the charged attack of the staff actually does not set things on fire, only the standard M1. you can see this because enemies that are lit on fire from withering touch on soul-rip will have burning corpses but not so if WT is not active. so withering touch is good if you are simply wanting to soul rip chaos warriors and monsters without M1ing them first. though the added fire of withering touch only seems to proc with the final rip, not the ticks beforehand. so it is useful. kinda. because non-CW elites and specials die from one soul-rip anyway.
I like to pair the coruscation staff and AoTD with the overlap of summons allows you to build up tremendous burst damage and swift cooldowns and not really run short of minions. Add the decanter trait with the concentration potion and you can flick blue fire blasts and bonfires everywhere at will and achieve close to 3 Skelly casts before the first rank fails. Thanks for the cool video.✌️
I like to use the bone armor instead of spirit leech for added safety: The soul gathering for crits instead of withering touch and ressourcefull sharpshooter? (the one that gives you 5% ult on crit) on my staff. Gives you a little less skeleton regeneration but by focussing on the soulstealers left click you basically don't deplete them anyway. Just don't send them straight into the boss. Gear is basically just maxed for crit chance. The rest is variable.
The winds of magic says it raises the level cap to 35 with a new trait on the Xbox store. I don’t see that in game or in any video that shows builds. What’s going on?
She is not OP. I like how flexible she is with builds and playstyles. I stick to 2 or 3 and within those I have additional room to adapt to more defensive or offensive tactics. I do use her default weapons. In games, DoT is balanced by being given more damage than direct damage, but since it is spread over a period of time it is bad burst damage, which means it doesn't take out key targets very quickly. AoE damage is balanced by dealing less damage per hit, but because it hits multiple enemies the overall damage is also higher, again without the ability to kill fast. This necro has both, which means the potential to 1shot things instantly isn't really there, but the overall damage potential is insane. It also means you get a LOT of small damage ticks on a LOT of enemies, providing huge chances to deal the killing blow on enemies, even if someone else did the majority of the damage. That makes her a lot stronger on the scoreboard than she is in action, though I personally think she is also very strong in action IF played well.
i play either a balanced build with Deathdealer Vanhel´s danse smiter cursed blood spirit leech and Dread Seneschal new staff or Coruscation Staff+flail or my lets make it go boom build with reaping instead of vanhel´s and *barrow blades instead of dread senseschal *Barrow Blades inflicts enemys with the curse and not just dot dmg! with new staff or bolt staff to make everything go boom since cursed blood works on range :D

I was wondering if I should run that too but I prefer solid damage over possible damage even if its +100%.
@theamatorium I know this video has been out for awhile but I"m just seeing it. What staff are you using here??
Hey no worries! The staff is the necromancer staff tied to the DLC!

There is no new trait/talent at lvl 35. 35 was a power spike in order to help people play on Cataclysm.

also Necromancers DoT makes anything including bosses that are afflicted by it take 20% more damage and it stacks with Shrapnel trait

Withering touch stacks btw
its warhammer fantasy not 40k
Muscle memory kicked it! I read that while outside and my heart skipped a beat. Thank you!
could u tell us the stats u roll for on ur equipment ect?
Absolutely! Do you want to see it in a video with some description or just write it out here?
@@theamatorium just written here or in the description would be perfect
Does Withering Touch add a dot to your staff left click ? I mean a 2nd dot. Otherwise it's pretty shit talent here.
It does stack on top of it yes.
Oh lol you are playing legendary AND with extra regen. Sure, anything is OP on lower difficulties and with buffs from other classes.
