    The 2017 Z900 and 2003 FJR1000 are fuel injected and the 2009 KLRs are both carbureted.

    Those KLR's did a good job starting in that cold weather, mine always seems to have a hard time.

    Thanks for sharing ! I have an 08 KLR .. can be finicky as well for cold starts. Do you do any throttle blips b4 it fires up ? Think I saw you crack the throttle a couple times on your 1st KLR startup. I’ve tried that but flooded mine once or twice.

      I do sometimes, I recently deleted the vacuum system on the petcock "fuel shut off value". Seems to help a bit.
