Very helpful Video Jake. Not too rushed and has a lot of detail. One of the best and most useful tutorials that I've watched. Keep up the great work. Really helpful!
your welcome. yes you can either multi channel through it with a hardware recorder using the direct outputs in the back or the USB port for your computer. just make sure the settings in your Daw support multi track and that the settings are correct. you can also just record one channel at a time too.
The comments on the equalizer on the first 8 channels are slightly off 1st knob is high frequency EQ, allows you to raise/lower volume in the 12khz range 2nd and 3rd knob together are a parametric equalizer. The 3rd knob controls the frequency that will be affected, the 2nd knob "mid" lets you raise or lower the volume of the selected frequency. The frequency can vary from 100hz to 8k hz The 4th knob is low frequency EQ, allows you to raise/lower volume in the 80hz range
If you're wanting like effects on it. There's an echo effect built into the mixer. It would be the Aux 3 knob and the orange knobs in the main section of the mixer for the built in effects. There is also a built in delay effect. There's a knob by the little screen to change the effect. Let me know if you need anymore help.
i have a problem with practically the same mixer, only instead of being an x2442, it is a qx2442. The problem is that the Vu Meter gives no sign of any audio signal from the main mix and no, I don't have to activate every "just" button to see from the vu meter. thanks
You guys can Download a gratis Software Calld tracks wenn you get a behringer Mixer so you can do Multitrack Recording wenn you dont have ableton or any Other Recording device 😇
Hi! My xenyx 2442 usb makes strange noises when i use ,,master fx” it makes noises, cracks randomly . Is tehere possibility that I am making something wrong, or just fx is broken?
The cable that's plugged into the master FX output may be bad. Check that. The wall plug shouldn't affect just one output or input. If it were the wall plug I think it would affect the entire mixer.
did you need a driver for this mixer if so can you send me a Link. that nob you were asking about is a fequency sweep knob you sweep the frequency range to either find the sweet spot or the bad frequency
I know that's what it looks like, but no, there was no sand storm. I think my camera lens was just dirty and it was a cloudy day so the natural lighting wasn't that great. I cleaned my camera lens though.
You should read the manual a little more before doing a video. The SOLO button interacts with a MODE button on the other side of the board. If the red COMP light goes on, it means that the compressor is engaged. Not neccessarily a bad thing. I notice several things you said that were completely wrong. Sorry man

The frequency knob selects which mid frequency u want to cut/boost

It could be the plug you're using is bad or it could be the wiring for that master FX knob in the mixer is loose.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks you mean wall plug? Cable? Or something like that?

Is it possible to use together the main fader and the subgroup fader?
You should be able to.

No driver needed for it. Thank you.
When I tried to record the computer doesn’t recognize it when I click the input all I get is buses
Does the usb work correctly?
Yes it does. I'm going to demo the sound quality of it in the next video. As far as I've used it though it does work correctly.
Did you record this vid just after a sand storm?
I know that's what it looks like, but no, there was no sand storm. I think my camera lens was just dirty and it was a cloudy day so the natural lighting wasn't that great. I cleaned my camera lens though.
I thought this was filmed in 2001 haha, I do like this raw video vibe I have to say
