Personally, for those types of corners, I just close my eyes, turn the wheel 225° and pray

This turn has always been a problem for me as well. I was able to watch the live stream while at work. When i got home immediately started running some laps. Your content showed me some of the mistakes i was making (mostly breaking points). After about 30 laps of practice and getting my setup correct started seeing drastic improvements in lap time. Thanks for a great game and great content. Im learning so much. Ciao!

I think Uncle Aris' pronunciation of Circuit should be the only way to say Circuit from now on! Thanks for the vids man, always a pleasure to watch and learn from.

The moment I saw that turn I immediately know it. Lovely Nurb - most technical track ever.

I used to find this turn annoying on most games but it seems like an easy corner and it is but what I found out for me at least the hard part was not the driving but how I was using my eyes in that turn. Sometimes on some turns because of the sections leading up to them it is not always easy to get your eyes back on the right place to gather the needed info. As for this turn I find because you first come over a blind crest you obviously cannot see till the last last moment and as you do come over it you are still coming across the track from the left to the right needing a glance to the right to position yourself for turn in and there's very little time at this point to then dart your eyes back to the left into the corner and even if you do get your eyes quickly where they need to be there's very little time to visualize the turn in your mind.
I find at every track when there is a problem corner for me it usually always comes back to either not gathering the needed info or not been able to visualize a certain turn , at least for me it's like this. If I can take in the info and I can see it in my mind I can do it and I'm sure the biggest difference between me and the better drivers is how accurately they can visualize , luckily though I think these things can be learned and improved on. Driving like every other sport almost ultimately is in the mind.

Very interesting to see the differences in difficulties, for me this turn is one of the easier ones at Nürburgring... a track that I do not really like in general that is :D

Yeah. Racing is very different for different people. For the life of me, I can't get fast on Monza. I'm pretty fast on Brands Hatch, Zolder and Silverstone. But Monza, I don't know.

The corner right before this one is way too difficult for me. How tf I am going off the track if I braked at the exact same spot a lap before and it was perfectly fine!

@@kraithaywire And for me Monza is one of my fastest tracks, I'm decent on Silverstone and brands hatch but Zolder and Zandvoort it's an absolute disaster.

Trailbraking is a symptom of a slightly misjudged braking point. In a curve with multiple apexes the incidents for trail braking multiply. I don't run gt3 cars. I run sports/super cars which are heavier, more powerful and have less sticky tires. I don't call it trail braking I call it throttle maintenance. The odds of miss braking in the cars I lap in are much higher than a gt3. So I live in this state constantly. It keeps you awake..

Does this mean you eventually go back to your initial setup?
Let's call 0 the initial setup that gave you problems in that turn, and 1 the customized setup that helped you doing that turn more confidently. You slowly comeback towards 0 doing 0.8, 0.6, 0.4... But will you eventually get back to 0 and find your problem solved, or will you stop at a compromise 0.2 or 0.4?

I know that feeling. For me is turn 12-13 at Misano, the fast one just before "Carro". I am not so bad in that turn. But I know that there will be one lap, even the 100th out of 101, where i will spin. And there is no setup that will help me. Talking seriously, for me it is too much work to set a car for one turn, then adapt etc. etc. Especially if I have a good setup for the rest of the track, I prefer to do a LOT of laps and find the best way to feel comfortable with the car I have.

    1. try aggressive setup
    2. find difficult turn
    3. change setup
    4. do better times
    5. struggle
    6. go back to aggressive setup
    7. ???
    8. PROFIT!

I find putting steering frequency to 222 when I have this problem is a good solution, the 2nd chicane in monza for example this really helps, all gt4 seem fine on 333 but have to do this to alot of the GT3 cars

Seems to make it less sharp and needs slightly more input, but does get rid of what he's talking about, has made huge difference to my lap times, messing with steering ratio could have the same effect I'd say

Aris, im a new subscriber great channel, great game, but, I can't figure out the tyre structure in setup. How do the tyre set quantities relate to each other in the (fuel and tyre box) vs the (pitstop strategy box). Is there a video that explains? this aspect of the game. I've learned alot from your channel but confused by the tyre set-up. Thanks

Aris I know you are not involved in console development but I beg you please speak to those who are working on console because it is an utter mess. You should take it down from the digital stores because quite frankly it is misleading people into buying a broken game. And 2 months without a proper update is ridiculous especially since FFB and Input Lag have not been remedied at all. Please Aris do something because this game is amazing.
