DOHC me left right nahi, exhaust and intake ke liye separate cams hote hain. DOHC me intake and exhaust valves ki timing independently chala sakte hain.

Thanks you watched and observed very carefully, my statement might be confusing by left and right i mean intake (left), exhaust (right) at 2:29 i mention two camshafts individually controls intake and exhaust, but will take care more going forward that statement should not be confusing. Good observation though thanks man keep watching if you like it and also keep correcting me :)

    I Have a classic 350, now I want to
upgrade to 450 or 650. I am looking
forward to Interceptor 650 Black ray, or go with
the Himalayan 450? I am really confused between
    these two.
And i feel like is it worth buying interceptor 650 at the end of 2024 ( as there are no bigger updates in the bike in the recent times and many are talking about interceptor 750, that will be launched in 2025)
Can you please give a solution

Higher CC interceptor ka abhi kuch confirmation nai hai, and if you are looking for fun to ride bike for highways go for interceptor, but if you are more into off-roading himalayan is best, both bikes are good for long rides but interceptor 650 engine is more fun to ride and you feel instant pull, himalayan is not good at initial pickup as INT but at higher revs it is also good, take test ride of both and decide, thanks for watching snd comments, do subscribe if not done for being connected and keep watching.

    Dear Sir,
I am writing to seek your expert advice on a dilemma I'm facing regarding the purchase of a new motorcycle. Having followed your blog and admired your experience with various bikes, particularly your Interceptor 650, I believe your insights could greatly assist me in making an informed decision.
Recently, I've been contemplating between the Interceptor 650 2024 model and the Shotgun 650. However, I've encountered difficulty in arranging a test ride for the Interceptor 650, as most distributors seem to be prioritizing the Shotgun 650 or the Super Meteor 650 for test rides. Consequently, I was compelled to test ride the Shotgun 650, which left a remarkable impression on me, surpassing even the Super Meteor 650 in my opinion.
Nonetheless, I find myself torn due to several factors, the foremost being the substantial price disparity between the Interceptor 650 and the Shotgun 650. The difference of approximately ₹65,000/- prompts me to ponder whether the Shotgun 650 justifies this additional cost. Furthermore, the Shotgun 650 being a new entrant in the market, I am apprehensive about its long-term performance and the associated maintenance charges.
Given your extensive experience as a rider, particularly with the Interceptor 650, I would greatly appreciate your guidance in this matter. Could you kindly share your thoughts on whether the Shotgun 650 offers comparable value to the Interceptor 650? Additionally, based on your experience, how do you perceive the long-term reliability and maintenance costs of the Shotgun 650 compared to the Interceptor 650?
Your insights would immensely aid me in making a well-informed decision. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
    Warm regards,
    Sudipta Ganguly

First of all thanks for watching and comments,
And in my view with in all three INT 650, Shotgun and super meteor, Interceptor 650 is more versatile, due to its riding posture and weight.
Both Shotgun and super meteor is more in weight, and their riding posture can cause issues in long ride but on Interceptor long ride is more comfortable.
Engine is exact same so power to weight ratio is more in INT so it will be little fast then both ShotGun and Super Meteor, mantainence wise all should be same.
But ShotGun and Super meteor are with advance features like usd folks and newer instrumental console and broader tyres and also with new mordern look and feel.
Verdict: if you want versatile bike which you can ride in traffic, highways and occational off road Interceptor 650 is on top of all, but you want morden look you can go for ShotGun, as SuperMeteor is purpose specific bike difficult to handle in traffic and on long run its position feels uncomfortable as you don't have room to adjust.
Mantainence cost should be same for all, even INT will have less due to less electronics.
At the end please do consider subscribing if you like the video and watch my video (ruclips.net/video/qt3hzFzba_A/видео.html) to see the INT 650 offroading performance there you find super meteor 650 also and riders were struggling on bad patches, and this (ruclips.net/video/rKfQ9faVTL4/видео.html) to get idea about INT 650 overall user experience.

I am confused b/w himalayan 450 and interceptor 650, purpose is to do highway cruising with a pillion. Not much of city rides. Off-road only if it is in way to reach destination. what do you suggest?

    • @YogendraKirar0212
      @YogendraKirar0212  Месяц назад

Hi brother as per your requirement I suggest Interceptor, because INT is more fun to ride on highways, and can can handle rough patches also easily, himalayan is built for hardcore off roading, and also having single cylinder engine, but on highway high speeds you will really enjoy INT twin cylinder smoothness, in case of pillion only one thing you need to take care, if pillion height is good then sitting position is not that much comfortable on INT due to rear foot-pegs position due to upswift exhausts on both side, so suggesting better to take test ride with pillion and if it feels comfortable then go for Interceptor in place of himalayan, it will give smile on your face every time when you take it out on open roads, hope this helps, thanks for watching and comments, do subscribe if not done for being connected and keep watching 🤛🏻

Hi Brother, specially i have not mentioned the refinement and vibrations, because INT is more thann 6 years old now and we all know that is the smothiest engine of RE made ever at that time, but as you asked i can say it is very smooth engine vibrations are very less and feels only after 4-5k rmp but those are also minimal, overall the bike is very smooth and feels stress free upto around 120 kmph post that some vibrations are there, thanks for watching and comments, do subscribe if not done for being connected and keep watching.

With fun to ride i mean if you twist throttle even little bit bike should respond and this response is much more in INT 650 due to high torque in low rpm engine tuning this feeling really brings smile on face and fun in riding , but if we talk about himalayan torque comes in high rpm, which always not the case you only accelerate hard when needed, I hope it clears about my fun to ride statement 🤘🏻, thanks for watching and comments, stay connected for exciting motovlog videos.

Hi brother thanks for watching and comments, actually these both motorcycles himalayan and meteor 650 are for built for non city rides, but even if you want any one of these, as per your mentioned use, i suggest go for himalayan as it is allrounder and easy to manage in city traffic if you are having it in your area, on other side meteor 650 will feel bulky in city and also you will not be able to feel complete 650cc engine potential there, and there is price difference too, rest all depends on your choice brother go and take test ride of both bikes in your regular commute area and decide, for Highway weekend ride both are good you can pick anyone, hope this helps you, be connected and keep watching.

Bro i am himalayan 411 owner, and i want to upgrade, I want good comfortable cruising speed almost 130kmph and good handelling and comfort, so what should I choose?? The 411 has very good handelling and doing uturns were very easy, but it was heavy so filtering through traffic was a bit difficult, also i stay outside of india, so the roads have higher speed limits and lesser congestion. Should I wait for the new himalayan or go for the interceptor?

So the place where you are living new Himalayan 450 is not yet available?? Interceptor is very good bike to consider if new Himalayan 450 is not available because it can fulfil your need of speed and also comfortable but again Himalayan is designed for long distance touring with proper upright position so if your priority is long distance touring then better to wait for new Himalayan 450 if RE have plan to launch in your location in future and if you can wait. I suggest Himalayan, for commuting and sometimes if you feel you can go long distances also. I feel It has better weight management than INT 650, so easy to move and due to less capacity engine in comparison with INT you will get more mileage, but one important thing with Himalayan which can be deciding factor for most of the people is its seat height, which is much more than INT. Suggesting you to go and take test ride by yourself and see the seating position, but overall it feels much lighter than INT 650.
