  • As a part-time reseller, my favorite way to source items is to purchase bulk boxes such as this 200lb box from ThredUp. Thredup ships the 200lb boxes as 4 50lb boxes. In this video, I unbox my second 50lb box from Thredup and share which items I will be reselling on platforms like eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari.

Thanks for sharing! I find that when I buy these boxes when there is not a sale they are so much better. Can I add…please don’t send back the trash stuff that they don’t list because it just ends up in another box 😊

@@theniftythrift4177 thanks so much for watching and commenting! Interesting about the full price boxes observation-I’ll have to check it out. Personally, I think the 25 item boxes are the biggest bang for your buck. I always get really excellent items in those, and the cost of goods comes out to be about $2.80/item so still not bad.

The "wonder" piece is C Wonder. It was a company started by Tory Burch's ex-husband and soon became a QVC brand. It's no longer in production I believe. Lucky Brand uses style codes which should help with the jeans if you decide to list. Lastly, Tadashi Shoji is a great formal wear brand, very popular for weddings. Hope this helps☺

Thanks so much for all of that info! I appreciate it! The Lucky Brand jeans were accepted back by Thredup. Waiting to see if they accept the Tadashi items again.

Hi, The Tadashi Shoji dress is a very good brand. Sorry the rest of this box was so bad!

Thanks so much! I believe I ended up sending it back so we’ll see if TU accepts it and what they price it for!

Please stop sending the “junk” back to thredup.., it just ends up in another rescue box 🤦🏼‍♀️

The duds don't mean that they're not going to sell. If they have gigantic holes in them, I'll normally just throw them in the trash. Otherwise, sending everything back to Thredup is the easiest way for me to recycle the items and I'll normally make some money back on the rescue box. If they really are junk and TU deems they can't be resold, TU recycles them as part of their textile recycle program. To me, I feel better about that personally than them being bulk shipped to other continents as actual junk. Per TU " Items that are still in good shape, but don’t meet ThredUp’s quality standards are evaluated for inclusion in ThredUp’s Rescues program. Items that don’t qualify for listing or Rescue Boxes are reused or responsibly recycled by ThredUp’s vetted network of textile recycling and reuse partners" ruclips.net/video/LQW3DkAOFjE/видео.html
