I agree with your theory of Brain's Heart time travelling after going to sleep after being taken over... but it might also be that the deal happened so that would be the plan
One problem with that theory: There were only two pods left in the room where Luxu and Brain spoke. And we know from subsequent cutscenes that Ephemer and Skuld used those last two remaining pods. So Luxu couldn't have sent Brain's heart into the future. Something else has to be going on here.

KH tends to try and explain everything (if not a bit convoluted or late) traveling either physically or temporally has something that drives it. darkness has corridors, the island trio has the gummi ship, bbs trio has the keyblade vehicles. even the life boats got the union leaders to places. but brain just appearing there is different
@@urbatin9355 it definitely is different. What I think is that Luxu may have used his body temporarily and sent him to the future there through a corridor somehow. I hope we get to see this expanded upon in the next Kingdom Hearts title
The part about Luxu and Brain making a compromise and deal of some sort is also the theory I believe. And I think however Luxu swapped bodies, it's not something bad in the way we're lead to believe at the moment. It's all interesting though.

I was thinking Luxu sent brain’s heart into the future then took control of brain’s body. It could be that Luxu knew that the proper conditions would be met for time travel (item of significance-brains hat, memories of the person) so Brain’s heart would form into a body into the future version of Scala. I think brain would agree to this if he knew it would help the Master. Also I was thinking braig is the adult version of brain because of how similar they look. It kind of makes sense because if at some point Luxu started going by braig instead of brain and later xigbar. Maybe this is what he meant by different semblances?

That’s wrong for the Braig being an adult Brain body. Doesn’t really make sense...semblances means. A different form or appearance of something. Also....how would that explain, the body to still be young for hundreds of years. An an irrefutable fact, Luxu says himself, in Report 13 of KH3 “it looks like this body and name will be my LAST...the lives I’ve lived could fill volumes but for now I have to focus on what matters most” so the Xigbar body is not Brains body.
One thing that always seemed very odd to me with Luxu is that he doesen't say vessels but semblances, very different words. There is also the secret report. Luxu didn't pass his keyblade onto Brain and then exit using the lifeboat. In fact that report describes the interaction between Brain and Ephemer PREFECTLY. I really do think that this ability is something different to what we have seen with Xehanort. I'm also starting to think that Braig was never a person to begin with but always Luxu. That would explain the use of the word semblances. A semblance would be closer to a form created to house his heart, similar to a replica. Where a vessel would be a container that just happens to have his heart inside it, like Xehanort.

@@gracekim25 I'm pretty confident that the one in Scala is Brain and not Luxu. I'm thinking that it's either a situation of Luxu took Brains body and somehow extracted his heart and put it in the arc. Or something that ties into the idea of a semblance in that Luxu is able to create a copy of the original/transform himself into the original. I'm thinking of how this could tie into the idea of Luxu representing the sin of Lust but it would be closer to envy. (Unless ofcourse Luxu just has a thing for good looking young men with long black hair) AKA Brain and Braig. Not sure on that part yet.
I had a similar theory, but it just didnt go as far as to the whole "saving Brain" thing, but I do like that addition. It seems to make sense right now
Luxu never took over brains body. He said himself in kh3 secret reports that he will pass his keyblade down to a union leader. NOT take their body, but pass his blade down and just watch what unfolds because if thats the case why not just keep the keyblade to himself and just body swap with keyblade in hand? He also stated in the reports that hes kept watch and not intervened up until the xehanort saga as braig
If I remember correctly Xehanort says in BBS the body snatching Technique only requires the heart of the individual performing the technique to be stronger than the heart of individual who own the body they are in. Seeing as it is Xehanort and not Luxu or someone who trained directly under M.O.M probably did not know that the owner of the body could allow the person seeking to transfer their heart and Mind, to willingly take control of their body. As to why Brain is still young in the future. I don’t think bodies with a heart transferred into them or bodies with two hearts in them don’t age. Shakey Evidence for that, Terra, or maybe Ventus, since when Ventus lost his heart his body did not age for 10 years. Or, and, this would make more sense, based off the whole thing with Nobodies. Maybe when a transferred heart like Luxu’s leaves a host body anything the transferred heart experienced is removed from the host, including age. Maybe in order to Transfer his heart to Brain’s body Luxu has to put Brain’s heart to sleep like Sora’s did at the end of Dream Drop Distance.
So, I don't think this is a special Xehanort/Luxu ability. I think its an ability of a Master Keyblade wielder. Eraqus jumps into Terra's armour, Xehanort jumps into Terra, and even Sora was riding in other people's bodies during the RE:Mind. If there is a condition, it probably has to do with the strength of the heart you're jumping into. I'm guessing based off of Luxu/Xigbar, Braig didn't have the strength of heart to summon a keyblade. Something I think people are overlooking is Luxu was already a master, which means he has his keyblade. He's playing the long game by pretending to not have a keyblade or his guns are a transformed keyblade, something a master could do.

@@RealJokerGaming I think the guns were the second form of his true keyblade. Marluxia is the scythe and so on. The people we know to have come from the past after definitely master level wielders and we know Luxu was a master. It was one my theories after seeing the first transformations of Sora's keyblade.
The issue I have with this theory is based on the character that gives it any semblance of merit. Terra went through this process with Xehanort. He was aware of what Xehanort was doing with his body and had been fighting against Xehanort to regain control. Brain doesn't seem to have a clue about what is going on at all. I personally subscribe to the theory that Brain is the data copy of Luxu for 3 reasons. 1. Luxu had no need to get a new body at this time, he like the foretellers should have been realitivly young. By his implied swaps he switched when his current form was getting too old. 2. Even is Luxu possessed Brain and then Brain reformed after Luxu left his body he shouldn't have reformed that far into the future. If he was split into a Nobody and Heartless and then strategically killed in both forms to reform him then he should have some memories as a nobody like every other nobody who befell this fate. 3. Earlier in The Dandelions chapter of union cross we had events surrounding Brain that don't add up to the character we know. These moments contradict the character but could easily be explained as Luxu doing those acts and then releasing the Data version of Brain/himself with some data altered to take the place after he completed his objectives. This was seen as Brain studying the book of prophesies in the union leaders room, him declaring for the first time that he is the virus and the questioning of Ava. We won't know the truth until Namora directly tells us but I honestly don't think Luxu possessed Brain.
just came from your new vid. on this one, we almost completely agree about luxu's motivation, but i dont think he actually told brain what was going on, but rather used the confusion n desperation brain was feeling to get into his heart. reassuring him or telling him there’s a plan wouldn't work with that, but thinking you are the last hope for your friends n then one of the masters apprentices telling you this is where you die, that totally would, especially with him not even having his keyblade to think about fighting back.
All I’m saying is the answer is clearly in our face …Xehanort and Terra is the answer…it’s made obvious lol ..,.,the right conditions are met ….Terra is from a whole other timeline….brought forward in time through Xehanort..fam …
My theory is Luxu at last was too good to follow MoM plan, so after he meet Brain, could have made a deal with him to "tranfer" his role to him, thus betraying even the will of the master. So in my mind the timeline can be -> Luxu meet Brain, dont take his body but tell him whats the role is and how to tranfer to a vessel -> Brain aka Luxu go to the graveyard to hidden the black box -> Brain as supposed travel to Scala becoming the Keyblade Master of the city, and then Tranfering himself to someone else, maybe Bragi (?). My theory is supported by one very important things, the character Behavior... Luxu is a kind guy, a little bit naive, as well Brain is smart, cynical and is willing to do anything to achieve his goals. Now thinking about Braig, is very cynical and smart as well as Brain. Is true 1000 years can trasform a complete naive to a complete cynical, but how can a kind guy like Luxu become that rude and cynic? I can more easily think that a good guy like Luxu could have taken the opportunity to think:" you know what? fuck you master, I don't want to be a puppet in your twisted plan, I have this guy who is smart, not afraid to get his hands dirty, I'll leave my task to him and keep my conscience clear."
Here is what I think happened here me out so I think Luxu released Brain’s heart because remember with releasing a heart that causes a person’s to create a Heartless and a Nobody when that happened Luxu probably Snatch’s Brain’s Nobody body and somewhere later down the line they defeated Brain’s Heartless and farther down the line Luxu probably sacrifice Brain’s Nobody body while switching bodies which officially causes Brain’s Nobody and Heartless body to be defeated which causes Brain’s original heart to return from where it was taken which causes Brain to officially return to his original body in that present time when Scala Ad Caelum was created which causes Brain to appear there at that time because remember in Kh Ddd when Lea(Axel) returned to his original body once Axel was officially defeated which causes Lea to appear back in the present time of Kingdom Hearts from the original spot that his heart was split and also another thing to think about is that we don’t know if Luxu snatches Braig or Xigbar body because remember Nobodies have hearts as well so I feel like this could very much well be the case in how Brain returned.
I would put Brain's heartless at being defeated later than his nobody being destroyed as it would have taken more than a lifetime for Scala Ad Calem to have been built to that level.
This made me think a little and i got a thought its completely crazy buuuut.. what if Yozroa is Luxu's real body with Brains heart inside? When Master Xehanort takes Terras body his heart goes into his armor so this shows that body swapping removes the heart from the host but those with strong hearts can plant their hearts into other beings so what if when Luxu took Brains body he just did a complete swap placing Brains heart into his body.. Luxu could have done this to make sure every peice is in place.. when Ephemer make Scala and we see Braim show up this could be Luxu pretending to be Brain to put his plan in motion. When Sora fight Yozora he says that that body is not his and someone told him to "save sora" maybe upon the body swap Luxu told Brain his plan and everything that needs to follow meaning Luxu would know Sora would be in need of "saving" so he tasks Brain (who is in Luxu's body) as Yozora to watch over and save Sora if needed
I feel like Luxu and Yozora are different just because Yozora comes from the world of Quadratum. Or at least has been there. I don't think we've seen anything saying that Luxu has been to the world is unreality. However, this theory could potentially still be true, there is so much more we don't know. Actually I was kinda thinking the same thing, that maybe Brain agreed for Luxu to take his body. As for the theory that Luxu has to make a deal with someone before taking their body, that is interesting. It would be an interesting system, and I think that could be the reason that we didn't actually see Luxu take Brain's body, we saw Luxu appear in Brain's body after the fact. However, I'm still wondering which of the Union leaders Luxu gave the No name keyblade to as it was said that he did in the KH3 secret reports. At first I thought, well maybe what it meant by bequeathing it was that he took Brain's body, so now he is wielding no name through one of the Union leader's bodies, technically bequeathing it. However, I remembered that the secret report also notes that afterwards, Luxu departs from the land keybladeless, so maybe Luxu bequeaths it to either Ephemer in the future, or the Brain that ends up in Scala ad Caelum in the final scene of Union X? Idk, there's a lot of stuff about this update that still needs clearing up.
I have two theories: 1. Luxu was "made" by the master using Brain's heart (like Xehanort made Vanitas through Ven's). I'm based on the fact that Luxu has the same voice (Back Cover) when he talks with MoM and when we see him in that scene saying for himself "May my heart be my guiding key". The same voice, don't never change (Xigbar voice is different, I mean). 2. The other one is that he was able to steal or deal with Brain for usurp his body, sending Brain's heart to the future (we now know that Scala is empty of people, but we see life in the city when Brain appears. That's not the past, Sigurd says that Brain is the only one who was landed to this time, so I guess Brain appears in a Scala ad Caelul of the future, after Sora disappears). So it's possible that Xigbar gave Sigurd his hat and his name, so that's the way Brain could land on Scala at the future, keeping his memories (I think Elrena, Lauriam and Skuld turned into nobodies cause they had not a body or a memory in the futuro -unlike Maleficent, Luxu, or MoM, and loose their hearts. But Ven not cause Sora kept it. And about Ephemera... I don't know if the book has something to do with that...
Pretty interesting theory. As far as Scala ad Caelum goes tho, I don't think it was ever void of any living inhabitants due to Xehanort, Eraqus and Master Odin's students all being trained there. Brain awakening there in the present after Sora disappeared in Kingdom Hearts 3 is honestly very possible. However, this version of Scala ad Caelum looks so different. It could be a future version of the world. Or it might just be before Xehanort and the others arrived.
No body hopping occurred. It would contradict the reports. The person with the box and keyblade is Brain. Xigbar doesn’t know the specific location of the box because he asked Brain to hide it for him. The box is hidden in a way that it would only appear after the last page of the Book of Prophecies would play out. That was the moment Sora rewrote time. Brain ends up in Scala an Caelum, but not the one that we know. Out of sheer curiosity, he has opened the Box, and was transported to another time/space. The box contains a portal. If he has the Master’s key and the box, he has the means to open it, and that’s implying the box is even locked. The Master told Luxu he could never open it, but that doesn’t go for anyone else who might find out about the box.
Why would Brain open the box? I'm a bit lost here since Brain was never left with the box. Luxu is the only one with access to the box. The Master already told Luxu what was in the box so he'd have no reason to open it.

If you played Dark Road, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum echo the Walrus and the Carpenter, else a story about curious oysters. Luxu, who is Xigbar, doesn’t know where the box is- how does one explain that? The Master didn’t tell Luxu what’s in the box, as the scene continues he gives him a very vague hint about Daybreak Town coming to an end.
@@RealJokerGaming I don’t believe we have any statement that says it was Luxu who *hid* the box. The temptation to find out what’s inside is too great for anyone to resist, especially someone who has existed for ages. If you wish to avoid temptation to say eat something, you need someone else to help hold your accountable.Therefore, the real conspiracy between Luxu and Brain is that he asked Brain to hide it for him. Why though? Because Luxu didn’t read the book and Brain read the whole thing. Brain would know the optimal way to hide it so that Luxu could retrieve it after Darkness prevails over the Guardians of Light. Maleficent even realized that this box isn’t gonna show up until after the war. The box is a portal, and the reason Luxu specifically wasn’t allowed to open it is because it would have an effect like the time machine and displace him from where he needs to be in the timeline.
Why wouldnt Luxu's body taking technique be the same one as Xehanorts. Xehanort took over Terra's body, yet Terra could still control his body abit until Xehanort severed Terra from the body. He could have done this with brain, but allowed him to have control for a while.
You know it never showed the conclusion to luxu vs darkness I think one of them is already with him and that’s why he carelessly stole brains body and has yellow eyes later
So was Luxu already possessing Braig body during Birth By Sleep or did he possessed him after ? And if a Nobody heart returns after his death, is Braig actually back inside is body ? Or did he found a place into is heartless self ? This part is kinda fuzzy
I must say the deal thing sounds cool. Well it’s not really my idea per say ...but I did get the impression that maybe Luxu took his body and had Brain himself sent a few years after UX when Elphemer is dead and gets reformed or something 🤷♀️ I assume that After that last scene he eventually has a child with someone eventually leading to Eraqus 🤔 but it’s a guess 😅 theories are fun though 🤩
There's a small detail that I've not seen brought up anywhere else, and it's either a plot hole or it disproves the possession theory. They key could lie in the dub actors. Max Mittelman dubbed Luxu when he still was with the MoM, and also at the end of Back Cover, i.e. while in the Keyblade Graveyard with the box and No Name. If that scene took place after Union X, how could Luxu have retained the same voice (Max's) if he had already changed bodies by then? I think this tells us 2 things: 1) Either they kept Max's voice to make the character easily recognizable even though he had already possessed someone else (which is a plot hole or at least inconsistent). 2) Or the scene takes place before Union X and Luxu already looked like Brain before the start of Season 2. Which raises the question, who is Brain exactly? A twin, a clone?
This is definitely one of the theories I was thinking of earlier. I feel like it could possibly be this. But here's the thing, I feel like that's a red herring meant to throw us off
well, they changed Terra's voice the moment he was possessed by Xehanort, even still being the same body... although, isn't Xehanort's voice, but a new one... (it's Ansem's... somehow, the heartless inherited the new voice, XD ) I don't think is a big problem Luxu keep his voice, even if was already changed body on that scene... although I really don't think they had thought that far when Back Cover was made, and were considering that was the same Luxu with his original body...
@@Zanmakenninotachii Well, in that case, that'd be possession -> different voice, which would be logical. On the other hand, here we'd have the fact that Luxu kept the same voice after changing bodies, which would be the other way around in comparison to Terra's case. If that's the case, then it'd be a plot hole, or a cheap way to conceal the character's true identity. We'll have to see in the next games if this theory is right.
If you remember, during xigbar's death in kh3 he says he is worthy of a keyblade and that the 'old coot' promised to beneath him his, or else why would he put up with all his nonsense. Maybe that was the real xigbar that was refering to luxu. Perhaps he had a deal with him, his body for a keyblade.

And I just remembered that in the previous update of Khux luxu send a white coat somewhere with an arc. Maybe a vessel for brain?

We definitely rule out that Luxu never passed on the keyblade to Brain. However, as we were told that Xigbar has passed on to many "semblances" as in "appearances" so this definitely tells us that he had taken over Brain body in order to live out his role until the Gazing eye was passed on to a boy with dark intentions. What probably confuses people is if that is Luxu taking Brains form, than why was Brain in Scala Ad Caelum? Well we have to remember one thing, the last time was saw Scala Ad Caelum was when Sora opened a portal in Xehanorts heart in order to visit to Scala Ad Caelum, perhaps this is the same method that Luxu and Brain were able to use, Luxu transfers Brain heart into SAC, while Luxu takes the vessel of Brain, whattya guys think?

I think Luxu's true identity is a time-traveling Brain. This would also allow him to truly be the virus to MoMs plan. Heres the reason why, Luxu had NO reason to body swap at the end of UX. His body wasnt old, or dying or anything. Why would he take brains body?
That's a pretty good point but remember, the world was going to be destroyed while Brain would have stayed back. So I'm assuming this would save Brain's life solely. Luxu being a future Brain could still be possible though
the saddess for me is union x. every keyblade died for nothing. Brain Ephemeer Skuld Lauriam Ventus Lauriam Elrene got separated everyone died except for Brain Skuld (subject x) maybe?🤔Lauriam Elrene n ven the player sacrificed himself to protect his friends so they can escape now his trapped w 4 darkness n died he even cried 😢 n Brain body got stolen maybe bc of Luxu n i think his dead. Xehanort story is sad all of his friends died but not sad what happened to union x

KH tends to try and explain everything (if not a bit convoluted or late) traveling either physically or temporally has something that drives it. darkness has corridors, the island trio has the gummi ship, bbs trio has the keyblade vehicles. even the life boats got the union leaders to places. but brain just appearing there is different
@@urbatin9355 it definitely is different. What I think is that Luxu may have used his body temporarily and sent him to the future there through a corridor somehow. I hope we get to see this expanded upon in the next Kingdom Hearts title

I was thinking Luxu sent brain’s heart into the future then took control of brain’s body. It could be that Luxu knew that the proper conditions would be met for time travel (item of significance-brains hat, memories of the person) so Brain’s heart would form into a body into the future version of Scala. I think brain would agree to this if he knew it would help the Master. Also I was thinking braig is the adult version of brain because of how similar they look. It kind of makes sense because if at some point Luxu started going by braig instead of brain and later xigbar. Maybe this is what he meant by different semblances?

That’s wrong for the Braig being an adult Brain body. Doesn’t really make sense...semblances means. A different form or appearance of something. Also....how would that explain, the body to still be young for hundreds of years. An an irrefutable fact, Luxu says himself, in Report 13 of KH3 “it looks like this body and name will be my LAST...the lives I’ve lived could fill volumes but for now I have to focus on what matters most” so the Xigbar body is not Brains body.
One thing that always seemed very odd to me with Luxu is that he doesen't say vessels but semblances, very different words. There is also the secret report. Luxu didn't pass his keyblade onto Brain and then exit using the lifeboat. In fact that report describes the interaction between Brain and Ephemer PREFECTLY.
I really do think that this ability is something different to what we have seen with Xehanort. I'm also starting to think that Braig was never a person to begin with but always Luxu. That would explain the use of the word semblances. A semblance would be closer to a form created to house his heart, similar to a replica. Where a vessel would be a container that just happens to have his heart inside it, like Xehanort.

I'm thinking that it's either a situation of Luxu took Brains body and somehow extracted his heart and put it in the arc. Or something that ties into the idea of a semblance in that Luxu is able to create a copy of the original/transform himself into the original.
I'm thinking of how this could tie into the idea of Luxu representing the sin of Lust but it would be closer to envy. (Unless ofcourse Luxu just has a thing for good looking young men with long black hair) AKA Brain and Braig. Not sure on that part yet.

Luxu never took over brains body. He said himself in kh3 secret reports that he will pass his keyblade down to a union leader. NOT take their body, but pass his blade down and just watch what unfolds because if thats the case why not just keep the keyblade to himself and just body swap with keyblade in hand?
He also stated in the reports that hes kept watch and not intervened up until the xehanort saga as braig
I feel like Luxu either kidnapped Brain or knocked him out and body hopped into Brain unconscious body and then ditched him in Scala ad Calem
If I remember correctly Xehanort says in BBS the body snatching Technique only requires the heart of the individual performing the technique to be stronger than the heart of individual who own the body they are in. Seeing as it is Xehanort and not Luxu or someone who trained directly under M.O.M probably did not know that the owner of the body could allow the person seeking to transfer their heart and Mind, to willingly take control of their body.
As to why Brain is still young in the future. I don’t think bodies with a heart transferred into them or bodies with two hearts in them don’t age. Shakey Evidence for that, Terra, or maybe Ventus, since when Ventus lost his heart his body did not age for 10 years. Or, and, this would make more sense, based off the whole thing with Nobodies. Maybe when a transferred heart like Luxu’s leaves a host body anything the transferred heart experienced is removed from the host, including age. Maybe in order to Transfer his heart to Brain’s body Luxu has to put Brain’s heart to sleep like Sora’s did at the end of Dream Drop Distance.
So, I don't think this is a special Xehanort/Luxu ability. I think its an ability of a Master Keyblade wielder. Eraqus jumps into Terra's armour, Xehanort jumps into Terra, and even Sora was riding in other people's bodies during the RE:Mind. If there is a condition, it probably has to do with the strength of the heart you're jumping into. I'm guessing based off of Luxu/Xigbar, Braig didn't have the strength of heart to summon a keyblade. Something I think people are overlooking is Luxu was already a master, which means he has his keyblade. He's playing the long game by pretending to not have a keyblade or his guns are a transformed keyblade, something a master could do.

@@RealJokerGaming I think the guns were the second form of his true keyblade. Marluxia is the scythe and so on. The people we know to have come from the past after definitely master level wielders and we know Luxu was a master. It was one my theories after seeing the first transformations of Sora's keyblade.

Luxu stealing others bodies is an ability keyblade masters have. Xehanort uses the exact same skill on terra, it’s not a big mystery.
The Terra possession is why I don't think Luxu possessed Brain to be honest.
The issue I have with this theory is based on the character that gives it any semblance of merit. Terra went through this process with Xehanort. He was aware of what Xehanort was doing with his body and had been fighting against Xehanort to regain control. Brain doesn't seem to have a clue about what is going on at all.
I personally subscribe to the theory that Brain is the data copy of Luxu for 3 reasons.
1. Luxu had no need to get a new body at this time, he like the foretellers should have been realitivly young. By his implied swaps he switched when his current form was getting too old.
2. Even is Luxu possessed Brain and then Brain reformed after Luxu left his body he shouldn't have reformed that far into the future. If he was split into a Nobody and Heartless and then strategically killed in both forms to reform him then he should have some memories as a nobody like every other nobody who befell this fate.
3. Earlier in The Dandelions chapter of union cross we had events surrounding Brain that don't add up to the character we know. These moments contradict the character but could easily be explained as Luxu doing those acts and then releasing the Data version of Brain/himself with some data altered to take the place after he completed his objectives. This was seen as Brain studying the book of prophesies in the union leaders room, him declaring for the first time that he is the virus and the questioning of Ava.
We won't know the truth until Namora directly tells us but I honestly don't think Luxu possessed Brain.
This contradicts the secret reports tho, because I was thinking Luxu simply gave the keyblade and box to him.
just came from your new vid. on this one, we almost completely agree about luxu's motivation, but i dont think he actually told brain what was going on, but rather used the confusion n desperation brain was feeling to get into his heart. reassuring him or telling him there’s a plan wouldn't work with that, but thinking you are the last hope for your friends n then one of the masters apprentices telling you this is where you die, that totally would, especially with him not even having his keyblade to think about fighting back.
All I’m saying is the answer is clearly in our face …Xehanort and Terra is the answer…it’s made obvious lol ..,.,the right conditions are met ….Terra is from a whole other timeline….brought forward in time through Xehanort..fam …
My theory is Luxu at last was too good to follow MoM plan, so after he meet Brain, could have made a deal with him to "tranfer" his role to him, thus betraying even the will of the master.
So in my mind the timeline can be -> Luxu meet Brain, dont take his body but tell him whats the role is and how to tranfer to a vessel -> Brain aka Luxu go to the graveyard to hidden the black box -> Brain as supposed travel to Scala becoming the Keyblade Master of the city, and then Tranfering himself to someone else, maybe Bragi (?).
My theory is supported by one very important things, the character Behavior... Luxu is a kind guy, a little bit naive, as well Brain is smart, cynical and is willing to do anything to achieve his goals.
Now thinking about Braig, is very cynical and smart as well as Brain. Is true 1000 years can trasform a complete naive to a complete cynical, but how can a kind guy like Luxu become that rude and cynic?
I can more easily think that a good guy like Luxu could have taken the opportunity to think:" you know what? fuck you master, I don't want to be a puppet in your twisted plan, I have this guy who is smart, not afraid to get his hands dirty, I'll leave my task to him and keep my conscience clear."

It definitely was, I honestly think I might be into something here with this one. And you know that my theories tend to come true at times.
Here is what I think happened here me out so I think Luxu released Brain’s heart because remember with releasing a heart that causes a person’s to create a Heartless and a Nobody when that happened Luxu probably Snatch’s Brain’s Nobody body and somewhere later down the line they defeated Brain’s Heartless and farther down the line Luxu probably sacrifice Brain’s Nobody body while switching bodies which officially causes Brain’s Nobody and Heartless body to be defeated which causes Brain’s original heart to return from where it was taken which causes Brain to officially return to his original body in that present time when Scala Ad Caelum was created which causes Brain to appear there at that time because remember in Kh Ddd when Lea(Axel) returned to his original body once Axel was officially defeated which causes Lea to appear back in the present time of Kingdom Hearts from the original spot that his heart was split and also another thing to think about is that we don’t know if Luxu snatches Braig or Xigbar body because remember Nobodies have hearts as well so I feel like this could very much well be the case in how Brain returned.

I would put Brain's heartless at being defeated later than his nobody being destroyed as it would have taken more than a lifetime for Scala Ad Calem to have been built to that level.
This made me think a little and i got a thought its completely crazy buuuut.. what if Yozroa is Luxu's real body with Brains heart inside? When Master Xehanort takes Terras body his heart goes into his armor so this shows that body swapping removes the heart from the host but those with strong hearts can plant their hearts into other beings so what if when Luxu took Brains body he just did a complete swap placing Brains heart into his body.. Luxu could have done this to make sure every peice is in place.. when Ephemer make Scala and we see Braim show up this could be Luxu pretending to be Brain to put his plan in motion. When Sora fight Yozora he says that that body is not his and someone told him to "save sora" maybe upon the body swap Luxu told Brain his plan and everything that needs to follow meaning Luxu would know Sora would be in need of "saving" so he tasks Brain (who is in Luxu's body) as Yozora to watch over and save Sora if needed
I feel like Luxu and Yozora are different just because Yozora comes from the world of Quadratum. Or at least has been there. I don't think we've seen anything saying that Luxu has been to the world is unreality. However, this theory could potentially still be true, there is so much more we don't know. Actually I was kinda thinking the same thing, that maybe Brain agreed for Luxu to take his body. As for the theory that Luxu has to make a deal with someone before taking their body, that is interesting. It would be an interesting system, and I think that could be the reason that we didn't actually see Luxu take Brain's body, we saw Luxu appear in Brain's body after the fact.
However, I'm still wondering which of the Union leaders Luxu gave the No name keyblade to as it was said that he did in the KH3 secret reports. At first I thought, well maybe what it meant by bequeathing it was that he took Brain's body, so now he is wielding no name through one of the Union leader's bodies, technically bequeathing it. However, I remembered that the secret report also notes that afterwards, Luxu departs from the land keybladeless, so maybe Luxu bequeaths it to either Ephemer in the future, or the Brain that ends up in Scala ad Caelum in the final scene of Union X? Idk, there's a lot of stuff about this update that still needs clearing up.

I have two theories:
1. Luxu was "made" by the master using Brain's heart (like Xehanort made Vanitas through Ven's). I'm based on the fact that Luxu has the same voice (Back Cover) when he talks with MoM and when we see him in that scene saying for himself "May my heart be my guiding key". The same voice, don't never change (Xigbar voice is different, I mean).
2. The other one is that he was able to steal or deal with Brain for usurp his body, sending Brain's heart to the future (we now know that Scala is empty of people, but we see life in the city when Brain appears. That's not the past, Sigurd says that Brain is the only one who was landed to this time, so I guess Brain appears in a Scala ad Caelul of the future, after Sora disappears). So it's possible that Xigbar gave Sigurd his hat and his name, so that's the way Brain could land on Scala at the future, keeping his memories (I think Elrena, Lauriam and Skuld turned into nobodies cause they had not a body or a memory in the futuro -unlike Maleficent, Luxu, or MoM, and loose their hearts. But Ven not cause Sora kept it. And about Ephemera... I don't know if the book has something to do with that...

Pretty interesting theory. As far as Scala ad Caelum goes tho, I don't think it was ever void of any living inhabitants due to Xehanort, Eraqus and Master Odin's students all being trained there. Brain awakening there in the present after Sora disappeared in Kingdom Hearts 3 is honestly very possible. However, this version of Scala ad Caelum looks so different. It could be a future version of the world. Or it might just be before Xehanort and the others arrived.

No body hopping occurred. It would contradict the reports. The person with the box and keyblade is Brain. Xigbar doesn’t know the specific location of the box because he asked Brain to hide it for him. The box is hidden in a way that it would only appear after the last page of the Book of Prophecies would play out. That was the moment Sora rewrote time. Brain ends up in Scala an Caelum, but not the one that we know. Out of sheer curiosity, he has opened the Box, and was transported to another time/space. The box contains a portal. If he has the Master’s key and the box, he has the means to open it, and that’s implying the box is even locked. The Master told Luxu he could never open it, but that doesn’t go for anyone else who might find out about the box.
Why would Brain open the box? I'm a bit lost here since Brain was never left with the box. Luxu is the only one with access to the box. The Master already told Luxu what was in the box so he'd have no reason to open it.

If you played Dark Road, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum echo the Walrus and the Carpenter, else a story about curious oysters. Luxu, who is Xigbar, doesn’t know where the box is- how does one explain that? The Master didn’t tell Luxu what’s in the box, as the scene continues he gives him a very vague hint about Daybreak Town coming to an end.

The temptation to find out what’s inside is too great for anyone to resist, especially someone who has existed for ages. If you wish to avoid temptation to say eat something, you need someone else to help hold your accountable.Therefore, the real conspiracy between Luxu and Brain is that he asked Brain to hide it for him. Why though? Because Luxu didn’t read the book and Brain read the whole thing. Brain would know the optimal way to hide it so that Luxu could retrieve it after Darkness prevails over the Guardians of Light. Maleficent even realized that this box isn’t gonna show up until after the war. The box is a portal, and the reason Luxu specifically wasn’t allowed to open it is because it would have an effect like the time machine and displace him from where he needs to be in the timeline.
Why wouldnt Luxu's body taking technique be the same one as Xehanorts. Xehanort took over Terra's body, yet Terra could still control his body abit until Xehanort severed Terra from the body. He could have done this with brain, but allowed him to have control for a while.

So was Luxu already possessing Braig body during Birth By Sleep or did he possessed him after ? And if a Nobody heart returns after his death, is Braig actually back inside is body ? Or did he found a place into is heartless self ? This part is kinda fuzzy

There's a small detail that I've not seen brought up anywhere else, and it's either a plot hole or it disproves the possession theory.
They key could lie in the dub actors. Max Mittelman dubbed Luxu when he still was with the MoM, and also at the end of Back Cover, i.e. while in the Keyblade Graveyard with the box and No Name. If that scene took place after Union X, how could Luxu have retained the same voice (Max's) if he had already changed bodies by then?
I think this tells us 2 things:
1) Either they kept Max's voice to make the character easily recognizable even though he had already possessed someone else (which is a plot hole or at least inconsistent).
2) Or the scene takes place before Union X and Luxu already looked like Brain before the start of Season 2. Which raises the question, who is Brain exactly? A twin, a clone?
This is definitely one of the theories I was thinking of earlier. I feel like it could possibly be this. But here's the thing, I feel like that's a red herring meant to throw us off

(it's Ansem's... somehow, the heartless inherited the new voice, XD ) I don't think is a big problem Luxu keep his voice, even if was already changed body on that scene... although I really don't think they had thought that far when Back Cover was made, and were considering that was the same Luxu with his original body...

On the other hand, here we'd have the fact that Luxu kept the same voice after changing bodies, which would be the other way around in comparison to Terra's case.
If that's the case, then it'd be a plot hole, or a cheap way to conceal the character's true identity. We'll have to see in the next games if this theory is right.

If you remember, during xigbar's death in kh3 he says he is worthy of a keyblade and that the 'old coot' promised to beneath him his, or else why would he put up with all his nonsense. Maybe that was the real xigbar that was refering to luxu. Perhaps he had a deal with him, his body for a keyblade.

We definitely rule out that Luxu never passed on the keyblade to Brain. However, as we were told that Xigbar has passed on to many "semblances" as in "appearances" so this definitely tells us that he had taken over Brain body in order to live out his role until the Gazing eye was passed on to a boy with dark intentions. What probably confuses people is if that is Luxu taking Brains form, than why was Brain in Scala Ad Caelum? Well we have to remember one thing, the last time was saw Scala Ad Caelum was when Sora opened a portal in Xehanorts heart in order to visit to Scala Ad Caelum, perhaps this is the same method that Luxu and Brain were able to use, Luxu transfers Brain heart into SAC, while Luxu takes the vessel of Brain, whattya guys think?

I think Luxu's true identity is a time-traveling Brain. This would also allow him to truly be the virus to MoMs plan. Heres the reason why, Luxu had NO reason to body swap at the end of UX. His body wasnt old, or dying or anything. Why would he take brains body?
That's a pretty good point but remember, the world was going to be destroyed while Brain would have stayed back. So I'm assuming this would save Brain's life solely. Luxu being a future Brain could still be possible though
