  • It’s been a few months since Chancey boy left the farm. And we all know he is living the ultimate happily ever after with his lovely Mumma and bestie Nevaeh. But here is his farm story complete. It’s an extra long farm story, he was here the longest for rehabilitation, but he also holds a very very special place in our hearts. He always will.
Chance worked so hard on himself while he was here at the farm. From dangerously aggressive to all dogs, and humans too when trying to get to dogs … he turned into a loving boy capable of making positive social connections with any dog he encountered.
Chance holds a piece of Luke’s heart. I can assure you it has quite literally taken everything Luke had to get Chance to where he is today. This was the most emotional, mentally and physically loaded training case for Luke. But it was all so worth it, for Chance to have his last chance turn into his best chance at a loving forever home.
We’re so proud of you Chance. You deserve every minute of the rest of your life to be full of love and happiness.
Thank you so much to Chance’s mum for adopting him. Truly a wonderful life he is living.
    This is Chance’s farm story.
    The goodest boy.
Thank you Ben for making this video of Chance’s time here at the farm.

He wouldn't be alive and living his best life if it wasn't for Luke. Thank you for all the effort you put into him. ❤

That salute gets me every time Luke. If you ever have doubts about the decision to do this amazing service, not just for these beautiful but sadly, misunderstood and mistreated souls and also, in turn, for us humans, then watch and rewatch this video. Bless you and Sam for your enduring compassion and love. 👏💕🙏🐾

Makes me cry to think Chris never would’ve had the opportunity to be his mum if you hadn’t taken on the challenge and rehabilitated him and his sister, you guys have the biggest hearts ❤ thank you for all the hard work and dedication 🙏

Thank you forever Luke, Sam, Dee and Jason, for trusting and giving me the opportunity to own 2 nearly perfect dogs (yes, they still have their naughty days, LOL they just like to keep me on my toes). They love as hard as they can and try so hard to please. Good Job Luke for the massive efforts emotionally and mentally in their rehab training, I know the toll it can take. Without you I don't think either of them would have made it. That alone is worth a million bucks to me and them. Every day we appreciate the things you have done and gone through to create this family we all now have. Chaney Boi is the sweetest love bug in the world and Miss Nevaeh is the cheekiest love bug in the world. Together how could anyone wish for anymore. I know that I can't and that is all because of "You Luke, You Sam, You Dee and You Jason!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. XXX

Thank you Ben for putting this together and thank you Sam for putting it up. Rehabilitation is such a complex journey and requires such a deep commitment. There are so few trainers who do this for the sheer love of dogs and, as usual, my deep appreciation to Luke for the sharing of his skills and his absolute 'doggedness' 😂in never giving up, always putting in the hours, the effort and the love. 💜 Hey Mama Chris there's your beautiful boy. 💜

Chuckled, laughed out loud, gasped & cried watching Chancies journey again. I think the depth of your emotion was palpable, how proud you must feel, you’re “the man” Luke, what you’ve got is priceless.

Gosh....I couldn't believe Chance was at The Farm for 12 months! You were so despondent and upset Luke, when he seemed to go backwards....but your perseverance and love for the underdog won out. 💛👍🐾Well done Luke, Jase, Sam and Chance's new mama. He's such a happy chappy now.....with his new siblings. 💛🐾

I remember when Chance arrived at the farm with 3 other aggressive dogs. Sam asked Luke what did he think and Luke said "I'm gonna get bit". That's how scary they were. And now, we get to watch Rosco daily on the farm being an absolute joy. A dog many would adopt now if they could. And we also get to watch Chance and Nevaeh, living a great life. Just last week, Chance was modelling a new yellow hooded raincoat from a fan and looked unbelievably cute staring up at his mum saying "aren't I a good handsome boy mum". That video is a world away from the from the first video of chance arriving at The Farm.

Chance is a beautiful boy. Who is now living a wonderful life on Ms Wilson's farm with Nevaeh. We all miss him so much. He can be running in the pastures and Ms Wilson calls him and he immediately comes to her and sits at her feet waiting for a treat. You all gave him that life. ❤

I don't have any words. Other people are far more articulate. But the love, compassion and understanding shown to Chance and the other dogs (still ongoing for others now) is something very few can accomplish.

I am always amazed, how Mr. Evans can see the 'real' dog behind the animal's current appearance...maybe this helps a little bit.

Remember Chance’s first training session with Luke. It took an epic 25 minutes for him to agree to sit. He couldn’t believe that a mere human was even more determined than him!

I'd almost forgotten what Chance was like at the start, and Roscoe too. What an incredible journey that we were all so blessed to watch. Luke, you are astonishing, your love, understanding, patience and belief in these beautiful dogs is something we are all so thankful for, and what wonderful payoffs you have achieved. So much love to you, Sam, the kids, all the staff and all the lucky beautiful animals that end up in your care.
