God the Men Who played This Game the way it was Supposed to be Played ! Unlike. today ! I’m afraid todays Kids will NEVER see this Type of Football Again ! Was born 1950 ! And those Were the Days !

The fact him and Jim were not brothers yet born in the same year (1950) and also played on that same Rams defense. The name alone made a presence in the film room
Person who liked my comment . Thanks for liking my comment , I love Jack Youngblood, he motivates me . Like I’m so many ways . I’m telling you . Like every single day , I think about things he said and it motivates me to be tough like him . Even my piano book has a picture of him in it . I also watch several videos about him playing football , and I can’t get off how strong he is , how tough , and how amazing it is . He is also very funny so like yeah I have watched videos of him joking around sometimes too lol . He’s also so kind and even though he was one tough person he didn’t mind helping other people , such as his team out, and even when he tackled people , he would help them back up . I was like “Aww , that is like the kindest heart ever .” 🥰❤️ so sweet . And I would for sure do the same if I were him .
They should have all been on steroids at this time, they were legal until the 90's and that's probably why football players then actually look like better and bigger athletes than they do today...
@@carolinecutrer9641 Whst You are Witnessing and Seeing is How the Game Was Played by the “MEN” who played the Game ! It was Hard Hitting But Most of the Defensive Players Hit you hard ! By far the best tribute video I have seen for any athlete SPECTACULAR !!! My favorite D player of the 70's as I turned into a teen. I was fortunate to meet him at autograph session in the NR Mall Ca. with a GREAT friend Paul Winans and at the time a HS teammate. It was like meeting John Wayne with his deep southern voice. He dwarfed us and we were HS lineman. He did not say much, he left an indelible mark on me as a no nonsense man as he proved on field damn near every down. It is extremely rare to replace a HOF player top 100 Deacon Jones while becoming a Canton immortal himself. Can you think of another? I can not many though.
Never Forget the Rams vs Steelers especially When in the pre game with Fred Dryer and Jack Youngblood Where Jack was showing the female sportscaster how he would tackle the Quarterback !it was Hysterical !

But Jack Younglbood was real. John Wayne was an actor, with some good works, who spent way too much time/effort trying to convince people he was that screen persona in real life.
John Wayne Played College Ball for USC ! John Wayne was Real too ! His Helmet was Leather and NO Face Guard ! Shoulder Pads we’re not worth Putting on if he even wore them ?
Since around 8:30 he asked of the list of players in a Superbowl that played with a broken leg. "The list has to be small"? I offer Terrell Owens to the list for histories sake
He is not sick . I think he’s , in fact very kind . Didn’t want to let his team down and played with a broken leg:( I think he’s so kind . Also he’s very tough too :)
Anytime those sissy NFL players nowadays have injuries. They should show them film of this guy. And he played for a quarter of what they make now a days

Jack Youngblood and Fred Dryer probably the two lightest defensive ends and still got it done and white
Fun fact, Roger Staubach, Dallas Cowboys quarterback, called Youngblood The greatest defensive player he ever played against.

You got that Right ! Todays Football is Disgusting !
Jack youngblood ate nails and screws for breakfast

No he didn’t !
When he was a rookie, Youngbloods head coach with the Rams said he was The worst player he had ever seen 😮
Mr RAM
So he was eligible for the hall of fame in 1990? He didn't get elected until 2001. Really?
Politics ... it can screw up a wet dream.
