My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

He claims that he has never used a shock collar, but there are photographs to prove otherwise. Also, he claims to find issue with e-collars, yet is perfectly comfortable strangling his clients' dogs (yes, there are several videos for evidence).
While I don't agree with his tactics I don't ever plan on owning that many dogs at once and it's clear he is using a dog hierarchy to his advantage by setting himself as the alpha by only controlling the alpha of the pack. You can like unlike subscribe etc do whatever you like, but understand that having that many dogs at once requires an order. Otherwise its complete chaos.

It's been studied and proven that dogs and their owners have a better bond and relationship when positive methods are used for training, not this "alpha" crap where they push the dogs around and punish them when they do something different than what the owner wants.

Every dog need love and attention of its owner.Also training of a dog should be maintained by its owner.We have a german shepherd dog since he was 8 weeks old and he is 7 now. We trained him by playing with him,showing him love ,patience,gentleness, attention and by spending a lot of time with him.When he was 12 weeks he had no problem walking on the leash, he was and still is at the forest preserve daily playing with us and his favourite toys:ball or 2 sticks.He was and is admonished by the tone of the voice only and trained by repeating of commands:"stop","stay, "sit" "slow down".and so on : also he was and is praised for accomplishment of commands with"good dog" and tenderness.If you show your dog that you love and care for him then he pays you double ,triple of love, more , he will do everything for you.

I'm really uncomfortable with him just walking half a dozen dogs through a city. I would've called police on him if I saw him, to be honest, because a leash is NOT just a tool for you to control your disobedient dog. Sariss Hopefully you don’t live where there is a lot of traffic and other dogs around. Sure it’s all well and good that your dogs are trained but even well trained dogs can still get hit by a car. And not everyone else trains their dogs so whose to say a dog won’t run up to yours and start a fight? There are leash laws for a reason.

I know it’s all cute and cool to not walk your dog on a leash, but it’s just about being aware and thoughtful. My dog is not good with other dogs, I keep her on a lead when we go to the park, every time (without fail) all the other dogs don’t have a leash. Why’s that my problem? Because these dogs run up to my dog and their owners allow it. My dog gets upset, then it’s my fault my dog nearly bit your dog. Dog owners need to stop assuming every dog is friendly. I just had an incident last week when I went walking with my dad, my dog was on her lead (as usual), and this giant bull mastiff runs up to her, I swooped her up as fast as I could but it was trying to lick her and smell her and the owner was doing nothing, thankfully my dad gave him an earful. I’ve just bought a yellow lead and harness for her that says “nervous”, if people still ignore that sign then I’ll see what legal action I can take against them.
cj I was just going to say that yellow leads can make people aware about your doggies situation, or a vest that says something on it. People are just naturally wired to think every dog is ok to pet and that's not true. I too have a nervous dog (due to years of abuse from previous owners before I adopted him) and ppl get offended when I tell them he doesn't like getting pet by strangers especially men because of his pass abuse.

It is not down to every other dog owner to impede their dogs freedom and natural social tendencies, it is your responsibility to act. First, is your dog truly dog reactive, and truly aggressive? Has it ever latched on to another dog to the extent that it has drawn blood? If not, it may be that you are misreading your dogs body language, and by being tense and "swooping her up" you are teaching your dog to be fearful around other dogs: reinforcing the behaviour you don't want. You could try seeking a reputable local trainer for rehabilitation (if the problem is even with your dog, and not yourself). Ultimately, maybe even a muzzle, so that if you truly have established that you have a dog aggressive dog, and after you have sought professional training advice and help, IF there is a possibility your dog could injure others: the muzzle would mean other dog owners don't have to fear having their dog injured, or you or your relatives shouting at them, when their well adjusted dogs are doing what comes natural to the vast majority of socialised and trained canines!
GMak81 Georgia has bitten another dog. Thankfully the owner was very understanding. Her temperament has gone down hill since being spayed. As she is 12, I’m not going to look into seeing a behaviouralist. Georgia does have a muzzle which she wear out and about. But I feel that’s quite contradictory of you, you just said dogs should be able to act like dogs, yet mine should wear a muzzle. It’s rude that you are accusing that the problem could be with me. Georgia has always been a social dog, there are dogs she gets along with, but on walks she can get scared by other dogs bounding up to her which leads her to react.

I saw that page on Facebook everybody talks about and I didn’t see anything wrong! I saw the videos he is not kicking them or beating them up he may be a little rough while training but I don’t see something extremely dangerous everybody is just overreacting!
I’m great with training dogs aswell. I also run a small animal rescue. ( mainly for the small pets people don’t care to think twice before throwing in a small enclosure with zero research. Rats hamsters mice gerbils etc. ) I also have an older small dog and well... a few huskies. Huskies are very smart but too smart- they realize when they can get away with something where other dogs like these guys like the please their owners. Huskies are notorious escape artists, and no matter how much they love you once they realize they can run there’s no stopping them- even if you were to bring out a big juicy steak. Once they realize they’re off leash or can jump a fence and you go out... they’re off sprinting down a busy street in a flash without looking back. It’s just their drive. There have been few who have off leash trained their huskies but even the most well trained husky I would NEVER recommend it. Whilst I could do this aswell with German shepherds- I can only imagine the huskies doing this 🤣🤣. They’re incredibly well trained - can walk them all together easily on leashes and tell them to sit and wait when on a walk, once they’re on a leash they’re fine but again, the second if I were to unhook their leashes and any were to realize , they’d be off. Unlike the shepherd.
Brittany Becker I would never recommend it. I train my huskies “ off leash “ in our yard and when by my side in a daily secluded park, but they will never be fully off leash. Huskies have a huge prey drive and outdoor drive, I have known many huskies to be successfully off leash but every husky I know who has been has also just bolted one day at random, so I will not trust it with the breed. They are very smart though!

I'm really uncomfortable with him just walking half a dozen dogs through a city. I would've called police on him if I saw him, to be honest, because a leash is NOT just a tool for you to control your disobedient dog. It's so you can control him when OTHERS become unsafe or environment has sudden hazards in it.
I'd take yanking dog with a leash over a car hitting him or another animal attacking him any day, for example... not to mentions idiots who'll now try and copy him and become dangers with their barely trained dogs.

Sariss Hopefully you don’t live where there is a lot of traffic and other dogs around. Sure it’s all well and good that your dogs are trained but even well trained dogs can still get hit by a car. And not everyone else trains their dogs so whose to say a dog won’t run up to yours and start a fight? There are leash laws for a reason.

I know it’s all cute and cool to not walk your dog on a leash, but it’s just about being aware and thoughtful. My dog is not good with other dogs, I keep her on a lead when we go to the park, every time (without fail) all the other dogs don’t have a leash. Why’s that my problem? Because these dogs run up to my dog and their owners allow it. My dog gets upset, then it’s my fault my dog nearly bit your dog. Dog owners need to stop assuming every dog is friendly. I just had an incident last week when I went walking with my dad, my dog was on her lead (as usual), and this giant bull mastiff runs up to her, I swooped her up as fast as I could but it was trying to lick her and smell her and the owner was doing nothing, thankfully my dad gave him an earful. I’ve just bought a yellow lead and harness for her that says “nervous”, if people still ignore that sign then I’ll see what legal action I can take against them.
cj I was just going to say that yellow leads can make people aware about your doggies situation, or a vest that says something on it. People are just naturally wired to think every dog is ok to pet and that's not true. I too have a nervous dog (due to years of abuse from previous owners before I adopted him) and ppl get offended when I tell them he doesn't like getting pet by strangers especially men because of his pass abuse.

I use to put a yellow ribbon on her lead as that too is a national sign of a nervous dog or one who needs space. When people get butt hurt about their dogs not being able to come to Georgia I just say check out yellowdoguk :)
It is not down to every other dog owner to impede their dogs freedom and natural social tendencies, it is your responsibility to act.
First, is your dog truly dog reactive, and truly aggressive? Has it ever latched on to another dog to the extent that it has drawn blood? If not, it may be that you are misreading your dogs body language, and by being tense and "swooping her up" you are teaching your dog to be fearful around other dogs: reinforcing the behaviour you don't want.
You could try seeking a reputable local trainer for rehabilitation (if the problem is even with your dog, and not yourself).
Ultimately, maybe even a muzzle, so that if you truly have established that you have a dog aggressive dog, and after you have sought professional training advice and help, IF there is a possibility your dog could injure others: the muzzle would mean other dog owners don't have to fear having their dog injured, or you or your relatives shouting at them, when their well adjusted dogs are doing what comes natural to the vast majority of socialised and trained canines!
GMak81 Georgia has bitten another dog. Thankfully the owner was very understanding. Her temperament has gone down hill since being spayed. As she is 12, I’m not going to look into seeing a behaviouralist.
Georgia does have a muzzle which she wear out and about. But I feel that’s quite contradictory of you, you just said dogs should be able to act like dogs, yet mine should wear a muzzle.
It’s rude that you are accusing that the problem could be with me. Georgia has always been a social dog, there are dogs she gets along with, but on walks she can get scared by other dogs bounding up to her which leads her to react.

It comes down to respect. Even if Georgia was good with other dogs, I would NOT allow her to bound up to other dogs. I don’t know what that dogs temperament is like. So that small act of irresponsibly could have bad affects on everyone involved. Take this video, walking a pack of dogs without leashes. How does the dogs wild counterpart hunt? In packs. I don’t care whether your dog can cook a meal, build a wall, clean up his own poo, you do NOT know 100% that your dog will not snap or run off - and that’d be a lot worse when they’re running as a pack.

He's pretty big on abusing dogs so I'd think again on that, a lot of the training you don't see is terrible and doesn't help since it depends on pain and fear. Also very dirty lined dogs, the breeding is horrendous.

I saw that page on Facebook everybody talks about and I didn’t see anything wrong! I saw the videos he is not kicking them or beating them up he may be a little rough while training but I don’t see something extremely dangerous everybody is just overreacting!
I’m great with training dogs aswell. I also run a small animal rescue. ( mainly for the small pets people don’t care to think twice before throwing in a small enclosure with zero research. Rats hamsters mice gerbils etc. ) I also have an older small dog and well... a few huskies. Huskies are very smart but too smart- they realize when they can get away with something where other dogs like these guys like the please their owners. Huskies are notorious escape artists, and no matter how much they love you once they realize they can run there’s no stopping them- even if you were to bring out a big juicy steak. Once they realize they’re off leash or can jump a fence and you go out... they’re off sprinting down a busy street in a flash without looking back. It’s just their drive. There have been few who have off leash trained their huskies but even the most well trained husky I would NEVER recommend it. Whilst I could do this aswell with German shepherds- I can only imagine the huskies doing this 🤣🤣. They’re incredibly well trained - can walk them all together easily on leashes and tell them to sit and wait when on a walk, once they’re on a leash they’re fine but again, the second if I were to unhook their leashes and any were to realize , they’d be off. Unlike the shepherd.
Huskies can be trained to off leash! It’s takes time and training and exercise
Brittany Becker I would never recommend it. I train my huskies “ off leash “ in our yard and when by my side in a daily secluded park, but they will never be fully off leash. Huskies have a huge prey drive and outdoor drive, I have known many huskies to be successfully off leash but every husky I know who has been has also just bolted one day at random, so I will not trust it with the breed. They are very smart though!
