Appreciate how you are able to blend the nuances of fate/free will, karmic atonement, the realization of the greater good and other qualities that usually come across as abstract ideas. You are not afraid to delve into the rabbit hole and work your way out so others can see your thought process. Brilliant! Thank you. My college age daughter and I just had a long convo about the topic of fate and free-will and privilege and unprivileged status in society affecting whether people push the choices narrative and how that often seems to crush empathy generation after generation.

this. is so important. as an astrologer who often delivers written charts remotely- i struggle with trying to gauge what people are ready to hear, as i've scared people off and wandered too close to buried trauma in the past. are there any disclaimers you suggest using with clients? with modern psychological astrology the norm - the trajectory of fate is often not what people are unconsciously expecting. its a complex and delicate part of being a neo-traditional astrologer - as you said. thank you, as always.
Oh interesting.. I've always thought of fate as an opportunity. An adventure. Something scary, something that can be challenging, but some kind of fantastical achievement. Yeah, I like that. Fantastical achievement. ❤
In ancient times, people had a priest for the spiritual part of life, marriages were concluded through families and there was at least respect for the spouse, if not everything started out of love and the like. Today, people are mostly lost and looking for everything in a partner. It must cover the priest, parents, friends, materially ... It is too difficult.

When it comes to advice-giving, there are legal ramifications if you're not licensed -- not "certified," unless there's a particular type of legal permission in your location about certification, it's a fairly useless term -- or otherwise legally permitted in your locality to practice in the area of advice you're giving. This is why experienced practitioners post disclaimers on their website and often carry liability insurance: because practitioners can be accused of practicing psychological counseling, medicine, financial planning, etc., without the proper credentials. Which can land you in very big trouble. Some practitioners will post the "for entertainment purposes only" on their website, even if they don't mean it, to protect themselves from such accusations. This is also to avoid accusations that you're "fortune telling," which may be heavily regulated or even banned in your area. I always make sure a client agrees to my terms and conditions, which include disclaimers about their own responsibility for their decisions, and to be clear that my consultations do not predict the future. Clients say they want you to tell them what to do, and to tell you what's going to happen. But in most cases, even if I could, I wouldn't. I can help them assess the current situation and also help them by asking them good questions. That's really as far as astrologers who aren't trained therapists, etc., should go. (A good therapist won't tell you what to do, either, just saying.)
