When salt water fishing a jetty braid is used because tide doesn’t effect the line and create a bow. Again you have crossed the similarities. Great job. I should have thought of this. It makes perfect sense for the deep setup. Great video.

I just purchased my first big water boat and I have no experience with big water fishing setups. I appreciate your time and really enjoy your videos.

Thanks for the tips! I run spoons like nbk, frosty frog, range of spitz lures some other uv spoons that generate lots of interest. Fish come and follows but strikes are rear to none on an odd day. Main line is 20 LBS leader is 15 LBS. How long are your leaders, flasher to spoon? Thanks.

If you put a bead at the swivel the fleas won’t fowl the swivel

Hello. Was wondering if you run the streamside dipsy rods for wire divers?
I’m wondering if they need the tips changed or not?
Thanks the vids kept me occupied during covid!

I run them and have installed a spring tip on them (my own design that I’ve been working on). Really good action…. I use the 9’ 6” versions…

do you get fleas on the braid

Unfortunately they do get in the braid... I only use this setup when fishing deep and if the fleas are out I ensure I clean it off every 15-20 minutes.
