Just also I like to add, he played the three playoff games with the broken leg after the Super Bowl. He was picked for the pro game and he played in that game too.
My favorite team and player back in the 70's. Sure miss the good old days when football was fun to watch, and players wanted a championship more than money. Pro sports has been spoiled by greed by owners and players. Youngblood said that only the top players playing today want a championship, the rest are in it for the money. How sad is that??

@@btventura9570 It's one of my favorites!! I'm glad you like it, I have hours of SCTV, so subscribe please, thanks! Did you see Earl do his news reports while high on a legal weed trial? It's super hilarious! As for studly Jack, I have an old VHS tape of him, but ridiculously, none of his appearances are on any DVD I can find, let alone the VHS tapes I know exist but can barely find one of online. He's one of the greatest NFL players of all time, and I follow his principles, I played with a screwed-up leg that I seriously wrapped and taped up so much just so that I could run on it! So, we're bro-soul pals in my opinion!!
Awwwww ! This is so sweet 🥺💕 I think he needs love ❤️ Yes he’s definitely one of the best players who ever did play . His toughness is incredible. He is my #1 motivator everyday for every single thing .👏🏻🥺💕
I have his jersey! I had merlin olsens poster on my closet when i was a kid That defense was ram tough a pack of hungry wolfs fred dryer jack youngblood, merlin olsen and larry brooks who was an 8 time allpro Theyhad hacksaw jack Reynolds mlb Isaiah Robertson and olb ken geddes secondary was pat Thomas rod perry ,nolan Cromwell and I think bill simpson earlier Before this we had thr fearsome 4some jones, olsen grier and Lundy wow!
Those are names dear to my heart, Larry Brooks very underrated, all those guys deserved a Super Bowl, so sad Merlin wasn't around in the 1980 game... very dominant teams.
@@mikehanzal9562 Get out town pathetic clueless misguided clown. Rams steelers 79 superbowl wasn't decided until middle to late quarter 4th quarter. 31 to 19 is the furthest thing from a beatdown fool.

Roger Staubach, quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys said Jack Youngblood was the best opponent he ever faced.

Vikings fan. Thank you rams for letting us continually kick your ass in the playoffs during the 70's
Yeah, and then lay down for every AFC team that would flit onto the field.
