If this video does not make a car guy smile, I don't know what will. The cars and bikes must be smiling as they take off, doing what they were designed for. Running fast no matter what the weather. Very well done. Sit back and enjoy this on a big screen folks.
What a marvelous event. I've never seen anything quite like it before. I like that it was held in spite of the rain. Everybody seems to be having a great time. Thank you for sharing this!
Great video, great sounds (in other words a typical excellent quality 19Bozzy92 video) The diversity of these cars and bikes was outstanding. It appeared that many of the drivers getting the wettest in the open cars had the biggest grins on their faces at just being able to show people their cool old cars and to go fast... Thanks, great video.
@@19Bozzy92 Thanks for continuing to make great videos. I appreciate when you are filming a great sounding car on a race track and the car flashes by your vantage point and all we see is trees but you keep filming so we can hear the car going WFO on the back straight holding the gas pedal on the floor. That kind of attention to detail separates you from all the others...
Blooming marvellous! Maybe I’m a sad old BMW Fanboy but the ‘Batmobile’ looked exquisite and sounded superb too. Every car on display was worthy of this video. Maybe the later runs would have been better served by Vintage World Water Record Boats?
I was at the 1976 24 Hours Of Daytona, the whole 24 hours, when Peter Greg and Brian Redman driving the #59 BMW E9 CSL won overall. It was nutz. Batmobile indeed.
Those men riding their bikes and open wheel open cockpit pre WW2 machines are the real deal, especially under those weather conditions. But all cars were rather special. Reminds me of Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold park in the UK.
@Alex Elliott In the 1960s the Honda 250/6, 125/5, and 50cc twin were loud enough to cause hearing damage. Michelle Duff once told me how she still had ringing in her ears from when in the 1960s, as Mike Duff, she was a factory rider for Yamaha and was chasing Jim Redman on the Honda six cylinder 250 and Luigi Taveri on the five cylinder 125.
Alleine schon der unscheinbare Berlin-Rom-Wagen ist Millionen wert, vom Blitzen Benz ganz zu schweigen; dann noch mehrere American-LaFrance: Unglaublich toll!
Great! I found it interesting there's a world-wide movement of cutting down early fire trucks. I've seen quite a bit of this is the U.S., but I didn't know it was so far reaching.
Où c’est passé ce spot des kilomètres lancés,…en Allemagne je suppose ! Salut et merci beaucoup pour ces belles images de véhicules bien rares de nos jours.
really enjoyed the viewing, but wouldn't have been insulted if the cars were identified, or even provided with a brief history, to give some context into what I was seeing.
That streamliner reminds me of the Mercedes T80 Land Speed car. Built to cut through the air like a silver arrow. Though I wonder what engine the C16 has
Yeah the style is pretty similar to the T80, although the actual inspiration of that C-16 comes from the 1938 Mercedes-Benz W154 Record Car. From their website the engine was created by combining two Buick 4.1L straight-8s. You can find more info here: www.streamlinerc16.com/
One of the best petrolhead-related video I've seen in a while. So much diversity! Loved to see all those amazing machines
Glad you liked it!
petrol
so truer
Possibly the most bizarre paddock I've ever seen lol.
those are some diehard, they came to race, rain or no rain. cool video
That Pratt speedster looks amazing. Two straight 8 engines? That's bizarre
Sounds like a pro modified drag car. I like it.
So,basically an inline-16
Probably can do 100 mph 😃 mmmm maybe not

Never would I have thought that somebody would build an inline-sixteen engine!! Extraordinary.
Made in Sweden, finished few months ago.

Ohh! I didn't know Glenn had finished his amazing (and oh so bizarre) creation. Many thanks!
Amazing! No enough worrds to dercribe such piece of technology and design!!!
The rain made the event more unique
Really great. Even with the terrible weather. Such amazing classics.
Wonderful! Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.
Wonderful eclectic mix!

Wow, what an epic gaggle of great ICE cars and bikes.
A beauty of cars, the whole story until today, in this video! The rain hurts. Una maravilla , emocion .💟
Stunning cars. Slightly baffled by the ultra aerodynamic bubble top jag with the GB badge air brake though.....
great audio and video! Rain doesn't stop the love of cars!
This was just glorious! Start to finish! Thank you!
Intriguing gathering of motors! Great video, Ieft me wanting more
Bella manifestazione, interessante e divertente, auto e moto fantastiche! Tra le auto dal cinquino abarth alla blitzen benz!

Beautiful video of my version of heaven..😍 💯🔥 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻
Loved it but loved to have seen more of the Blitzen benzs and some prewar Autounions and merc gp cars. They were the top of the league.
Man the facial hairs at these kinds of meets are almost as unique as the cars!
Wow Amazing Collection at this |Gathering Very cool 🧑🏻🦱👍🏻🏎️🏁 The Aluminum Pratts is a work of Art
WOW! A DKW at 18:00! What a beast! They could hear that in Liverpool as it was racing round the Isle of Man! Fun fact for whoever sees this
Hear it roughly 80 miles away?😂 come on now!
That particular legend applies to the pre-war supercharged 350 two-stroke. That's not the bike in the video, though.

What a machine that silver car is.. it’s like an inter-war fighter aircraft, without wings!
man, I love your videos
Thanks a lot!
Brilliant 🤩 video sir! Thanks for posting - I’ve never seen such a fantastic mixture of cars and bikes before!!
no electric car will ever replicate the joy these cars bring....

17:10 Honda NR750, in the wet 😮 Fair play to the owner 👏🏼

what a great mix! so what was that big sliver aero bodied thing,? It seemed to have 2 I8s.
love those 20'-30's cars that are just the front of a warplane strapped to some tires
P72 has the Ferrari engine again 😍
Yes!

This car looks like a space ship and something futuristic
that is amazing😍😍
Super.Хороший канал.Лайк.
The Jag 6cyl is as distinctive sounding as a Merlin engine, what a thing.
Today’s cars don’t have half the charm than the old ones had
Amazing video. Such a blend of unique cars. All of them with great sound.
I would love to know what the car at 9:05 is, if someone could help me out
De Tomaso Pantera. Italian design + american V8, if I'm correct.
It’s a de tomaso p72 not a Pantera .

brilliant but we could have done without the modern cars , loved the single cyl drag bike and the benelli four , what a shame it rained

11:00 Hot Knife from San Andreas
Sgame that so few of the machines were properly tuned!
The rain/atmospheric pressure etc would have played havoc on some of the monsters, but many of them sounded fine to me.
What is the green 4 cylinder 60s car? It's not a Bizzarrini, and it doesn't look like an Alfa Tipo 33 or TZ1/2 either.
Possibly an Abarth?
@@ChristianrnstrupRasmussen, a Simca Abarth was my other thought, but I'm not sure that's it either...
Correction. Apparently, it's a Nomad Mk1.
Porsche 959 😍

Why are they all starting off in second gear?
Flogging an oval piston Honda NR 750 in the pouring rain, balls and credit.
American LaFrance? I've only seen the fire trucks!
