THANK YOU FOR SHEDDING SOME LIGHT ON HIGH COMPRESSION STREET ENGINE'S. WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE AND THE WEIGHT OF THAT VEHICLE, AIR FUEL. YOU CAN RUN HIGH COMPRESSION MOTOR'S ON THE STREET WITHOUT RUNNING HIGH OCTANE FUEL. YOU CAN USE 91 TO 93 OCTANE FUEL ON THE STREET WITH HIGH COMPRESSION PISTON'S. I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO TALK ABOUT CAMSHAFT'S FOR STREET USE, CIRCLE TRACK CAM'S OR CRAZY HYDRAULIC ROLLER CAMSHAFT'S 7,000 RPM SHIFT'S ON THE STREET'S. HOW DO YOU RUN A RADICAL HYDRAULIC ROLLER CAMSHAFT ON THE STREET AND BE ABLE TO SHIFT AT 7,000 OR 7,500 RPM. GOOD HEAD'S, HIGH COMPRESSION PISTON'S, SINGLE PLANE MANIFOLD OR HOW CAN YOU RUN A TUNNEL RAM SETUP, WITH #2 HOLLEY 660 CENTER SQUIRTER'S. IN MY YOUNG DAY'S I HAD A 65' SS NOVA COUPE 4 SPEED BBC. NOW I'M FORD GUY I'M TRYING TO FIX UP A 64' FALCON SPRINT 2DR. HTP. I WANT TO RUN A SBF 363CU. MOTOR. GOD BLESS YOU, BEN. ALOHA, BRADA BEC. FROM: THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII.

That's a pretty cool trick , I will put that in my back pocket 😁 will it hurt the seal to hit it the way you did? Ive always placed a socket around the outside edge and bumped it on but it looked like it didn't hurt it hitting the top , i was always afraid it would cut the seal around the edges like that but I learn something everyday or every video that you put out 😊

I don’t to much about I try to use the right size most full race heads don’t use seals

That would be suicide for very high compression high rpm engines, when oil mists goes inside the chambers and drops the effective octane rating of the fuel and creates lots of carbon producing glowing areas ripe for pre-ignition sources...

Ben I have a question reguarding extra clearance main bearings is it better to run that on a turbo application? If on a cold start oil pressure is around 50 how much more will oil pressure increase using a high volume pump or high pressure

Hard to tell because different engines have various amount of leakage from the lifter bore, rod side clearances etc. It truly is a matter of trial and error. Many starts up with lots of pressures and eventually the oil thins out and pressure drops to where they want it to be!

Gotcha at the moment it has a standard bearing I never used the x bearings yet I thought it would of been better on this 351 thanks Ben I appreciate u man

On another topic I’m installing Keith black pistons in a 351 28cc compression is 10.1 piston under .02 on this 408 piston gap clearance should the gap be .030 and .028 on the second or vice versa ?

I followed ur quench setup yet in these type of pistons I think that went out the door as u explained on ur other video

It works instead of waiting for the right ones to show up and we have dyno day coming up.
