It was finally time to cover Animal Jam's official art, and how much I really think how great it all is. From normal animal assets, Jambassador art, and anything in between, the artists for this game really are talented, let's take a look at some examples of their best work!

What's your opinion on Animal Jam's art, or have you just not thought of it like me for years?
the animal jam art is amazing, not only is the lineless artstyle visually striking but it's also really fun to replicate in my experience :] i think even ages from now when animal jam is behind us the art style will always be timeless
+ i see people talk about the oldest and newest artstyles for aj but i have a very, very soft spot for taylor maw's "comic book" styled loading screens with the alphas. maybe bc i joined in 2013 but they were so cool!! i miss them a lot!!
I would personally love to learn how to draw in the Animal Jam official art style at some point (I already have a few ideas of how they do it, but I have yet to test my theories). Even the older more "beta" art styles are so visually captivating, and recognizable at that! Even if you didn't grow up playing animal jam, it's still very recognizable. I do enjoy ajc art more, probably due to heavy levels of bias as I've been playing since the beta, but the ajpw style has slowly begun to grow on me over time too.
@@Madjastin Learn vectors!!!! That's what they use for the modern style. Taylor Maw usually does raster work, but most of the "newer" art uses vectors.
I agree, the art is so recognizable!! when i was younger, i wasn’t allowed to play Animal Jam since it was an online game, then I forgot about it for a few years. Recently (around 1-2 years ago), I saw one of the official pieces again, and I instantly remembered Animal Jam. The art is definitely the reason why I’m an Animal Jam player now!
I have personally disliked the most recent animals in ajpw. I love the older style it feels more like animal jam to me and I wish they would've kept it that way, I like this video!
one of my favourite obscure things in animal jam is actually sketch jam in the art studio! taylor (pretty sure that was his name haha) has such a calming voice and such a fun demeanour! i definitely recommend checking out some of the videos, they’re very entertaining
Animal jam was a huge inspiration for me Art Style wise, i loved the way the animals look and it matches well with my artistic style preferences i already had. when i was younger i use to take pictures of all the animal art when u go to buy an animal and would trace them because making the shapes was so fun and it taught me a lot when i was first starting out as a digital artist. its sometimes so simple and yet so unique and that really drew me to it.
Honestly, I think AJ's artstyle is the main thing that drew me in. It genuinely makes me happy to look at and I wish any of the official AJ artists, past or present, the best and many thanks!
One of my favourite moments in all the time I’ve played animal jam has got to be when I randomly won an outfit of the week event on the daily explorer back in like 2016/2017, and received official artwork of one of my animals. Afaik they don’t do these anymore, which is a shame because it was really cool.
I am so happy someone is talking about the art of Animal Jam!!! I have always loved the uniqueness of the style sososooo much and it's just so crucial and iconic to their brand! ^.^ I still really wish Animal Jam would release an artbook or something, given they're now showing their Play Wild concept art on Instagram. It'd also be super neat if they did separate artbooks; one for Classic, and one for Play Wild. :^) Especially because there is a bit of divide in interest in Play Wild and Classic.
Your jambassador art looks SO COOL!!! It's got to be my favorite one so far. It helps that your avatar has an amazing design in the first place.

The art community is also amazing, but I wouldn't do it justice covering that in only a 10 minute video
can i be that one person whos around and bugs you when your on? bc i havent been able to do that to a youtuber before and your pretty cool and its every jammers dream to get to meet a youtuber in game and maybe fangirl a little lol
