Tidal Whale is easy, X3 Sigma was indeed hard especially when you have to escape from the lava. But no one's talking about MMZ4 Dr. Weil's final form, dude has a 2 minute time limit for you to beat him
Other hard Mega Man bosses - High Max & Gate (Mega Man X6) - King & King Tank Segments (Mega Man & Bass) - Sara (Mega Man Legends 2) - Mega Man Juno (Mega Man Legends) - Infinity Mijinon (Mega Man X6) - Lumine (Mega Man X8) - Red (Mega Man X7) - Phoenix Magnion (Mega Man Zero 2) - The Turret Wall Boss (Mega Man 2) - Dynamo Man & Burner Man (Mega Man & Bass)

@marx4538 I faced Nightmare Mother, and I say High Max is bad regardless who you're playing as. The hit detection as X is terrible without the Shadow Armor, which is almost useless at a certain point *after* you defeat High Max. And as Zero, the hit detection works most of the time, but his weakness weapon is the most useless when fighting him unless you stun him while you hit him with Ensuizan. What makes it even worse is the Shadow Armor can cheese High Max.
I think the bubble devils from mega man 9 should have been here, you only get a brief amount of time to attack it and when you do it will fly past you super fast.

Needless to say, I was only able to beat him mostly by luck as X, and I'm curious to know how different Sigma is when playing as Zero.
sigma is super easy as zero. the jump spin attack makes it easy for the gun form and the earth form can be sliced through with the saber-dash-cancel trick. the first two phases are easy regardless of character but that third one can be a pain

But getting it requires that you fulfill a specific set of requirements. 2. Then there's his halo attack. Hope you're not over the pit when you get caught in them, because you WILL die if you do. Plus, the camera still recognizes the full dimension of the room, meaning you won't always be sure when its safe to jump back to the arena when it's not on fire. But the worst part ties into a detrimental design decision. If you wanna maintain a good rank, you have to avoid taking damage and not use cyber elves. Meaning fighting the boss on just your base health bar and NO SUBTANKS. While the later Zero games had 2 subtanks to find in the overworld, ZERO ONE TIED ALL 4 OF THEM TO CYBER ELVES! ON TOP OF ALL OF THE UPGRADES! My advise, GRIND THE E-CRYSTALS AND USE THE CYBER ELVES! 1. Even worse, his weakness is the Wild Coil, the worst weapon in the whole game! As it's jump height is inconsistent, even when fully charged.
Copy X is easier than say, Weil for that specific reason - reaching him without subtanks and base health. It might be a bit annoying, but Zero 1's Zero 1 and he's not that tough if you learn how to deal with him.
Honestly I think the worst part of Wily Capsule 7 is how different orbs affect you in different ways. Getting hit by a fire orb makes you take damage 3 times, and getting hit by an ice orb freezes you in place so you're almost guaranteed to get hit by the next wave of orbs. Figuring out how to dodge all the orbs from every position Wily can appear at is a herculean task, so I try to get hit by the yellow orbs intentionally just so I take the least amount of damage possible. I love Mega Man 7 but that boss gives me nightmares.
Mega Man X6 Gate boss fight. Soooooo annoyingly hard. Death pit, random appearing blocks, only way to damage Gate is to hit his attacks back at him as he flies around.
Yellow Devil isn't even close to being one of the hardest, Tidal Whale is a joke compared to even X5's Kraken, Omega is more tedious than hard, X3's Sigma is one of his easiest forms and Copy X is DEFINITELY easier than say, at least Dr.Weil from Zero 4. Shadow Man also ain't too bad, but he's RNG and 3's controls are poorly programmed, so fair enough. Quick Man, Hidden Phantom (Zero 3) and Block Devil are the only ones I can agree are actually hardest. This list, however, is severely missing X5's Final Sigma W and Volt Kraken (maybe throw in Shadow Devil as well), X6's Nightmare Mother, ZX Advent's Albert (I don't remember much about the ZX series but he is far tougher and takes longer to defeat than Copy X and Omega), CWU-01P from the first game, Wily Machine II from the second (and Boobeam Trap for good measure), 3's Doc Robot Quick and Wood, 6's wall... crawler thing, forgot the name, MM&B's King Tank and Jet, 9's Wily Machine and 10's Solar Man.
Honorable Mentions: *Burner Man - Mega Man and Bass -If I could describe this guy with 2 words, it would be "erratic and unpredictable." And that extends to his battle. He'll dash around the arena, throw bear trap mines, and fire his flamethrower with no discernable rhyme or reason as to when he does what. It's already hard with the buster but what's harder is trying to hit him with his weakness, the ice wall, because you have to use it in a very specific way. You need to shove the ice wall into Burner Man while he's standing still so that it'll shove him into the spikes on the edge of the arena. If he's moving when it hits him, it'll shatter dealing minimal damage. Even worse, the arena is very wide and if Burner Man is off screen, he can't be damaged! Flame Mammoth also had this problem of not taking damage when off screen, but this is even worse. *Aztec Falcon - Mega Man Zero -You need to beat him within the time limit so that the spiked platform you're fighting on doesn't kill the resistance soldiers underneath. He feels more like a boss that you would expect to fight mid-game. But here's the problem. HE'S THE GAME'S FIRST BOSS! This is just a misplaced difficulty spike. *Wily Machine 8 - Mega Man 8 -The first phase isn't too bad, but then there's the Wily Capsule. His projectiles follow the same attack pattern as the Wily Capsule from Mega Man 7. *Violen - Mega Man X2 -ITS THAT DAMN FLAIL ATTACK, IT GETS ME EVERY TIME! He spams this move SO MUCH throughout the fight and it moves in an unpredictable pattern. Making a no damage run next to impossible and dealing with him a nightmare even if you have his weakness weapon. Is it any wonder why his name is one letter off from "Violent? *High Max - Mega Man X6 -This is like a little kid on the playground repeatedly going "Nuh-uh, didn't hurt me! I'm immune!" He's basically immune to ALL ATTACKS! EXCEPT for one VERY SPECIFIC STRATEGY, You need to shoot him with a fully-charged buster shot and then quickly hit him with Blaze Heatnix's weapon before he recovers. *Gate - Mega Man X6 -Much like the aforementioned High Max, he's immune to ALL ATTACKS. Unlike High Max however, the only way to damage him is to destroy the orbs he sends out and make sure he gets caught in the explosion. Buuuuut, the explosion can hurt YOU too. And when you DO damage him, he BARELY TAKES ANY DAMAGE AT ALL! Making matters worse, you're above a bottomless pit with numberous small platforms that can be destroyed by Gate and if a platform reforms on top of you, you die instantly!
High Max isn't weak to just Magma Blade/Shoenzan, he's weak to nearly everything and any form of X has a way to consistently exploit him. If you want an easier time with any form, put your Guard Shell upwards and use the Blade Armor's mach dash upwards right into him to deal huge damage. Gate is a bit tougher, but he's still not that tough, and how the hell do you even manage to have a platform appear on top of you in that fight? Nightmare Mother is harder than both and even Infinity Mijinion is tougher than High Max. Burner Man also isn't that tough compared to some of the other fights in that game.
Though Mega Man 7 was suppose to be very hard, I still really love to hear the music from Cloud Man's stage. I enjoyed it so much in fact that I made my own piano version of it on my channel.
Sigma/Kaiser Sigma are from Mega Man X3, not X. As well as the shown footage of Phantom was from Zero 3, not Zero 1 (he is a hidden boss in 3, but fairly difficult in both games). Surprised about some of these choices, Tidal Whale can be very easy with the given weakness and overall is pretty simple regardless. Quick Man has a soft weakness against crash bomb and can be killed with it in 1-2 explosions. Omega Zero is a pain until you realize that using the buster and just keeping distance makes it much easier. Yellow Devil has the same pattern every time and the pause glitch can kill him fast (in my opinion, the Shadow Devil from X5 is much harder, especially when playing as Zero). I would 100% add Kraft from Zero 4 onto the list, I'd say he's harder than most of the listed bosses, actually a bunch of the Zero 4 bosses were really tough in my opinion. Same with Wily machine 9. Also surprised no Megaman and Bass bosses made the list, Dynamo Man as well as the King bosses deserve a place on here. There's also some tough Battle Network and ZX bosses, but I assume they weren't in mind with the making of this list. Fully agree with Copy X though. His first phase is easy but the second phase feels like a hellish RNG fest, and his EX skill battle makes it significantly harder. Probably wouldn't put him as second hardest but he'd likely be in the top 10 for me
Omega zero was a breeze but copy X I hate him. I haven’t even fought tidal wave and I’m getting triggered from watching this boss. I forgot about phantom ninja I must’ve repressed that pain lol. Oh yeah I forgot omega had 3 phases never mind the first 2 we’re pain but 3rd phase I didn’t struggle.
Wily Capsule 7 (Final boss in MM7) had me have to turn on half-damage mode in the Legacy Collection and still took me multiple hours to beat. It's rather bewildering how insanely difficult that fight is considering all the other bosses in MM7 are on the easier side of the franchise, considering how you can trap most of them in infinite loops when hitting them with their weak weapon. (I.E. Cloud Man getting turned into a bubble over and over with Danger Wrap, Spring Man doing that same easy to dodge extendo-arm attack when hit with Slash Claw, etc.) Also, watching another guy's playthrough of that battle, I found out 2 things. 1: You can hold up on the D-pad to make the wild coil bounce higher (I didn't even know this was a thing and was very confused why everyone said this was his weakness when they'd only hit like 10% of the time. I used Freeze Cracker because it's much more consistent in hitting him.) 2: If you hit Wily with Thunder Bolt, he'll cancel that annoying energy ball attack that's extremely difficult to dodge. (The one with the yellow, red, and blue orbs that are extremely unpredictable)
You missed High Max, Infinity Mijimion, Shield Sheldon, Gate, Sigma (X7), Bright Man, Slash Man, Slash Beast(?), Elec Man, Ice Man (original game), Wily Machine 9, Dynamo Man, Plug Man, Solar Man, Concrate Man, Needle Man, Shadow Man, Jewel Man and Block Man. I don't know why Tidel Whale/Duff Mcwhalen and Kaiser Sigma is there.
You didn’t talk about the devil from Mega man X6 that one is the worst in my opinion. Also some games aren’t labeled like Mega man zero 3 & Mega man X3
1:Yellow Devil 2: Buebeam Trap 3: Doc Man (all of him) 4: Skull Jet 5: Dark Man 6: Wall Walker 7: Wily Capsule (obviously) 8: Wily Capsule (though not nearly as bad as the last time) 9: Skullsaurus 10: Block Devil 11: Yellow Devil MKIII
The heck do you mean tidal whale is a hard boss? I've done countless runs of X5, and all it takes to defeat him is to just hit him with his weakness a few times, and there you go, you've defeated him
I’ve beaten about half of those, namely Yellow Devil, Quick Man, Shadow Man, Duff McWhalen and Block Devil. As far as Quick Man, you’re better off using Crash Bomber on him.
I'm surprised there aren't any bosses from MegaMan 9 shown here. The game itself is insanely hard. Like it could be worse than MegaMan 2 where it's somewhat impossible to get through without taking damage.
Gate from X6? It has about as much BS as the Copy X fight, if not more. Also, any boss from King Stage 2 from Mega Man & Bass. If you haven’t heard of/played the latter, that is understandable.
To anyone having trouble with Wily Capsule 7 Use T.Bolt after you shoot him with the Mega Buster. This will cancel out his elemental attacks and instead shoot the balls that travel on the ground. You're welcome.
Anyone taking on Quick Man without special weapon in harder difficulty has no reason to complain. He is meant to be quick and test your reflexes. Or you bust him up with one or two special weapons.

The hidden Phantom boss fight is from Mega Man Zero 3, not from Mega Man Zero 1. I thought you guys did your research?! And the Sigma boss fight is from Mega Man X 3 and not from Mega Man X 1!
The worst Devil was the one from Mega Man 9. You have to deal with two of them at once. Also of note, King's flying tank with the small scrolling platforms and flash attack is the reason I never beat Mega Man & Bass until adulthood.
Okay, Omega Zero is not harder than shadow man. His first phase is easy, his second phase isn’t hard but not easy, and his third phase is difficult until you realize he’s not too hard to cheese. Phase one and two aren’t too hard to beat without damage, phase three is the only real threat of the fight.
You thought Sigma was bad in X3? Try X5, where he can make a giant purple block on right top of you that depletes most of your health in two hits, and the rest of his attacks are nothing to laugh at either. That's after you fight the upgraded Mavericks including Duff McWhalen, who like the rest now has twice the health and twice as long to spew the long ice blocks that push you into spikes much faster as his desperation move.
FUCK X5's Final Sigma W. I've had so many times where I've dodged the purple blocks perfectly and then he just used it right afterwards screwing me over.
That green dragon from 2 used to own me. I’d pitfall before ever even starting the fight until I eventually got good. Jesus I hated the awesome looking dragon. Also. I’m assuming it’s just because I also got good with Shadow Man or something cause I can Buster only that guy no problem. The man said that he randomly slides at you but that’s not true. It’s a one, two, three SLIDE sort of thing.
I personally find quick man and shadow man super easy. imo the yellow devil isn't hard, the fight is just one heck of an endurance test. block devil is something else though. Sera from MegaMan Legends 2, her 2nd form specifically, can be insanely hard without armour upgrades (especially that bs laser she fires out of her chest, especially when it's coupled with that black hole thing)! also Alpha from Battle Network 3 is a fairly decent challenge
Weil phase 2 from Megaman Zero 4 you have 2 minutes be beat him and if you die you have to redo phase 1 and if you used up your sub tanks then it's gonna be even harder.
this is gonna sound like im kidding, but the mecha dragon from mega man 2 screws me up almost every time. not the battle itself, but the autoscroller leading up to it. i always fall at least once in any given playthrough, i suck so bad at it. im not exaggerating when i say i would rather fight yellow devil glitchless ten times over than have to do that autoscroller.
The Wily Capsule boss fight from Mega Man 7 is so rage inducing, even Mega Man gets really pissed enough to actually want to put an end to Wily's life (honestly, it would save him and the Light Family a lot of trouble). As for Omega, it's actually a really good final boss when you consider it's Zero's original body while Zero himself is his own self in a copy body, with the heart and soul winning out over the superior body in the end. Pretty symbolic if you think about it. As for Tidal Whale, I can think of worse Mavericks to go up against. I *would* say the entirety of Mega Man X7's bosses, but that game sucks a big one anyway so it doesn't count. From an actual good game, probably Storm Owl from Mega Man X4 when going Buster only can be a tough one. Of course, I'm really shocked no Mega Man & Bass fights made it to this list. The King fight would be a serious contender just for how bullshit cumbersome and insane it is, with Burner Man being an honorable mention.
I know, MegaMan & Bass is the hardest that I've played, the whole las floor is like a boos fight with 5 phases, I only made it because of the save states of the emulator (I respawn before King's final phase) I'm not proud of it but that was the only way 🥲
@@user-bs7tj9lj5z If only I had save states. It took me 4 months to beat King Plane. And it was the first time in the game I had to look up weakness tables.

I would HAPPILY face Wily Capsule for an entire day than endure even a fraction of the brutality that Zero 1 and 2 has to dish out.
The list is debateable, to a casual player, some are harder to beat than others, to ones with knowledge can normally be a different case
Honorable Mentions:
*Burner Man - Mega Man and Bass
-If I could describe this guy with 2 words, it would be "erratic and unpredictable." And that extends to his battle.
*Aztec Falcon - Mega Man Zero
-You need to beat him within the time limit so that the spiked platform you're fighting on doesn't kill the resistance soldiers underneath. He feels more like a boss that you would expect to fight mid-game. But here's the problem. HE'S THE GAME'S FIRST BOSS! This is just a misplaced difficulty spike.
*Wily Machine 8 - Mega Man 8
-The first phase isn't too bad, but then there's the Wily Capsule. His projectiles follow the same attack pattern as the Wily Capsule from Mega Man 7.
*Violen - Mega Man X2
-ITS THAT DAMN FLAIL ATTACK, IT GETS ME EVERY TIME! He spams this move SO MUCH throughout the fight and it moves in an unpredictable pattern. Making a no damage run next to impossible and dealing with him a nightmare even if you have his weakness weapon. Is it any wonder why his name is one letter off from "Violent?
*High Max - Mega Man X6
-This is like a little kid on the playground repeatedly going "Nuh-uh, didn't hurt me! I'm immune!" He's basically immune to ALL ATTACKS! EXCEPT for one VERY SPECIFIC STRATEGY, You need to shoot him with a fully-charged buster shot and then quickly hit him with Blaze Heatnix's weapon before he recovers.
*Gate - Mega Man X6
-Much like the aforementioned High Max, he's immune to ALL ATTACKS.
Probably wouldn't put him as second hardest but he'd likely be in the top 10 for me
I was trying to remember if that Sigma was X2 or X3, knew it wasn't X 😂😂
Omega zero was a breeze but copy X I hate him. I haven’t even fought tidal wave and I’m getting triggered from watching this boss. I forgot about phantom ninja I must’ve repressed that pain lol. Oh yeah I forgot omega had 3 phases never mind the first 2 we’re pain but 3rd phase I didn’t struggle.
10 Best Midway Sports Games
Wily Capsule 7 (Final boss in MM7) had me have to turn on half-damage mode in the Legacy Collection and still took me multiple hours to beat. It's rather bewildering how insanely difficult that fight is considering all the other bosses in MM7 are on the easier side of the franchise, considering how you can trap most of them in infinite loops when hitting them with their weak weapon. (I.E. Cloud Man getting turned into a bubble over and over with Danger Wrap, Spring Man doing that same easy to dodge extendo-arm attack when hit with Slash Claw, etc.)
Also, watching another guy's playthrough of that battle, I found out 2 things.
1: You can hold up on the D-pad to make the wild coil bounce higher (I didn't even know this was a thing and was very confused why everyone said this was his weakness when they'd only hit like 10% of the time. I used Freeze Cracker because it's much more consistent in hitting him.)
2: If you hit Wily with Thunder Bolt, he'll cancel that annoying energy ball attack that's extremely difficult to dodge. (The one with the yellow, red, and blue orbs that are extremely unpredictable)
Looks like I'm not the only one who had problems with the Wily Capsule from Mega Man 7.
the sigma fight in the video is from megaman x3 not the original.
Mega Man X3 final stage was really difficult. I couldn't seem to get out of the way of the closing walls.
I recently went back to Mega Man wondering why did I not beat this. Got to the yellow devil again and said oh yeah that’s why
You sure are missing the black devil from x5 but other than that, pretty accurate list
MM1 Pause Glitch: So am I just a joke to you?
Kaiser Sigma's hit box is disgustingly small.
I had a lot of trouble with sigma from mega man x2 and like all the Wily stage bosses from Mega man 7 and the yellow devil.
Oh and don't forget to mention morph moth!
QUICK MAN's AI in Mega Man 2 is all over the place. There's no logic to it at all.
It's almost like they know a new Mega Man game is incoming.....
Kaiser Sigman was X3 not X
low effort videos for my favorite franchise are .. depressing to see
Your videos always have interesting things that make me very excited to watch it
Hidden Phantom from Mega Man Zero was Super Hard and Tough for me to take down. He keeps throwing his Shurikens and Knives everywhere at me!
Could u do top 20 hardest mega man bosses. The hardest for me on Buster only were quick man, shadow man, wood man, pharaoh man and snake man
You didn’t talk about the devil from Mega man X6 that one is the worst in my opinion. Also some games aren’t labeled like Mega man zero 3 & Mega man X3
this list is really questionable..... who played this? and wrote it? shadow man? are you kidding me? easy af.. You got easy bosses as hard? common.
I would also like to see the hardest boss of each Mega Man game. At least from the main series.
1:Yellow Devil
2: Buebeam Trap
3: Doc Man (all of him)
4: Skull Jet
5: Dark Man
6: Wall Walker
7: Wily Capsule (obviously)
8: Wily Capsule (though not nearly as bad as the last time)
9: Skullsaurus
10: Block Devil
11: Yellow Devil MKIII
All the bosses in Mega Man 2 are my favorites. Great job Ty.
The heck do you mean tidal whale is a hard boss? I've done countless runs of X5, and all it takes to defeat him is to just hit him with his weakness a few times, and there you go, you've defeated him
Mega Man 3's GEMINI MAN was problem. And the Doc Robots.
You didn’t mention Bass in Megaman Network Transmission!
How to enrage a Mega Man fan?
Not adding High Max or Gate in a Top Ten Hardest Mega Man boss list.
How to insult MegaMan x fans.
Call the bosses robot masters
They're both not too hard, High Max is one of the easier optional bosses in the series
Everybody gangsta until they see the shadow devil.
I’ve beaten about half of those, namely Yellow Devil, Quick Man, Shadow Man, Duff McWhalen and Block Devil. As far as Quick Man, you’re better off using Crash Bomber on him.
Ok wtf, tidal whale has to be one of the easiest boss of x5
I'm surprised there aren't any bosses from MegaMan 9 shown here. The game itself is insanely hard. Like it could be worse than MegaMan 2 where it's somewhat impossible to get through without taking damage.
Honestly, I love 7, so I got good at _that_ one.
Yeah 7 is enjoyable in it's entirety. Nice well rounded game.
Gate from X6? It has about as much BS as the Copy X fight, if not more. Also, any boss from King Stage 2 from Mega Man & Bass. If you haven’t heard of/played the latter, that is understandable.
2:00 - hardest boss, does it without getting hit lol.
To anyone having trouble with Wily Capsule 7
Use T.Bolt after you shoot him with the Mega Buster. This will cancel out his elemental attacks and instead shoot the balls that travel on the ground.
You're welcome.
Id never played mega man but if i played it id be so merry
Anyone taking on Quick Man without special weapon in harder difficulty has no reason to complain. He is meant to be quick and test your reflexes. Or you bust him up with one or two special weapons.
I am proud to have finished Mega Man 7
Sigma from X3 if you don't get the Z-saber.
Again in X4 if you're playing as Zero.
Which Mega Man boss gave me serious trouble? Definitely Fistleo in MegaMan ZX.
Edit: Okay, I now say as bad as Fistleo is, High Max is even worse.
6:28 you mean Megaman X3, not the first game.
For Hidden Phantom, they actually showed the footage of his Zero 3 fight, not the original

The hidden Phantom boss fight is from Mega Man Zero 3, not from Mega Man Zero 1. I thought you guys did your research?! And the Sigma boss fight is from Mega Man X 3 and not from Mega Man X 1!
I couldn't beat Harpuia or Phantom in Mega Man Zero. They were WAY too hard and too annoying. Fefnir wasn't as bad nor was Leviathan.
The worst Devil was the one from Mega Man 9. You have to deal with two of them at once.
Also of note, King's flying tank with the small scrolling platforms and flash attack is the reason I never beat Mega Man & Bass until adulthood.
Twin Devil is literally one of the easiest devils, he just works in the same pattern each time and has no attacks aside from that.
Imagine calling insanely hard bosses 'bad'
Grab the Ult armor for X a stage or 2 ahead of the final Sigma encounter.
He melts down to a non issue.
FUCK X5's Final Sigma W. I've had so many times where I've dodged the purple blocks perfectly and then he just used it right afterwards screwing me over.
How is Shadow Devil from X5 and for that matter NOTHING from Mega Man & Bass on this list?
The Sigma boss fight is from Megaman X3...
As an mmz player copy x is hard omegas first phase can be done damegeless if shadow dash is equilped
Weil phase 2 from Megaman Zero 4 you have 2 minutes be beat him and if you die you have to redo phase 1 and if you used up your sub tanks then it's gonna be even harder.
I thought Sigma’s second form from Megaman X3 was easy
this is gonna sound like im kidding, but the mecha dragon from mega man 2 screws me up almost every time. not the battle itself, but the autoscroller leading up to it. i always fall at least once in any given playthrough, i suck so bad at it. im not exaggerating when i say i would rather fight yellow devil glitchless ten times over than have to do that autoscroller.
Sigma in X1 is pretty easy to dominate tbh
After 10 or more deaths...
Burner Man is a top shelf Dbag. I’m legitimately surprised he didn’t make the list.
