do you get these magnificent things?
He's a Russian guy, and Thom hurt him by not coming to his Russian fans a single time. That's why he is made to upload these snippets, to subdue his pain, to have a relief, just to take the edge off.
A rare glimpse of him without the Yorke's supervision, too stronk
Thom is not the composer that Jonny is. Thom makes their work different and original, but Jonny is the one who makes it brilliant.

What does early mean?
Great ! Where do you get that image?
how on earth do you get these
henlo jonny if ur reading this. I've been asking for you to adopt me since I was 16. I am now 30. Still waiting. Please respond
Lol
Did Jonny play the piano?
yes
@@turnleftaticeland no
@@guillaumegodfrind2899 he did play the piano on most of these
Does anyone know which upright piano brand and model he's playing in this picture? Thanks in advance!
Kemble KC121
Who is playing the piano? Jonny or someone else?
It is Katherine Tinker according to discogs
@@guillaumegodfrind2899 She played for most of the film's tracks, but since these are the demos, it's probably Johnny.

Interesting,, he’s clearly influences by Scriabin.. about 100th of the genius of Scriabin.. very good for a pop musician though..
I don't know Scriabin.
Where do you advise me to start?
Youth T hi youth.. maybe the 24 preludes opus 11 and go from there... enjoy..
There is no doubt that Scriabin was one of the most prolific composers ever to walk this earth, but even with that said, it's best not to compare the genius of Greenwood and Scriabin.
I never cared for Scriabin. I don’t know why. I really wanted to
Cliche after cliche in this music. Dissappointed and very surprized.
