The suspension and control arms on a BMW Z3 play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and handling of the vehicle. Over time, these components can wear out or become damaged, requiring replacement. Here is a guide to replacing the suspension and control arms on a BMW Z3:
Gather your tools and parts: You will need a jack and jack stands, a lug wrench, a torque wrench, a ball joint press, and the new suspension and control arms.
Lift the vehicle: Use a jack to lift the front or rear of the vehicle (depending on which suspension and control arms you are replacing) and secure it with jack stands.
Remove the old suspension and control arms: Use the lug wrench to remove the bolts securing the old suspension and control arms. Then, use a ball joint press to remove the ball joints from the steering knuckles.
Install the new suspension and control arms: Attach the new suspension and control arms to the vehicle using the bolts and ball joints. Be sure to use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the proper specification.
Repeat the process for the other side: If you are replacing both the front and rear suspension and control arms, repeat the process on the opposite side of the vehicle.
Test the vehicle: Once you have finished replacing the suspension and control arms, test the vehicle to ensure it is handling properly.
By following these steps, you can successfully replace the suspension and control arms on your BMW Z3. This will help maintain the stability and handling of your vehicle, ensuring a smooth and safe ride. So, if you are experiencing handling issues with your BMW Z3, it may be time to replace the suspension and control arms.

I clicked in to see if you waited to have the tires on the ground before you "tightened the tie rods" to see how you did it, because then there is no room, I thought maybe you would push the tires up with a jack or something, but you never showed that part. How did you deal with that? thanks.
what you mean? I tighten the inner with a big wrench and the outer just has a jam nut.
