Sadly, people were encouraging her to and she did, but there were some people that told her not to do it. There's not much that I know of of why she wanted to and what her home life was like.

I was wishing to die on my birthday. Then I just decided to commit suicide on that day, for easier. I'm actually glad I was prevented, and still be here in these days. Just whenever I remind of what happened to roro it just tears me up, and the first times I've heard about her story I wanted to die too because the world was disgusting so they even made a poor girl kill herself. But however I'm now feeling a bit better about life and it's worth it that I endured not to commit suicide, at least I guess so. I hope you keep living too, you're really relatable and even if I don't know about you I'd be sad if something'd happen to you..

People are unfortunately spreading false information, which I understand because details can get messed up when something happened many year ago. Because of that, I thought right to correct everyone. 1. “Roro died after 3 hours.” She did not die after three hours. She fell and survived for about 5 minutes (maybe more) and then died. She may or may not have died on the way to the hospital, however this is just a personal theory. There was an article which I cannot find again since I do not speak Japanese, but the woman who found her said her lungs were still working and she had a pulse. She was declared dead after three hours. 2. “Roro was abused and bullied!” She was not abused in real life, she was just sexually harassed by older men on the internet. The only abuse she was given was that she was neglected by her mother. She was not bullied in real life either, just on her live-streams. You can see this by looking at class photos. 3. “Roro screamed when she fell!” She didn’t scream. I saw the video of the livestream. (I did not see the livestream in 2013, when it happened, but there is a reupload of the video here on RUclips. I will not link it because it breaks youtube guidelines) People get this from when her phone fell, the wind made a noise that people thought was her screaming. Before she fell, she said “scary” and “I can’t do it” in Japanese. 4. “Everyone was telling her to jump.” This is incorrect. Everyone, at least from what I saw, was telling her to go home. Please do not spread false information and jump to “spreading awareness” when you do not know the whole story. (sorry for my not accurate english, it is not my first language. if you’re seeing this twice it’s because I copy and pasted this on a few different rorochan videos)
I feel like her mother is somewhat forgivable in this. Japanese people work very often from what I know, and it’s the reason why some people choose to be hikikomoris and there are more pets than children.

Don't act like you miss her, you didn't know her. Nobody did, that was the reason she left. Saying you miss her won't retroactively do anything so don't kid yourself. You can feel sorry for her, pity her, but don't say you miss her, it's disrespectful to what she went through.
Perhaps they do, I don't know. They were apparently quite neglectful of her, though. What I was saying was that nobody *knew* her, not that nobody misses her. I am, however, saying that we from an outside perspective have no right to say we "miss" her.

She deserved to have a future. She deserved to have a dream. She deserved to be happy. She deserved to live. I didn't really know her and the dark meaning behind the song. As someone who is broken and doesn't feel emotions anymore, it was the first time in a long time that I felt sad for a person I don't fully know. After hearing her story and what happened in her livestream, I couldn't imagine the dread she felt after doing that. She was still young and had her life ahead of her. I hope she can see from above the songs and covers made in her honor. She will not be forgotten.

the story behind the song was never confirmed, this song is a suicide awareness song and Ruru is the oc of Noko. Noko vents by making music and has had a shit ton of attempts and this song is to spread awareness of suicidal and those feeling suicidal. And Noko made merch out of Ruru. Any Optimistic type of emotional support will help in the long run. Talk to your family, Therapist, or Friends. Imagine if roro were still alive to this day. She would be around 21 years old I believe (Currently, since its 2021 this year and I believe she was born in 1999 according to her username). Imagine all the things she could've done, she might've even become a famous live streamer and/or musician. R.I.P Roro-Chan, and to all the other young suicidal/depressed kids and teens. Suicide is never the answer to get rid of you problems, please, even if you can't do anything about it or in the situation you are that causes you to think these thoughts, please try to look at the bright side of things and try to cheer yourself up. Even if you think the world is conspiring against you, or think that nobody loves you or cares about you. I do. Even if I don't know you, I love every single one of you going through a hard time. Yes, I myself have experienced suicidal thoughts but luckily it they weren't severe or anything like that. Give thanks for what you DO have. I was wishing to die on my birthday. Then I just decided to commit suicide on that day, for easier. I'm actually glad I was prevented, and still be here in these days. Just whenever I remind of what happened to roro it just tears me up, and the first times I've heard about her story I wanted to die too because the world was disgusting so they even made a poor girl kill herself. But however I'm now feeling a bit better about life and it's worth it that I endured not to commit suicide, at least I guess so. I hope you keep living too, you're really relatable and even if I don't know about you I'd be sad if something'd happen to you..

People are unfortunately spreading false information, which I understand because details can get messed up when something happened many year ago. Because of that, I thought right to correct everyone.
1. “Roro died after 3 hours.”
She did not die after three hours. She fell and survived for about 5 minutes (maybe more) and then died. She may or may not have died on the way to the hospital, however this is just a personal theory. There was an article which I cannot find again since I do not speak Japanese, but the woman who found her said her lungs were still working and she had a pulse. She was declared dead after three hours.
2. “Roro was abused and bullied!”
She was not abused in real life, she was just sexually harassed by older men on the internet. The only abuse she was given was that she was neglected by her mother. She was not bullied in real life either, just on her live-streams. You can see this by looking at class photos.
3. “Roro screamed when she fell!”
She didn’t scream. I saw the video of the livestream. (I did not see the livestream in 2013, when it happened, but there is a reupload of the video here on RUclips. I will not link it because it breaks youtube guidelines) People get this from when her phone fell, the wind made a noise that people thought was her screaming. Before she fell, she said “scary” and “I can’t do it” in Japanese.
4. “Everyone was telling her to jump.”
This is incorrect. Everyone, at least from what I saw, was telling her to go home.
Please do not spread false information and jump to “spreading awareness” when you do not know the whole story.

This is sad but yet relatable. I’ve thought about ending my life countless times. In fact my dad actually ended his own and it put my family in a lot of pain. Even after that I have still thought about ending my life. People don’t realize the pain me and others go through on a daily basis.

the story behind the song was never confirmed, this song is a suicide awareness song and Ruru is the oc of Noko. Noko vents by making music and has had a shit ton of attempts and this song is to spread awareness of suicidal and those feeling suicidal. And Noko made merch out of Ruru.
Also we cannot be sure its a tribute, it uas never been said, the sing is a suicide awareness song talking about suicide in general and i wish more people knew this

when she jumped i can’t imagine the horror she felt, the people who told her to jump probably didn’t think she would, i feel like half of the people telling her to jump were some dumb teenagers at a sleepover just having “fun” until she did it. i hope whoever told her to jump never forget what they did. they took an angel away from all of us, rest in peace roro. you will be missed.

Imagine if roro were still alive to this day. She would be around 21 years old I believe (Currently, since its 2021 this year and I believe she was born in 1999 according to her username). Imagine all the things she could've done, she might've even become a famous live streamer and/or musician. R.I.P Roro-Chan, and to all the other young suicidal/depressed kids and teens. Suicide is never the answer to get rid of you problems, please, even if you can't do anything about it or in the situation you are that causes you to think these thoughts, please try to look at the bright side of things and try to cheer yourself up. Even if you think the world is conspiring against you, or think that nobody loves you or cares about you. I do. Even if I don't know you, I love every single one of you going through a hard time. Yes, I myself have experienced suicidal thoughts but luckily it they weren't severe or anything like that. Give thanks for what you DO have. And people, remember that Ruru is a character that represented kids with mental illnesses, not just roro (but roro was the main focus I believe). It breaks my heart that people on the last livestream of Roro-Chan were telling her to jump. Lots of people think that children are too young to have depression, but they don't realize what they might be going through. Many people might not see this, and this comment might seem sort of long but if you took your time to read this, thank you 🖤🖤. I'm hoping to get at least 1 reply since I don't write comments that often. And once again, rest in peace to all those kids/teens (Including Roro) who were/are currently suffering.
