That was a very impressively fast phone pairing. Very simple.

we luv our 2014 Santa Fe Sport, and we've even got as high as 30mpg on the highway, with the 2.0 liter turbo.

Was that by your own calculation or using the cars computer? Automakers have been known to fudge the numbers.

kma198199 via the car's computer and I double checked manually (distance driven vs gas put in tank), now I was being very frugal and was trying to hyper-mile it out as best I could... but still was pleasantly surprised. Know if you drive it all all fast the turbo motor kills the mileage though... so unless you live in Texas or Florida where its super flat you'll have a hard time getting good numbers outa it on a day to day basis.

***** I've been looking for a ECU controller, like the Power Commander type I use on my various motorcycles, you find something like that for the Santa Fe, let me know please :)

A Cayenne is around $85-150K compared to a SantaFe which is around $40K... it sure better be a lot faster for that price. and give the 13year old a break, at least he is interacting in a nice manner :)

You should also point out that the back seat not only has a 40/20/40 folding option but they slide forward for more cargo room or back for more leg room & also recline. Plus the seats fold flat. My 2014 Sport. 2.0 AWD has been perfect & gets 22.5 or better around town. On the highway, I get anywhere from 27.5-31mpg depending on the speed I have it set at. There are so many pluses to this vehicle that it's hard to find fault when you get to know all that it does.

I don't see why people think that $38,000 is a lot for a vehicle with as many features as this one has, a Ford Edge with all these features is way more, and then there are vehicles like the Chevy Equinox which cost more equipped similarly but don't even offer a lot of the same features like HID headlights, cooled seats, panoramic sunroof amongst other things. My parents have a 2014 Santa Fe 2.0t Limited (Canadian version) and it is a really nice car with TONS of features, Canyon Copper too!

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much cargo room it seemed to have!

Seems to be one of the better vehicles in its class.

***** JD Power rates it better than average in reliability. The Hyundai brand is the highest ranking non-premium brand in initial quality and the Sante-Fe is ranked second in its segment. It also has zero recalls, which seems rare these days. My personal experience with Hyundai has actually been very good.

+Algonquin Newer Toyota's are super unreliable. They don't make them like they used to.

The best Korean turbo? I didn't know turbos were so specifically designated by country of origin. :-)
Sorry Nathan, just giving you a hard time. Thanks for the video.

Omg 38k??? For a Hyundai? No Thank You. If I was looking at an Asian brand car in this vein, I'd spend 38k on a Honda or a Toyota in a friggin heartbeat before a Hyundai. 38k gets you a *very* sweet Highlander with 270hp (V6) also. This is laughable. I'd also be looking at an Escape or an Edge *WAY* before paying this for a Hyundai. (I recently drove an Escape Titanium rental and it was *NICE,* I don't know which EcoBoost engine it had, but it *FLEW* so I guess it had the best one.)
