She had a son, but later died from complications of childbirth
And her son didn't even get to live that long 😔
Golden Bacon died at age 15 from tuberculosis
Sad fact they had to cut her stomach because of the baby's persition.
@@cludy_dreams8831 the baby died at like days old. That wasnt her son it was someone else he slept with on the streets before her, with the first two wives i think
Jane had it harder because she didn’t see her son grown up so Jane won
Jane Seymour was the wife that Henry “loved” the most because she gave him the least trouble and she died during childbirth. Her son didn’t live long though. He died at 15.
Yea she was his fav. Cause she gave him a son
He actually didn’t love *her* he just loved the fact she had a son.
And whenever she tried to speak up or try to say anything about politics she would be told to shut up.
I actually think it is great that evryone in the comments have so much facts about the six wife's! I think it is also great people are sharing their opinions and are having a "debate" in the comments.
he only loves her the most only because she died before she pissed him off
Thats not the only reason, she didnt live long enough to piss henry off, and cuz she gave him a son
Anne of Cleves actually has two songs so... Just be prepared. Next is Haus of Holbein then Get Down. Warning, she is really awesome!
I've always thought of Haus of Holbein as an interlude rather than one of Anna of Cleves' songs.
I thought haus of Holbein is with all the queens ??
@@madisonbeecham4617 Yeah, it is.
I consider Haus of Holbein as more of a half-time show
I consider haus of Holbein like kinda a introduction to Anne of Cleves?
Just to clarify Jane is not the youngest The youngest is Howard oh and jane died after she gave birth to her son
A few days after the birth*
Henry actually had very little respect for Howard and she was only nineteen when she got beheaded.... Fact: She could have avoided being beheaded if she had said those claims were lies but she told them that Thomas raped her (which he did so fuck him) but part of me thinks she may have wanted to be beheaded because she had been molested at thirteen which was the beginning of a long time of being used for her body and pain and suffering that she may have wanted to end... I feel so bad for her
howard was, by the way, she was only 19 when was beheaded
@@helloeveryone5747 people didn't really believe in rape back than, women were kind of considered property. She did plead innocent to her crimes, but the king overrode it and killed her its really sad
She most definitely didn't want to die, as she reportedly begged king henry to let her live :((

Actually Katherine Howard was the youngest. Jane Seymour was 27 when she married Henry. Katherine Howard was only 17 when she was married two him, and she was beheaded when she was 19. Which means most of the stuff that happens to Katherine Howard happened in her song happened when she was 13-17 years old. Which is why I personally find her story the saddest, (though all are sad). though I won’t spoil what happened for anyone who hasn’t seen or heard her song.
Jane did have a son, the future Edward VI who ruled for only 5 years. Jane died from child bed fever, well she died 12 days after the birth of her son

Jane did successfully have a son, but she died of complications during childbirth very soon afterwards.
Also, Katherine Howard is the youngest. She was under 21 when she was executed. No one knows the exact age though.
I read that historians think it was in the 18-19 age range. But during that time period, the life expectancy was about 30 years old, so it didn't seem AS young as it does today.
she didn't die in childbirth, she died a few days after the birth due to complications during the birth, so she died of an illness (natural causes)

The youngest queen was Katherine Howard (she is the only Katherine that started with K)
But there are some articles that say she also goes by *C* atherine
For the purpose of differentiating some names were changed like katherine howard from catherine and anna of cleves from anne

Edit - Jane died about two weeks after her and Henry's son Edward was born. The historians aren't a hundred percent, but they're pretty sure she either didn't pass her placenta which caused an infection, or that given how long labor was, she developed a clot and had a stroke. Catherine was a maSSIVE-

the next song is Haus of Holbein
Jane was the third wife of Henry the VIII (As most of us know). And she was one of my ladies in waiting, before she got married to Henry. Jane was betrothed just one day after my execution on May 20, 1536. Jane wasn’t as educated as me and Catherine, but she could read, write just a little. Something she was good at was house management and needlework. Her needlework was gorgeous and elaborate, and some survived after her death. But only into the 1650’s.
Jane was known to be a gentle soul, she was meek, and simple. She wasn’t a beauty as some described, but people say she was the fairest of Henry’s wives.
As the rhyme goes it’s divorced, beheaded, died. And Jane did have a son named Edward VI on October 12, 1537. Her labour wasn’t easy since it lasted 3 nights and 2 days. Some historians say her birth was probably complicated because Edward was not in the proper positioning for birth. After the christening of Edward, Jane fell seriously sick.
There’s many things people talk about that might’ve caused her death, but it’s just claimed to be childbirth as her cause of death. And she died just 12 days later from the complications on October 24, 1536 in Hampton Court Palace.
Jane was buried November 12, 1536 in St. George’s chapel at Windsor Castle.
Henry mourned Jane, he just saw the woman that gave him a son leave the earth. He granted her wishes, shelter, safety, and she left just like that.
So yeah, that’s what happened to Jane. She did give Henry a son, and she died from childbirth complications.
"I'll never see him grow"
Okay.
I cried.
I don't usually cry over any song that isn't from Hamilton, but damn.
She'll never see her own son grow. That's legit heart-breaking.
Breaking news!
It has just been confirmed that Jane Seymour -The third wife of Henry the VIII- is the avatar of the 1500's.
Anne of Cleves is the fourth wife. Her song is Haus of Holbein. (Aka the next song) She's the one Dickhead called ugly. (basically)
To answer your question: Jane did have a son, aka the future king. She did however, died a few days after she gave birth to Edward.
Not to be rude but, her song is actually Get down.
She died 8 days after having a son.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH
Brendan Leane I-
I thought she died 11 days after having a son-
I thought it was 12
12**
So what happened with Jane is this:
It's speculation whether Henry truly loved her or only loved her because she provided a son and heir (though most people believe he did love her)
She had a son, Edward 6th, it's either days later or a week later she succumbed to complications due to childbirth, Edward became King at 9 but because he was too young his council ruled for him and then he died at 15 because he was a sickly child throughout childhood and had a weak immune system
It’s funny that the animatic has a lot of dancing cause there’s a joke in the show that’s something along the lines of “there’s a problem” “you’re right. When the six of us are all together everyone can see that Jane can’t dance”
next song is Haus of Holbein. I recommend the animatic by definicious
Katherine Howard was actually the youngest. She was 17-19 when she was beheaded.

My favorite animatic of this song is from Definicious , I love the artwork and the metaphors in some of it
With different animatics, you get different feelings. This one has a more triumphant feeling, but there are some that _will_ drive you to tears. Because Jane was a mom who died just days after her son was born. She was loyal and kind, her love worn on her sleeve and engraved in her heart, but she was never appreciated by history for how much she had to deal with.

All You Wanna Do (Catherine Howard's song)

Six (Final song)
Megasix (Not a official song, but still worth a watch)
PS. Jane also has a introduction, but from what I can tell no one has animated it. (Fun fact, it actually mentions Tudors.) As well, Jane died of childbirth
I think her dancing alone just shows the fact that he was out doing his own thing while leaving his wife alone, knowing she wasn't loved the way she wanted because Henry cheated on all of his wives before their end. But yes she had a son and I think she died giving birth to him. I think
Jane gave birth to the future king Edward the 6th. She ended up being bedbound for days after she had him. Sadly she passed away from complications after childbirth. When Henry died Edward took the throne but he only had it for 6 years as he died at 15 from tuberculosis. Also Katherine Howard was the youngest as she was beheaded at 18-19. She was still a minor (well in our day in age) when she married Henry.
Jane Seymour was Henry’s “favorite wife” because she was pious and didn’t try and involve herself in politics, she also gave him a son but later died because of the childbirth. She’s often the most overlooked of Henry’s wives because she was mostly non-controversial and died very quickly. She was also different from Anne Boleyn as in...they were almost complete opposites.
Actually, she did try to have her say in Henry's politics, but he immediately told her to shut up, otherwise she'd end like Anne Boleyn.
If you're reacting to all songs, may I suggest 'Haus of Holbein' animated by definicious? Her animatic, while simple, is also fun to watch.
Jane actually did give birth to her son but she didn’t make it. She died I believe right after his birth.
Actually, she died many days later. Most historians aren’t sure exactly when, but it wasn’t right after the birth.
Yes, she did have a son. But she had an EXTREMELY painful time in labor, she was giving birth for two whole days! About four days after her son was finally born, the extreme damage to her body from labor killed her. It’s sad cause her son didn’t live very long at all, he became king at the age of nine and died of tuberculosis. I believe he died at 15...
Jane Seymour Died from Child bed fever. Basically means that she died after she gave birth to her son. It's a tragic story and Henry even made a proper funeral for her (unlike the two wives before her).
One of the Animatics I've seen ended with Jane's skin cracking and a more detailed version of her with her arms crossed as a stone statue above a grave as it's grave marker.
Are you talking about Definicious?
Jane Seymour was the mother of the kings only son (Edward the 6th) caught a disease a few days after childbirth, and died 12 days after, on October 24, 1537.
Its confirmed
Jane was the avatar
Jane wasn't the youngest. That was Kathrine Howard who was 16-17 years old when she married Henry (and he was 49) and was executed at around 19. Jane Seymour was known as "the one he truly loved" because she was the only one to give him a son but sadly she died in child birth.
Jane Seymore was the third wife. She was the mother of Henry's only surviving son, Edward and died shortly after childbirth. Both the fact that she was the only one to birth a son and that she died so soon in the marriage (not even three years iirc) - before she could annoy Henry with being, y'know human - ensured that Henry glorified her as the best of his wives.
This song was so amazing!! I loved it!😍 So beautiful! One of my favorite songs now👌🏽
Jane wasn't the youngest, the youngest was Katherine Howard, who was beheaded at age 19.
And yes, Jane had a son, the later King Edward, who was a sickly young man and died after only 5 years on the throne. She died 12 days after childbirth from labor complications and childbedfever. 😢

Jane Seymour had a son, Edward, but died a few days later due to complications since medicine wasn't very advanced in Tudor times
She died in childbirth 13 days after her son was born, due to an infection forming because she was in labor for three days.
Also for some context, Jane loved Henry, but he only loved her because she gave birth to a son. Jane died from childbirth, which is why she says "I'll never see him grow". Henry even chose the life of his newborn son over her, so he kinda let her die in a way. What I said is just a really simplified version of what happened so keep that in mind
Also! SAD FACT: HER SON ONLY LIVED TO BE LIKE 15 OR SOMETHING SO SHE REALLY DIDN'T GET TO SEE HIM GROW
No the youngest is Katherine Howard as she married him around when she was 16 or 15 when he was 50 and died when she was 18 or 19
She did have a song, Edward if I'm not mistaken. But she died when he was born.
Once you're done with the Six songs I recoment checking out the "Six the kids" fan project featuring Henrys children by Arty E!
No Actually Katherine Howard was the young one. But uh in a way they were all quite young...
She died during child birth when she had her son :(
(The reason why she says she the favorite wife and the only one King Henry truly loved.)
Her son Edward died at 15 though.
Jane Seymour the 3 wife of Henry VIII got pregnant with a son, Edward but at the time medicine was not as good as today so 1 out of 4 women died during labor. She died a couple of days after Edward was born for an infection or something that happened during the labor, something common at the time. Edward died when he was 15 because of tuberculosis. Fun fact: Jane was the only wife he had, that has a proper funeral (Katherine Howard's grave doesn't even has her name)
I love your videos, whenever I watch them it makes me so happy
You Spoke of the young one, Jane Seymour was 27 when she married Henry. I assume your were thinking of Katherine Howard (whose song you’ve not heard), she married Henry at around 17 and was thought to be he headed around the age of 19. As far as I know Jane Seymour died shortly after giving birth to her son.
Kathrine Howard was the youngest at ~17 when she married a 40 something year old Henry. I think she was beheaded at age 19.
I'm usually not a crier but honestly I just randomly burst into tears
Jane Seymour was the third wife. Her color is white, and her pop inspirations are Adele and Sia. She had a son, Prince Edward, and died a week afterwards from childbirth. Edward also died very young when he was king, at age 15, which makes her story even more tragic. Oh, and right after this song, Jane asks "What hurts more than a broken heart?" And Anne Boleyn says "A severed head." The next song is Haus of Holbein, which is a bit of a goofy one! Be prepared to laugh a lot!
The young one is Katherine Howard (the 5th Queen, beheaded, song- all you wanna do) she was 19 when she died

Jane did have a son, but she died of childbirth, 12 days after giving birth. Also her limbs were stretched, and it took 2 days for the bevy to arrive. Plus Katherine Howard was the youngest, she died at the age 19.
Jane had Edward who became King aged 9 and he died when he was 15. He also tried to supplant his two half-sisters by naming someone else (Lady Jane Grey) as queen after him even though it should have been Mary.
So basically at 29 yrs Jane gave birth to her son Edward VI but then she died of childbirth a few weeks later. But 15 years later, Edward died of tuberculosis at the age of 15.
Jane Seymour did have a son but died shortly after giving birth.
She died of complications of an emergency C-section, which she did have a son, who never lived long. She assumed he lived long, but he never did.
Ok so:
Catherine of Aragon- first wife, was divorced so Henry could get with Anne Boleyn, I think she had the longest marriage with him (maybe)
Anne Boleyn- second wife, was beheaded so Henry could get with Jane, also she apparently insulted his manliness so hell yes
Jane Seymour- third wife, only one he “truly loved” who died giving birth to her son, Henry’s heir
Anna of Cleves- fourth wife who was divorced cause Henry thought she was ugly but she did end up with tons of riches so and a pretty set life.
Katherine Howard- fifth and youngest wife, was beheaded because of multiple accusations about affairs that may or may not have happened/been her choice to partake in since she was basically a young teen.
Catherine Parr- final wife who survived and was also kinda his nurse as Henry was dying, she also tutored Elizabeth the First so this woman was pretty great
(These are just the bare basic descriptions, there is a lot more stuff we do and don’t know about them but I figured this would kinda help!)
I was gonna recommendation bogen for I don’t need your love when the time came! But it probably won’t happen since she’s already been showcased.
Her name is Jane Seymour she was Henry’s third wive after Anne B. Beheading she gave birth to a son and 11 days after giving birth the she died from birth complications and her son died when he was 9 years old.

Jane died of complications due to childbirth a few days after her son, Edward's, birth,, who went on to become king VI at age 9, but died at 15.
The REALLY young one was Howard, who was only 19 at the time of her death, you'll meet her later (she's my favourite!)
None of these girls had the life they deserved, its really sad.
Next up is haus of holbein, I'm excited for your reaction!
Next is Haus of Holbein, which isn’t a song for one of the princesses, it’s a song talking about the painter Haus Holbein, which is how Henry found the next wife. You should watch Definicious’ animatic!
The next one is Haus Of Holbein, I very much recommend definicious's animatic for it
Jane did have a son his name was Edward she died of childbed fever after giving birth to Henry’s only legitimate son.
Next is Haus of Holbein, the after is Anna of Cleaves Intro, then Get Down.
Jane Seymour (wife #3) died after a complicated pregnancy. The baby survived to become Edward VI, only for him to die young. Wives #1 and #2 were Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn, who each had one daughter each (Mary and Elizabeth). Wives #4, #5, and #6 had no children by Henry VIII.
After Henry's death (he was buried with Jane), a series of things happened.
Edward IV became king at the age of 9 and he further pushed for Protestantism in England. His ambitious regent (and uncle), Edward Seymour, basically tried to take over. His other uncle, Thomas Seymour, secretly married Catherine Parr (Henry's 6th wife) and moved in with her and her charges (Lady Jane Grey (then 11) and Elizabeth (then 13)). Catherine Parr (who was pregnant) soon found Thomas 'embracing' Elizabeth, and promptly sent her away - only for him to resume his 'attentions' toward Elizabeth immediately after Catherine died in childbirth. After falling fatally ill at 15, in an attempt to maintain England's Protestantism, Edward IV declared Lady Jane Grey as his heir. This was not popular, and Mary usurped her mere days after Jane became queen.
Mary I did everything in her power to reverse all her father and brother had done (earning the name 'Bloody Mary', as well as a cryptic nursery rhyme, in the process). She married King Phillip II of Spain (a catholic), who she reportedly loved (despite his obvious disinterest and constant affairs). She desperately wanted children, but struggled to get pregnant. She died, aged 42, likely from uterine cancer.
Elizabeth I became queen in 1558 at the age of 25. She saw England into a golden age, the height of the Renaissance. She also did a bunch of other stuff - like having Mary, Queen of Scots, beheaded for treason. She died, childless and having never married, at the age of 69 - ending the Tutor dynasty (being succeeded by James I/IV, the son of Mary, Queen of Scots). She is considered one of England's greatest monarchs.
K. Howard (5th wive) was zhe youngest she died super young too. Jane died shortly after giving birth to her son as far as I know
Jane Seymour's color is silver/white that is why this is the color of the animation
Okay but the power in her voice just gave me goosebumps 😭😍
