Random thing I learned the other day. There was a recent survey with burglars in my country (which has a lot of crime) about what kind of dogs will make them avoid a house. The burglars overwhelmingly chose small dogs because they're always inside dogs, they're fussy eaters, people usually have more than one, they are often untrained, and they never stop barking.
SmilingSoulful, this is interesting! Right now I live in a big house in a prosperous village, and there have been a few burglarieson the neighborhood. I have a small dog who is a German Spitzdog/Chihuahua mix. Small German Spitzdogs are related to Pomeranians, and they are excellent watch dogs. Chihuahuas can also be talented watch dogs. My doggy is such an excellent watch dog, and she always alerts me when people she doesn't know, come near the house. She always starts to alert me way before the approaching strangers have reached the door! I didn't train her to do this. It's her natural behavior, and it's definitely very useful in many situations. I am quite sure that potential burglars will think twice before they decide to tackle a house which contains a very alert dog. And even a small dog has sharp teeth and can be very noisy! The majority of burglars isn't interested in violent and noisy confrontations. They want to go in and out as quickly and silently as possible.
@@sabineb.5616 Exactly! And I think being small possibly makes them more aware of potentially dangerous things. If I was a burglar I'd definitely want to avoid a run-in with a German Spitzdog and/or a Chihuahua! They're so feisty! Whereas I've got a Golden Retriever/Labrador cross who doesn't bark for long and ends up going to the gate with a toy in his mouth... Talk about a welcome party for burglars 😂Ok, to be fair, I doubt anyone gets a Golden or Lab to be very good watchdogs, but still.
@@123nohandl3 Bulldogs are much smaller and more manageable than a presa canario, which is a 50 kg mastiff created for guarding, and they want to train it for personal protection.I don't agree with all she said but in 9:40 i totaly agree, they don't look like to realise what do they have between there hands, when they can't even keep two small bulldogs together + Iberian breeds tend not to be the friendliest with other dogs and humans
The other problem with people like this having Presas is that they endangered not only themselves and their own children, they endanger everyone. A friend of mine was attacked by a neighbor’s dog which jumped a fence to get her. If a utility worker hadn’t dragged her into his truck, she would have been killed. She recovered from her physical injuries but never, ever walks outside. Also she had to go to court to testify to get the dog removed and PTS. It took a year of legal wrangling because the owners thought the dog was protecting their property.
It’s really nice to see someone acknowledge that their dog is unhappy and deciding to regime them to a good person. If you feel out of your depth, and can ensure a better life for your pup, it’s a very selfless and compassionate act.
Having a dog like a presa canario in that sort of envoirenment while not being the only dog in the home is absolutely the worst idea you can have and execute. Previously living in a family with a presa canario i can tell you that there is absolutely no chance that we couldve had a second dog. and that prey drive is absolutely real and utterly insane. ive never seen a dog like our 3 year old Mille have such focus and agression towards another animal. if she hadnt been contained by me while my dad took her focus, that little hedgehog would NEVER have survived. me a 6'5 200+ pound guy was having trouble contaning her, in not just a collar but a HARNESS. they are extremely strong and any ordinary human being with absolutely no training could never ever EVER take control over a dog like that.
I still don't think they should have kept the Presa. They clearly weren't experienced in training a dog such as that and with two very small children?? It's like they were more concerned with their dogs than their children!! That puppy is going to grow faster than those two girls. The girls could be seriously injured or even killed if these people fail this dog's training.
My blood is boiling watching these two narcissistic numpties ruin such beautiful dogs. Not even touching on the trauma they're causing the twins. I've worked in veterinary medicine and I'm disgusted. No credit given they're doing everything for THEIR want and ego.
Why do people, who are so lucky to get Victoria's help, change her training??? So annoying watching these wanna be trainers change the teacher of all teachers, Victoria Stilwell, tutoring!!
It's the same with people who want kids but don't teach them how to behave. All they want to do is yell "NO!" at them and expect them to behave like adults. It's infuriating. I watch a lot of shows like Super Nanny to learn how to interact with children. I helped raise my brothers from my mom's second family, and now am learning how to interact with my autistic nephew. The Super Nanny in those shows do basically the same thing Victoria does in these shows: They teach the adults how to interact with their children (dogs) in a way the child (dog) can understand. Praise and encourage good behavior, explain why bad behavior is not okay, and put yourself on their level to see things from their perspective.
They might just work their ***** off to have that home! Why is it surprising that they would have a nice home? Lack of knowledge about dog training and behavior doesn't make somebody a lackey or trash. Most celebrities have professional trainers come in and train their dogs so what's the difference? Gosh people are nasty and judgemental.
I dont understand why they kept Wolfgang knowing how dangerous these dogs are. They have two small girls who like to run around and some dogs have the urge to chase and catch and shake the prey.
When I was in elementary school, my mom got a puppy she didn't train and couldn't handle... All I remember from those years were her running around the house and yelling and swearing at the dog while I cowered in fear and cried. And our dog wasn't even violent, just mischievous! Those parents aren't just mistreating the dogs, but the poor kids too!
The hardest part of watching "It's Me Or The Dog" or "My Cat From Hell" or even some of the "Super Nanny" episodes is watching owners/parents/guardians regress to doing some technique with the pet or child, sort of the wrong way from what Jackson/Victoria/Nanny Jo was trying to teach them.
i love that at the end of every video victoria has sucessfully made the couples so much closer and lovey with each other AND the dogs are so much happier and well trained! She is not just a dog trainer but a human trainer as well!!
I don't understand why Victoria would even consider compromizing. These owners decided they know better. OK. Good luck with that. And why was the agressive dog rewarded for his bad behaviour and had the other dog have to leave? Unbelievable
The other dog is actually the lucky one. He got out! Bimbo loves walking through dogs, lol. They walk her. Expects commands, they weren't taught, to work. Sad though there are so many like this out there.
James the loner, the quiet one. Wow!! Thats why the dogs listened to him! I'm so relieved he saw the potential danger he put him and his family in and quickly abandoned the 'idea' of an attack/bite dog! I just hope Jenny sticks to Victoria's techniques and doesn't undo all her hard work a second time ! I felt the frustration for James too! 😡 I'm happy for Jo-Jo! He had a spring in his step and I swore he had a big smile on his face! 😄. Love him ❤
I’ve watched 5 of these episodes and I have to say, in every single scenario, the wives are doing it all and the husbands are doing the bare minimum. I’ve seen it in my own home after my husband brought a giant dog home to an already established pack of animals. I was responsible for all of it. Just an observation
What’s wrong with this woman’s husband? He seems weird somehow. Why is he so afraid of someone attacking his wife? Are they mafia or something? Both the wife and husband give off strange vibes…can’t put my finger on it
There's just a lot of things "off" about this family. The dude looks and acts like his wife's son. He doesn't have much facial expression and seems very detached (mild autism, maybe?). They don't dress particularly well, and they don't come across as the brightest crayons in the box, yet they live in a mansion. It's just not what we expect. It feels like when an amateur writer tries to subvert every stereotype.
Yeah. Living in a manor, husband with 60 iq, the wife probably the main breadwinner. He's getting a big, dangerous dog to show his "manliness"..who sold them a Presa??
@@anonmouse6337wow...you guys say the man acts weird/off and then you go ahead and say he might be autistic...That has some messed up implications. You two are trying to find a conspiracy just because they don't dress like what Hollywood tells you people with big houses dress like? Their money is most likely going towards the house, their kids, AND these expensive dog breeds they're caring for. Just because you have a big house doesn't mean you live like Cardi B. Plus theyre at home, not going out, who dresses fancy in their own home? And having an older partner isn't weird either and clearly she's still young enough to have kids so shes got to be in her early 40s at most. People age differently based off genetics too, he could be in his late 30s for all you know. Plus you also went and called them "not bright" for being ignorant on how dogs work then implied that you need high intelligence to have money. Very rude and unrealistic. My dad didn't go to college but he has a big house and a well paying job. The woman is a bit full of herself sure but that's kinda it. We hear horror stories of families being killed from break ins, especially when they have fancy houses. it's a very reasonable thing to be scared of being one of those stories. He literally says it, he just wants his family to grow up safe no matter what happens. He's a man with two little girls, his paranoia/insecurity comes from being a new parent. It's pretty reasonable to worry about any what ifs that can hurt them, lots of new parents get paranoid.
Once I wanted to own a Belgian Malinois for the same reason these people got their Preso Canaria. After we got our golden retriever, working with him everyday, we got to the point when our dog is almost perfectly trained. All of that work helps us realized that our family simply won’t be able to keep up with malinois..😏
Maligators are great for people who can commit the time and energy. They have good temperaments and are highly intelligent. They take to training easily. But yeah, you'd be going on an hour run twice a day for a few years lol.
I have 3 dogs. They re all well trained and 100% safe around my niece and nephew when they come to stay. You can have multiple dogs around children so long as you train your dogs and give them the exercise they need. These people cannot handle a french bulldog, they have no business with a presa
If the kids are scared of things,u teach said children that there îs nothing to fear and also teach them that things do not simply disapear just because they are scared and that they have to know, interract and live with possibly scary things/situations..that îs how they became usefull humans instead of entitled brats
And If the dogs were there long before even the idea of kids, then kids are the ones that need to adapt to the living conditions(tought and supervised always by the parents) not the dog's to be thrown away...dogs are family members not rugs
I’ve seen this episode before, and I can’t understand the over aggressive Frenchie. And then they add a Presa Canario? I think the dogs to go should have been the Frenchie and the Presa. Jojo seems like he’s be a good boy if he wasn’t getting attacked all the time.
I wonder if behind the scenes her decision to get rid of Jojo instead of the others was because he was the one offered a home. The friend who took him seemed familiar with Jojo already and may have already bonded with him.
I love to hear a dog owner actually admit they have no control and need help. Thank goodness they got helped because they were setting themselves up for failure.
putting the bulldog in the cage after he just got brutally attacked is SO WRONG and sad! that's like rewarding the aggressor and teaching him, "If I attack the dog, the dog will go away." NO! you isolate the Frenchie until he's under control! ugh, that poor bulldog :(

I really wish you needed a permit to get a dog. So many people get these extreme breeds that need a lot of training and structure but they don't wanna do that so they just ignore it until the dog has problems then dump it in a shelter and start the cycle over again hoping the dog will magically be better than the last
The poor twins, they're so young and their parents aren't looking out for their safety. If my dog ever bit my child, that dog is getting re-homed immediately.
Dogs like this are naturally protective- I've had a succession of medium to large breeds German shepherds, Dobie x, Rottweiler X, and now an Amstaff cross. All have been protective, and calmly but clearly on guard when strangers were around, none were trained to be.
Its the same principle with kids especially tantruming toddlers never give into it because they will never grow out of it they learn very quickly that tantrums get them what they want and you end up with an entitled, spoilt and selfish adult because their behaviour as children went unchallenged and they weren't taught respect and boundaries
The fact that people so utterly clueless and inexperienced with dogs even consider attack training a dog, any type of dog, is to me completely insane, and the fact that they are allowed to without any check on competence is even worse. I have a 7 year old Rottweiler weighing in at 70kg myself, and I spent a lot of time both educating myself, and considering whether I had the knowledge and experience to train and handle the dog before I got to the step of buying him, and even now, 7 years later, with the most fantastic dog by my side I would not even for a moment consider attack training for him, not for a second...
Well. What threat do they face they think they need to neutralize. I see that money and those dogs, I think perhaps they’re in some sort of pharmaceutical sales.

I can just imagine the burglar being like "Ah shet I don't wanna deal with another headache right now"
SmilingSoulful, this is interesting!
@Ab3ndcgi Agreed!
I can attest to that 😂
Can’t even take care of a bulldog and wants an attack Presa Canario
I know, right??!!
I dont know much about dogs, bulldogs more gentle in general? I know all dogs are different of course
@@123nohandl3
Bulldogs are much smaller and more manageable than a presa canario, which is a 50 kg mastiff created for guarding, and they want to train it for personal protection.I don't agree with all she said but in 9:40 i totaly agree, they don't look like to realise what do they have between there hands, when they can't even keep two small bulldogs together + Iberian breeds tend not to be the friendliest with other dogs and humans
Years ago in San Francisco a woman was killed by two of them going to her apartment.
Amazing how little people care about their house peace and the safety of the children
Good job Victoria for showing them what could happen In real life and giving them a taste of reality ❤
It’s really nice to see someone acknowledge that their dog is unhappy and deciding to regime them to a good person. If you feel out of your depth, and can ensure a better life for your pup, it’s a very selfless and compassionate act.
I don’t like how this lady thought she could just change the command for her own benefit and expect the dog to understand what she was asking for.
I agree. They call in a professional trainer, then promptly undermine her training, confusing the dogs. Idiots.
The fact she was so fast to rehome the dog that’s not the aggressor is wild
I feel like keeping a dog like that that has already gone after your young children should warrant a call to DCF.
Like "The Super Nanny" but with dogs. I love it. 🖤
It's so nice to see them making the best decision for their dog. And it's nice their friend took Jojo so they can still see him from time to time
Sully, the lab mix disappeared after the intro. He/she was the only one even tempered. They should've kept Sully and rehomed the other 3 dogs.
YES!! I wondered why the Lab mix wasn't included at all. It's supposed to be part of the family too!
I came to reviews to found out about the lab mix. That was weird.
@@DifyanceYup. Training toddlers and dogs with positive reinforcement is very similar.
Watching this video and literally crying. This is what I'm going through with my dogs right now. Glad I'm here.
I find it extremely interesting that she's "training" the housekeeper to "teach" the dogs.
And training the housekeeper to use the wrong commands on top of it!!
Right?? And if the housekeeper is somehow unable or unwilling to use commands other than yes or no then she doesn't need to be training the dogs!!
Am I the only one wondering what these people do to afford that kind of house?! 😮
RIGHT? I can't even afford a one bedroom trailer, yet these people who seem like trash have practically a mansion.
Woodwork, they said
RIGHT ?! I did that with another episode they had with the 4 girls living in one house with their small dogs who pooped everywhere
@@GilraenTook they don´t just "seem" like trash tho!
They don’t care. They want an attack dog
they should give away Wolfgang. He will grow so big. Look at his bone structure. you just dont understand what runs in their coconut.
@@10forstrays58i strongly agree..she think she's doing right but ..make it wors
Victoria not only saves dogs but families
I love her endlessly, she's an angel
Glad the father stepped up finally. Thank you Victoria for saving these dogs!
glad that James understood the consequences of attack training the Presa Canario.
Saving the dogs AND those kids, too.
Victoria left, and that lady said, “Victoria, who?” Lol like she really thought she was doing something. 😹
Those little girls are absolutely precious! Poor little ones.
I wondered if there was one for cats. I need them to train me to be able to trim my girls nails lol thats a terror
i love that at the end of every video victoria has sucessfully made the couples so much closer and lovey with each other AND the dogs are so much happier and well trained! She is not just a dog trainer but a human trainer as well!!
What was he thinking! If you have an out of control dog don't add more dogs!
I'm happy for Jo-Jo!
Most men are useless nowadays
@@anonmouse6337they dress normally
@@lamp2958 they don't dress like they live in a mansion, is the point.
The lab is just so unproblematic she ain’t in there for more then 10 seconds 😂
Those kind of dogs with that type of temperament have absolutely NO business being with small children. 😮
It astounds me when people who evidently know so little about dogs, get four.
Why 4 dogs??????? together with 2 children. Insane
I have 3 dogs. They re all well trained and 100% safe around my niece and nephew when they come to stay. You can have multiple dogs around children so long as you train your dogs and give them the exercise they need. These people cannot handle a french bulldog, they have no business with a presa
That puppy is ADORABLE I hope these people don’t fail him….
She will! She is arrogant & thinks she knows best.
Poor Jojo!! I am happy that he was able to find a good home!
That zoomed in smile on Rufus @36:45 made me cackle so hard 😂😂😂
I’m so glad someone pointed this out😅
Well, first problem is they have FOUR dogs, when they don't even have control of one of them lol
If your kids are traumatised by the aggressive dogs, get rid of the dogs. It's not rocket science 🙄
Agreed, but that just shows the parents care more about owning the dogs than the safety of their own kids.
@@xerosereifyyou could be right about that actually
It’s easier to rehome a dog that isn’t aggressive and they were fine with keeping Rufus.
This one is infuriating. 😡 and those poor kids caught in the crossfire.. due to their parents stupidity and negligence
I hope to God they rehomed that presa too 🤦🏻♀️
Right this woman is infuriating, the husband at least has some sense
If that Frenchie keeps bullying that Presa, at some point it’s going to get a very rude awakening
Not only victoria can train dogs but she can also train the owners how to do what is right for the dog, no, for EVERYONE IN THEIR FAMILY
I love to hear a dog owner actually admit they have no control and need help. Thank goodness they got helped because they were setting themselves up for failure.
I don’t understand why people don’t train their dogs. It’s like they think the dog will just fall into good manners.
Well, cats just "fall into good manners."😂😂😂😂 People don't realize that dogs are not cats.
This woman is too comfortable. She started acting like she was a damn professional. 😂😭. What's wrong with her? Smh
putting the bulldog in the cage after he just got brutally attacked is SO WRONG and sad! that's like rewarding the aggressor and teaching him, "If I attack the dog, the dog will go away." NO! you isolate the Frenchie until he's under control! ugh, that poor bulldog :(
I want to know what kind of a horrible breeder gave a family like this a Presa Canario??? MY GOD!
33:29 this is SO FRUSTRATING! Jenny has gone off script with zero SENSE! how can a dog understand you being totally bonkers? You must be consistent.
😀🤣😭😭. She said, "This is enjoyable to me." Response - "No, not this, it can't be."😂
"I know Victoria thinks I have no control over my dogs, & she's right, I don't ." 😂😭🤣😂😭😭😭😭.. Omg, I can't breathe. 😂😅😂🤣😭...🤦🏾♀️
Omg you’re so right 😂😂😂

36:45 Rufus has the biggest smile and love beam eyes for Victoria lol so cute!!!
Wolfgang is a very smart puppy I hope he grew up to be a healthy and happy dog
Wolfgang is one of the cutest and most delightful puppies I've ever seen ❤
After the advice Victoria gave in regards to the Presa i thought the wifes first words would be rehome it. But she saw Jojo as the first one out.
Breaks my heart for poor JoJo 😢
Welcome to your new home JOJO 😊
And a much better one at that!
“I think wolfgang might have a difficult time because youth and lack of training-“
Oh no, he is a dream puppy. As soon as victoria brought a treat he was all over it. Attention, ready, wanting, happy.
You want that! Thats traits of a puppy with a bright future!
Wolfgang is such a good boy!
What do these people do for a living? Their home is BEAUTIFUL
I really wish you needed a permit to get a dog. So many people get these extreme breeds that need a lot of training and structure but they don't wanna do that so they just ignore it until the dog has problems then dump it in a shelter and start the cycle over again hoping the dog will magically be better than the last
This entire situation is untenable.
Very concerning and distressing.
So they are told that the Presa was an awful idea especially around their small kids, and they remove the calm dog?
20:15 20:18 the look on their faces when they realized o god why did we buy a presa canario 😂Hehehe
The smile on rufus face when she came back and saved the day and was working good with his brother♡♡
The poor twins, they're so young and their parents aren't looking out for their safety. If my dog ever bit my child, that dog is getting re-homed immediately.
I like that Victoria helps train dogs but also helps relationships
Victoria is such a wonderful trainer ! ❤❤❤
pets arent collectable objects. They deserve your care, attention, love & protection.
Dogs like this are naturally protective- I've had a succession of medium to large breeds German shepherds, Dobie x, Rottweiler X, and now an Amstaff cross. All have been protective, and calmly but clearly on guard when strangers were around, none were trained to be.
It’s disturbing how undeservingly self confident they are 💀
They or the mom?
Thats rich people for you 😂😂😂
You know what people say "training the dog early", the easier it will be to train the dog into its adulthood.
Its the same principle with kids especially tantruming toddlers never give into it because they will never grow out of it they learn very quickly that tantrums get them what they want and you end up with an entitled, spoilt and selfish adult because their behaviour as children went unchallenged and they weren't taught respect and boundaries
OMG! The family and anyone could
get hurt and injured that safe for anyone 😮
The fact that people so utterly clueless and inexperienced with dogs even consider attack training a dog, any type of dog, is to me completely insane, and the fact that they are allowed to without any check on competence is even worse. I have a 7 year old Rottweiler weighing in at 70kg myself, and I spent a lot of time both educating myself, and considering whether I had the knowledge and experience to train and handle the dog before I got to the step of buying him, and even now, 7 years later, with the most fantastic dog by my side I would not even for a moment consider attack training for him, not for a second...
God, Rufus is exactly why my dog hates Frenchies, she sees them and wants to turn around and walk the other way.
This woman gets dragged while walking her small bulldog, what in hell makes her thinks that she can handle a Presa? My God, these, people!
Every family Victoria visits is a nightmare! Please pass along to be kind to animals. ❤
Wolf gang is already a big dog. I feel bad, that the dog (Jojo) had to be rehomed, but at least he's happy now.❣️
I wanna know what kind of jobs they have to afford that house. It is so beautiful!! My lord! 💜 Excellent work with the training Victoria! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It's called "Daddy's money"
Sell feet pictures
Well. What threat do they face they think they need to neutralize. I see that money and those dogs, I think perhaps they’re in some sort of pharmaceutical sales.
What does that matter!!! Ooh come on!!! Its about THE DOGS!! Remember!
7:51 when she said I’m the alpha got me cracking up 😂
