Sissel is very special. But for a beautiful contrast go to JudithDurham, one of the worlds greatest contralto’s. You can also find her under The Seekers. It is beholden on all of us I think to share information on terrific singers. That is after all how I came to this site.
@@stephaniebarr507 I totally agree. Until I first came across Sissell, just a few months ago, Judith Durham was to me, the most incredible, the most perfect. Then came Sissell and I feel so blessed to have had these two enrich my life with the beauty of the person, and the most beautiful voices. God's creations each. Praise to God, and the blessings of sharing them with the world. Heaven has given them to us as angels here on earth. (And, I can't go without mentioning Karen Carpenter, another beautiful voice we were blessed with)

It isn't. It's from a child's point of view, come through love from heaven above in love to its mother but in no greater love than the mother feels for the child. "momma I'm where I belong..." And the child muses about how it will have children of its own and eventually return to from where it came. "be long gone singing my song..." It is about unconditional love not unlike the New Testament love preached by Jesus.
