    why it burns close to the connections: the wires should help to remove heat, theoretically I would expect it would be colder there. Maybe it has to do with the copper/track thickness variation due to the board manufacturing process, namely the tracks are thinner ==> higher R ==> Higher power dissipated.

    It is very good lesson!
    I don't know why traks burnout in this places, but I notice, that placing power wires close to board edge is bad idea :-)

    hii, thank you so much for such detailed videos. I was however, hoping that the simulation is also able to determine the temperature of the copper tracks from ambient temperature provided by the user, instead of expecting a feedback, as the temperature of copper is dependent on the input current, isnt it?
