Nah! If a dog is ahead of the person that means the dog dominate the owner. If the dog walking beside or behind the owner means the owner is the leader of the pack. Thats why when u see a dog walking ahead of the owner on leash, the dog thinks he/she is the leader.

Yup. Should be asked every time a customer chooses a trainer. Meet somewhere crowded, off leash dogs and if the trainer refuses. Dont waste time on that trainer.
You don't have to train robots though. That's not most people's goal with their animal. You can perfectly train good dogs and leave them their indepedance to decide what they do with their body on their own. They don't need to be micro managed like that and turned into robots that just obey.
Socialized dogs without the training would just run around licking everyone and keep running up to the next exciting looking person. They are Well trained and your comment sounds very dismissive of the training that has gone into these animals.

I have watched teachers for 27 years. Pre Kinder (3yr olds) all the way thru to 8th grade. I'm a retired Library Assistant. There were times when we were short of substitute teachers and I'd be pulled in to sub. So I have had the experience and the pleasure of walking Kinder babies. Trust me it was not always an easy task.😊 Kiddos have minds of their own and they will let you know that in no uncertain terms. So please don't think I was being disrespectful. I loved every minute of my years spent with the kids and the teachers.

In my years as special Ed. Supervisor and Psychological Examiner (30), I enjoyed observed watching classes moving about the school from a distance. They would remind you a lot of those wonderful dogs. That's because their experienced teachers spent the first two weeks of the year training them to move silently and in line. Once they learned that, the literacy and math skills were much easier to teach. Loved my school years, especially my last few years teaching English to 10th Graders. But I'm too old for that now, lol.

Beautiful and well behaved pups! My pointer lab mix used to walk with me in and around Denver and she would stay within 15 inches of me at all times without a leash. Now she's nearly 16 years old and she does whatever she wants, but she has certainly earned that right! ❤️
That is entirely charming. She is a grand old lady now and deserves your indulgence. My Bernese Shepherd has outlived her two brothers. She still loves her daily walk but she needs to powder her nose more often than in her younger days. I am grateful she remains fastidious in her habits even if it is 4 o'clock in the morning. There may come a day when she is no longer capable of being so fussy and she'll be forgiven for that too.

I have watched teachers for 27 years. Pre Kinder (3yr olds) all the way thru to 8th grade. I'm a retired Library Assistant. There were times when we were short of substitute teachers and I'd be pulled in to sub. So I have had the experience and the pleasure of walking Kinder babies. Trust me it was not always an easy task.😊 Kiddos have minds of their own and they will let you know that in no uncertain terms. So please don't think I was being disrespectful. I loved every minute of my years spent with the kids and the teachers.

In my years as special Ed. Supervisor and Psychological Examiner (30), I enjoyed observed watching classes moving about the school from a distance. They would remind you a lot of those wonderful dogs. That's because their experienced teachers spent the first two weeks of the year training them to move silently and in line. Once they learned that, the literacy and math skills were much easier to teach. Loved my school years, especially my last few years teaching English to 10th Graders. But I'm too old for that now, lol.

Beautiful and well behaved pups! My pointer lab mix used to walk with me in and around Denver and she would stay within 15 inches of me at all times without a leash. Now she's nearly 16 years old and she does whatever she wants, but she has certainly earned that right! ❤️

That is entirely charming. She is a grand old lady now and deserves your indulgence. My Bernese Shepherd has outlived her two brothers. She still loves her daily walk but she needs to powder her nose more often than in her younger days. I am grateful she remains fastidious in her habits even if it is 4 o'clock in the morning. There may come a day when she is no longer capable of being so fussy and she'll be forgiven for that too.

@@danielleg.1084 I've already seen this like a year or so ago and it really looked odd! they are definitely not happy dogs and i don't want that. walks are supposed to be a fun activity forn them because they get to exercise and see a lot of different things. if their trainer really taught them well, they can be well-behaved and be relaxed at the same time, not as stiff as a log!

Also their coats look nice and shiny and they don't look over or under fed, an issue many GS owners I see having since those dogs tend to run underweight very fast (high energy, often picky eaters)

I have 3 huskies and while 4 would be more of a challenge, it's absolutely possible if you put in the time with your dogs. I walk my dogs exactly like this video regularly.
