A person who truly believed they were an angel, but went against everything the bible stood for? Like, they could be obsessed with being recognized for the holy spirit or whatever they 'truly were'? Idk, that's just the first thing that came to mind. waaa you're so sweet! honestly the way i make my self inserts is i start with the most mary sue overpowered ideal version of myself with the coolest ideas and character design that's unreasonable and unrealistic, and then gradually add or take away things that i feel like make the character more or less enjoyable for me personally. for example, my gravity falls oc started off as a demon like bill, before deciding to make them a human that still was a bit overpowered to make them more enjoyable for me to write and draw rather than more digestible for the internet. if that makes sense!
