the best experience i have explore in my own country is when i see a wild orangutan in bukit lawang, north Sumatra. not many tourist go there and that's a good thing to me. so add that to your bucket list

my suggestions on these places that i've been nusa ceningan - small island but Mahana Point (Surf Place) just to check out all the surfers and people jumping into the water, Driftwood Bar Dan Zipline was short but a fun little zip across the cliffs, secret beach was awesome little strip of sand that you could sort of swim but i heard from a friend that went more recently it's badly eroded and barely any sand left so i'm not entirely sure of the status, Ceningan Cliffs was a great little spot to just chill and look at the view of nusa penida from a small swing and of course cross the yellow bridge lombok - top places i saw: pantai aan was a beautiful beach in the south, sembalun is very pretty even though noisy at the break of dawn from the mosques pergasingin hill here is a nice hike if you don't want to do rinjani although you probably will do this, tiu kelep waterfall and stay at rinjani lodge for the view komodo island - apparently the fee for this island is super expensive nowadays, not when i went (so probably try rinca island) but you can see big komodo dragons not much else here either, padar island is a must, Taka Makassar if you can is beautiful strip of sand. sumatra- only been to north sumatra but it was the best place i went in indonesia. must go to bukit lawang for the orangutans and river tyre ride back spend more time here, and samosir island is awesome (stayed at Tuk-Tuk Timbul bungalows, great place to relax a bit away from tuktuk which is the touristy area, not the fanciest place though) just scooter around see all the different tombs and culture of the batak people and the views and go inland as well, sipisopiso waterfall is nice on the way here too, medan i thought was interesting too around the chinatown area. not the best at food but try all the traditional stuff if you can. enjoy the rest of indonesia.

No, the quarantine is mandatory for every foreigner coming into Indonesia. A negative covid test is also compulsory. They won’t let you get onto the flight if you have a positive test result.

not the best at food but try all the traditional stuff if you can.

No, the quarantine is mandatory for every foreigner coming into Indonesia. A negative covid test is also compulsory. They won’t let you get onto the flight if you have a positive test result.

They are going to be one of the big winners once this catastrophe is behind us as they have continued to serve their customers here others have abandoned their markets.
