+EverySecondDivine TM We don't need a new Battle Network game, the story has been all tied up. Remember what happened last time Capcom added a new entry to a franchise that was obviously finished? *cough*X6* cough*X7*cough*
Megaman X8 has by far the most replayability of any megaman game with multiple characters, armor and weapons to unlock and play with. Not to mention the only game in the series to allow for tagging out and ultimate moves by teaming up with your partner. This could have been the staple for future X games if they kept going. How this didn't make the list, let alone even a mention is beyond me.
Mega Man 2 was great. But for me Mega Man X is the best. It took all of the great elements from the original series and added new elements and took the substance deeper. I think the X series was the peak of the Mega Man franchise. Here's helplessly hoping to a serious Blue Bomber revival in the next few years.
MM Zero 3 is my favorite followed by BN3. Zero 2 is up there as well. This video reminded of how much I miss this series. I hope the success of him in Smash prompts some future installment. I personally think we need a completely new series whether it be in the style of the original, zero/zx/x, or even an RPG. I forgot about mighty number 9 but idk how that will fare
Already mentioned below, but to be clear, you mispronounced "Bass". It is bass as in music, not bass as in the fish as it is pronounced in this video. It goes with his dog named Treble. It a play on words just like Megaman's name is Rock and his sister's name is Roll.
I really liked the starforce series as a kid so I was kinda hoping to see it as an honorable mention. The battle system was a lot of fun (Like battle network)
I feel like mega man 7 should have been on this list because I feel like mega man 7 is one of the most underrated mega man games of all time and a actually recently beat it. its a really good game I recommend getting it or if you have it you should start playing through it its totally worth your time plus the ending is one of the best endings I've seen and any mega man game yes so go play mega man 7! :)
+Paul Dunbar Well,... they can't even pronounce Bass' name right either. Granted Megaman 8's god awful dub screwed that up too, it doesn't take a genius to see the obvious music theme, and pronounce it like "base"
I'm just gonna say it, at the risk of getting downvoted, MM2 2"while still a good game, is extremely overrated, thanks to its extremely poor last three levels, weapons that are either overpowered or completely useless, and it overall feeling much more simplistic both story and gameplay wise, and not as action packed as later installments and sub-series.
+Zach Reed Well said, personally I think MM3 and MM5 were in-fact much more worthier of this role; but honestly Nostalgia had a huge factor in play here. Which a great deal of Watchmojo top ten often results to. Have you seen that abomination that was the top ten most powerful Gundams video.
It’s not my favorite but it’s definitely the best without question. It put mega man on the map and cemented him as one of the most popular characters of the late 80s and 90s. It’s for that reason that it’s the best mega man game. Not my favorite tho
I recently got the NES Classic, and Mega Man 2 is the best game on it FWIW... To say it is overrated is to say all games of that era are overrated, which is a view lacking context.
Megaman Legends has a great potential for an RPG-Style and open world game, if only Capcom and development is just willing to put so much time and money
Classic: MM3>MM9>MM2>MM4>MM10>MM7>MM5>MM8>MM6>MM1 X (Quality): X4>X1>X2>X3>X8>X5>X6>X7 / (For the Series): X2>X1>X4>X3 X (For Establishments): X2>X1>X3>X4>X6>X5>X8>X7

OMG, Megaman X4 is pure GOLD
Megaman BN needs to come to the 3ds store or a new 3ds game -_-
+EverySecondDivine TM there is megaman starforce wich is a future version of megaman BN and i rate it highly
yes
+EverySecondDivine TM We don't need a new Battle Network game, the story has been all tied up. Remember what happened last time Capcom added a new entry to a franchise that was obviously finished? *cough*X6* cough*X7*cough*
+SBG Haseo Agreeable, but lets have some 3ds remakes, at least.
Lets Say It I played starforce Leo and it wasn't my cup of tea, preferred the older layout
It's pronounced like the guitar bass, not the fish. He's got a dog called treble. How'd you not get the musical reference?
2 is seriously overrated, the main reason why people "love" that game, is the fact that the metal blade is so overpowered.
Bryan Cadents I think 4s the best.

IT'S NOT A FISH IT'S THE GUITAR REFERENCE (PRONOUNCED BASE, NOT BASS!!!!) UGH
They do minimal research
"Guitar reference" also no. Play megaman 8.
megaman 8 is bass not base
I'm a Mega Man 3 guy... 2 and X are of course amazing, but I always thought 3 was the better game. Great list though guys!
My top 10.
1. MegaMan Legends 2
2. MegaMan Legends
3. MegaMan Battle Network 6: Gregar
4. MegaMan X
5. MegaMan X8
6. MegaMan Powered Up
7. MegaMan X3
8. MegaMan 2
9. MegaMan
10. MegaMan 8
Honorable Mentions:
MegaMan & Bass, MegaMan Maverich Hunter X, MegaMan Zero, MegaMan 7, MegaMan The Power Fighters 2, MegaMan X7 (go ahead and say shit), and MegaMan 10.
Mispronouncing "Bass". UUUUUUUGH!!! Did the fact that he has a support robot named "Treble" clue you in at all?
3:25 "such as a female robot master" shows jewelman** ...
Mega Man Zero 3 is one of my favorite games of all time!
so true dude. Bro Fist
+PlayErrday yeah 3 was golden then was really hyped for 4 just to get disappointed
picked up x4 when i was like 12 or 13.. i will never forget that fuckin game.. too dope!
My favorite Megaman game is the sixth one, it has great enviorments, bosses, and even a few good tracks of music
Incorrect, forgot about the Star Force games.
IT'S BASS, LIKE THE GUITAR, NOT THE FISH
Bass... Like B Ass... Short for Bad Ass
indeed
No it's pronounced bass like the fish, if you watch the old cutscenes they say it, it's bass like the fish
no, like the guitar, because all of the main characters in japanese have names which are music pun, example, Rockman, Roll, Blues and Treble.
+dgripper05 You do know that the actor got the name wrong in the Megaman 8 cutscenes, right?
I really liked the starforce series as a kid so I was kinda hoping to see it as an honorable mention. The battle system was a lot of fun (Like battle network)
I feel like mega man 7 should have been on this list because I feel like mega man 7 is one of the most underrated mega man games of all time and a actually recently beat it. its a really good game I recommend getting it or if you have it you should start playing through it its totally worth your time plus the ending is one of the best endings I've seen and any mega man game yes so go play mega man 7! :)
Megaman X came out in 1993 not 1994
if you wanna feel old, next year Megaman will be 35
Seriously? No Starforce series? Only MMBN 2? Not even in the "Honorable mentions? Pssh Ok Mojo.
Dude it's bass as in the clef not bass as in the fish!
Says "female Robot Master" in Mega Man 9, but shows us Jewel Man. What exactly are you trying to say here, WatchMojo?
+Paul Dunbar Well,... they can't even pronounce Bass' name right either. Granted Megaman 8's god awful dub screwed that up too, it doesn't take a genius to see the obvious music theme, and pronounce it like "base"
Yeah... Same goes for Mario.
I remember my first video game being the first Megaman battlenetwork game. Ever since then I was obsessed with everything Megaman related.
I've only played x4 and it has a big place in my heart! I'll never forget the memories I had playing Zero
So stop crying 1 Year old kid is salty 😁
i have literally every megaman game in this list, proud fan!
Gingeta Cough Cough Megaman Starforce
MM2 is one of the worst games I’ve ever played
MM6 is my favorite game of all time
See the difference
I recently got the NES Classic, and Mega Man 2 is the best game on it FWIW... To say it is overrated is to say all games of that era are overrated, which is a view lacking context.
@@brandononbrandWTF? no bro. It isnt
Female robot master... Shows Jewel Man
+YerkDiff Always thought he looked a little fem though. He's pink for hell's sake, what was the doc. thinking on that design!
+Opaque Visions meh. it's an honest mistake.
Hey, you forgot you add the "X" before the number 1 pick ;)
Jk, I respect your opinion, but X2 will forever be my favorite Mega Man game.
megaman starforce?
megaman legend 2?
megaman legend 3... demo....?
Bass is pronounced Base...his partner is Treble. All the heroes are music related named
I personally loved the Starforce series.
Megaman Legends has a great potential for an RPG-Style and open world game, if only Capcom and development is just willing to put so much time and money
I aways think about that possibility. Not even a possibility for capcom
"Talk about a great leap foward" (X takes a great leap foward)
Watch Mojo never fails at this lol

Megaman And bass...AT NUMBER 5
Dude, what's next, Megaman on dos at No.1?
Love the list. Great job
Megaman X no.1
Yes
This Is My List (Only Classic Series)
1.Mega Man 9
2.Mega Man 3
3.Mega Man 2
4.Mega Man 6
5.Mega Man 7 (More Later)
Have you played more of the og series?
Duh! We all predicted numbers 2 & 1 perfectly.
Mine is in no particular order (2 will always be the best no matter what though) 2,3,4,8,7,x,x2,x4,x5,x8,command mission
Star Force was a great game. Too bad this wasn't on this list because it's underrated.
Mega Man 20 will get released before Might Number 9
Mega Man Star Force 3 of course...
needed to be on this list, it's a fantastic game.
Ysmahely Filho too good to be true man,i lobe that series
Ysmahely Filho i mean love
Megman 3 is better than 2.
MrSofly2010 Yep.
Doc Robots, a pathetic Willy Castle, and pointless Proto man fights makes me prefer 2 over 3 any day of the week. The only MM games that come close to matching the awesomeness of 2 are 4 and 9.
*H A R D*
BorisStingy THANK YOU , SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH ME !! ( except for megaman 4 , the level design was too dickish ) .
how? the music in 3 sucks. Dr Wily stages are better. Well more iconic. Better Robot names. Metal man > hard man
How is 8 or 7 not on the list that’s the best that mega man looked to me
I can't blame this guy for saying bass wrong when even one of the main series games messed it up.
