I tried with the 6 clicks on Comandante with different water temperature (from 96C to 90C) but the pressure was always too high and I needed to use too much strength to pump to water (and it shouldn’t be). Any recommendations?
Ya it shouldn’t be like this, water temperate is fine, I’m guessing it’s your grind size was too fine. You try to adjust click by click and test out. Good luck!
My starting setting on Comandante is 7 for PicoPresso. With a 19 gram dose into the grinder. Good WDT makes a difference, and pump slightly slower until the first drops show around the edge. Pause for ten seconds, then gently start pumping and watching the shot coming out, in a mirror. As soon as it's covering the whole underside, that's when you press harder, until about halfway through your shot, then slower again. Flow profiling, almost as good as I imagine a Flair or a Cafelat Robot might produce. Some beans can work at six clicks, occasionally a dark roast might work at eight clicks.
I’ve resolved by using 15.5 gm of coffee and pre- heating every element (except for the basket) including the cup and spoon. In addition to running hot water through the unit I also turn the unit upside down before installing the basket and pour hot water in there to warm it up. I then heat the showers screen and basket holder with boiling water before drying and installing. I then boil the kettle again and use that to make the coffee. It sounds a lot more work than it is and ensures a very hot drink.
I use the bplus puck screen on my rancilio and it works well.
I'll have to get my wife to order me a stand on her next tabao order. Looks great 👍

it will not work, the rubber cover works as a seal, you will lose the pressure without it. Once I forgot to put it and it was terrible.
