Hi Thom , Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Another enjoyable video. The scenery you added around the yard makes a lot of break up. You’re looking through the trees and see the trains moving behind them. Very good job. I finally got trains running on the layout again. I’m enjoying being able to that again. Breaking in some new locomotives I have had for about 9 months. Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend. 😎😎 👍
@@tommynorwood5184 Good morning, Tommy. Happy Black Friday, although I’ll be staying far away from any stores today. Glad you got your layout running just in time for the holidays where hopefully you’ll have some free time to enjoy it. Enjoy some leftovers and stay safe!
@@jensknopfrangiert Hello Jens. Thank you for watching. It has turned cold here, I hope you are having better weather in Germany. Enjoy the rest of your week and stay safe!
Hello Thom, your DCC system is very interesting, unfortunately I don't know it. But I always drive with 28 speed levels whether with the garden railway or H0. I always like your layout and the train operation. Thank you for showing it and a blessed first Advent to you and your family.✨✨❤ Best wishes Wolfgang
@@wolfgangpfeilergartenbahnd6530 Hello Wolfgang. I don’t know much about the electronics when it comes to trains. I want it to be like my TV: simple and reliable to operate without requiring a lot of technical knowledge. Sort of like me!😁 I hope you are having a good weekend and staying healthy, my friend.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING Thom, I hope that your trip to Ohio was a good one. Have a wonderful day with your family my friend. As always, a super nice Ops Session. Thanks for the DCC instructions. Rich

Good morning Thom, Happy Thanksgiving to you your family. Hope you are having a restful week off. Have to say again the scenery looks great in and around the yard. I’ll be spending Thanksgiving day with my brother in Indiana and with my kids tomorrow. Tough holiday this year for me so thank you and others for your videos and my layout. One more leaf session for me hopefully too. Stay safe Scott
@@kahunatiki6498 Hi Scott. Yes, this holiday season will be tough, no getting around it. Just try to think of the positive memories and enjoy the family that you still have. As we get older, they become fewer and fewer. I’ll see my brother today, he always comes to my mother-in-laws for Thanksgiving. I’m going to post a video every day over the long weekend. Enjoy! Drive safe, my friend.
Nice video Thom! I really like the trees along the yard, it adds a bit of a view block. Never had that problem with the headlights before but good to know if I ever do. Might need to do some preemptive analysis on my engines.
@@frantesorero it may only be on their newer decoders. The last 2 factory installed decoders have had that problem when I tried to program the road number. It worked fine until then. Happy Thanksgiving, hope you get to see all of your family. Stay safe!
Nice video. Always enjoy the ops. If CV 29 was originally 32, you should change it to 34 to get 28 speed steps. 46 also allows DC operation and changes another setting that has no effect unless you're using Railcom.
@@donaldshroyer8633 Thanks Donald. The only reason I put it on 46 was because that’s what a locomotive that did work was set at. 32 did not work. In any case, it’s working now. Enjoy your Sunday and stay safe!
