    It's moments like these with Buffy and Angel at the end there, that make this show that special. The entire dialogue between them was heartbreaking and sad. Sarah and David did a fantastic job. It's moments like that one that make us love the show even more. That's why we love BtVS. They don't make shows like this anymore ♥.

      That ending with them here is just perfect. It is scenes like this that makes the whole age difference/he's a vampire not matter as much as it clearly should.

    My favorite moment in this episode is the man from who I gathered was from the Angelus S2 era telling Angel about how he tucked his kids in only to realize they were dead, just before he was grabbed. Its horrible enough for Angel to be haunted with things from hundreds of years ago, it worse to be haunted from things of less than a year ago.

    OK, first, the Buffy theme song NEVER gets old. It's currently my ringtone XD
    Second, I always remember Phoebe when I see those trees XD
    And finally, I think this might be the only Christmas miracle that has ever worked for me. It's not a trope I enjoy, but here, with that dialogue and the acting in the last scene, I really like it.
    Also, yes, it's sad that Xander is out there alone. They could have invited him to Buffy's too. And I feel bad for Faith, she keeps apologizing for her gifts, and no one even says that they don't matter.

    Rocking to the intro will NEVER get old.
    6:36 reminds me of the old TV show "Beauty and the Beast" I'll accept Meatloaf as a close second.
    Have you never dealt with an actual wood fire before? This is at least the second time you've commented on someone's hand in/close to a wood fire. Damage definitely is NOT "instant". I've gone digging around in a fire, moving logs, and shifting small embers LOADS of times without blisters, scarring, or noticeable burns.
    The fight/conversation between Angel and Buffy towards the end...Damn.
    Also, that bit of Xander back story combined with him ACTUALLY sleeping OUTSIDE...😭

    Amends was one of the best episodes of S3, and for me personally a top ten from the whole show. We are introduced to one of the worst Big Bads of the whole show in The First Evil tormenting Angel through his past victims. The concept of The First is that it gave the writers a way of reintroducing old characters to add to the richness of the show, as The First can channel its evil through dead people attacking the mind of the living. The ending scene with Buffy and Angel is brilliantly acted when Buffy is trying to save Angel from daylight, SMG and David Boreanaz absolutely knock it out of the park here, and The Hallmark movie ending even though schmaltzy, just works so well with the storyline. Comic relief with Willow using Barry White to seduce Oz is funny but sweet and innocent too. Again the acting from SMG and DB at the end was superb. Another great episode keeping up the brilliant quality of S3. Great reaction again, we can see that you really are invested in the show and appreciate the writing and acting. S3 is just banger after banger, the quality of the episodes just improves so much.

    great reaction to a fantastic ep that really knew how to press the feels button especially at the end scene between Angel/Buffy, and like you said peeled back some of the layers of the storm that was their relationship and the conflicts that plagued them both... and we find out about the First Evil and the possibility that it'll be around in the future.... great stuff as always, D! a big CTU for you today..... keep em coming!

    The monster of the week was interesting. the show is letting people know evil has always been here an always will be Giles said it can’t be fought an it has always been an always will be there. it’s pure evil. Buffy saw it in the cave in the form of Jenny it can be any dead person it wants to be. it gets into your head an causes damage that way like it was trying to get angel to kill him self.evil will always be here an always has since the beginning of time. Good message this didn’t dawn on me till I watched Buffy for the second time or third time even😂😂im watching it with you this will be my fourth time watching the whole show.

    Here's the thing about the FIRST EVIL, it claim to be the one to bring Angel back but just cus this evil being said it, doesn't make it true🤔

    • @volourn9764

      Yup, that's what Buffy said, too.

  • @WillsonT011
    @WillsonT011 2 года назад +3

    So what was the FIRST EVIL plan🤔 why would it go through all that trouble to bring Angel back(like a claim it did), only to be okay with Angel killing himself🤔
    I believe the FIRST EVIL true plan was to take a warrior from the side of good in the fight against GOOD vs EVIL🤔 if Angel loses his soul, he no longer fights for the side of good and the reason I believe the FIRST EVIL was okay with Angel killing himself was because it gets the same result, it takes a warrior from the side of good😬 but something prevented the Sun from coming up, almost like making sure the side of good keeps its Warrior going🤷‍♂️

    • @34powerman
      @34powerman 2 года назад

      I think the first evil just wanted angel to kill Buffy. Who’s to say it didn’t bring him back just to use him to kill her the first knows there’s two slayers now too. Probably just wanted to kill Buffy an faith too. The first can’t do it without help it can’t physically touch anything. So it gets into people heads uses other tactics to do harm to people.the weather was just good timing I reckon🤔

    To this day I still think it's messed up and unfair that Angel has to suffer for Angelus crimes and atrocities, Angel and Angelus are two different beings who just so happen share the same body, also Dakara this is whole thing is crazy right Angel mysteriously coming back from Acathla's hell and now it starting to snow to stop Angel from committing suicide in the sun I don't know this whole thing can't be a coincidence am I right ? 🤔

    • @haroldcruz8550
      @haroldcruz8550 2 года назад +5

      Angel needs to suffer in order to keep his soul, the less he suffer the closer he is from losing his soul that is the curse not him simply being a vampire with a soul.

    • @MrSupertallblackman
      @MrSupertallblackman 2 года назад +3

      Well regardless if he actually deserves it or not it doesn't matter. Angel believes himself responsible and that's the real hill to over come. Guilt doesn't have to something that makes complete sense.

    • @ShadowDogProduction
      @ShadowDogProduction 2 года назад +1

      Yeah I don't buy it personally. It would be like feeling guilty that someone stole your car and ran over some people. Nobody would feel that way. You didn't do these things. This forced, contrived, unrealistic POV was the worst thing about both series.

    • @MrSupertallblackman
      @MrSupertallblackman 2 года назад +5

      @@ShadowDogProduction people feel guilt for any number of reasons regardless of whether they're actually responsible or not. But even still in this very episode Angel makes the point to say that part of him wants to give in to his darker nature. Angelus doesn't just come out of nowhere part of Angelus' personality is a part of Angel's and that is enough for Angel to feel responsible for it.

    For all the nonsense the internet can expose, it’s strength is people like Jayne (Dakara) would be anonymous to us. She is such a joy to watch this wonderful show with. She is clever and anticipates plot lines / very funny and great with dialects all while being ‘cast member’ attractive. A pure soul and if I didn’t have so many people depending on my support I would support this channel / Jayne / Sharon with generous financing. Thank you for sharing.
