I am trying to get into Play Wild, but its so expensive to catch up, to pay for saps, to buy wish tokens. Its just hard. I am a classic player and just feel so behind LOL

and the fact that so many people will hoard these out and then quit playing forever deletes them out of the game

coming back to Animal Jam after about 6 years and seeing how the economy is now makes me not want to even try for some items, I was never really into rares, but I would trade for the item or two if i liked them, but now trading just seems even more hostile and confusing. The most I would collect was the aniverary cakes, but for some reason my 6th ani ones went missing

There's also the problem of black longs being used as a currency themselves, because they're not as easily obtainable as people think and if it's going to be used as a currency, it has to be more easily accessible when it's not.

You could have ended the video a lot sooner there were lots of spikes being sold at the shops you were looking at for like 55.

I remember the time when I was playing AJ years ago and they rolled the update that den betas would now be sold in shops. DEN BETAS. These items were incredibly special because only a limited number of them existed and because they were worth slightly less than spikes and wristbands you could trade for them a bit more easily than just with rares. Introducing them in shops just plummeted their worth like no tomorrow, decreasing the number of 'high value' items to trade with. I immediately knew if AJ continued on like this, it would fuck up the economy, and I have no idea why AJ made that decision.

Thank goodness I trades up to some of those McDonald plushies before the economy crashed. I don’t think I’ll be able to continue to do my plushie locked account grind like usual for more of those exclusive plushies. :P

catching up on my animal jam lore

I just play the game as a comfort game and to collect my favorite animals and make characters and outfits. Its also the only animal game/ game like it.☺

My first rare was a fox hat and i traded a rare cape for it. Now it seems almost impossible for new players to get cool rares without trading a million spikes for one thing

I stopped playing a while ago Wana get back into it by may favorite rare is the rare scary cat hat! It was my first ever rim and my favorite but I do get it as I used to be a collector 😂

It’s been a year since this video has been out, and I don’t know if you will see this, it’s like a shot in the dark, but im kind of out of options, so, why not ? I used to play AJPW back in between 2015-2019. For some odd reason I never registered my account. I was a guest jammer with a decent amount of animals, pets, costumes, houses and items. Around 2019 I had some issues with the app, got kind of locked out and wasn’t able to get it again. I shared that I had probably lost my old account on Reddit and someone suggested that I contact you. They said; “id suggest contacting the youtuber/jambassador named bradstormer to ask abt the process of recovery, if i remember right smt rly similar happened with his guest jammer account and ajha was able to restore it”. I’ve contact support but haven’t managed to get far. I have my old device which i will try to long onto my old account. But seeing as you have somehow managed to get yours back, is there any way you could help me or, tell me something that could help me with possible recovery of my account ? I heard about the data breach and such so I have lost most hope.

Mmm I remember when a clothing beta was 1/4 of a den beta :// Also will never not be confused by the fact gloves are not cbs. Cbs are technically variants from early on who used to be in stores in the beta and got given a rare tag once removed… and got nonrare variants. So I feel like a lot of things should be clothing betas. Like underwater clown masks, gloves, rare demon hats, rare Viking helms. But of course, clown mask isn’t accepted at all because it’s underwater, it doesn’t even look bad, it’s a fun scary item They’re just as accessible as normal cbs so why are they worth less? It’s just stupid tbh!!

i 100% agree it’s definitely better for non members now than it was back in 2015. i think a big difference in that is animal jam society lol-kids made this whole stigma against non members for being “poor”, and just treating people unfairly based on status. i think now that classic has mostly an teen+ fanbase now, there isn’t that non member discrimination anymore. i find it interesting that back in the day you had to have membership to color items, but now the jamaaliday advent items can only be colored as the member version!
